Won my fifth championship after losing to Lakers in the previous season and I received this msg from the GM. Kinda encouraging.

Did you get the "I'm so disappointed" one the previous season? I've seen that a couple of times when simming through the first season to test the roster updates.

Well, lost in the first round of playoffs to Indianna, (4-3). No major moves during the offseason, resigned Koufous and Moon. Traded McGee and two rookies for Pachulia.

Reason for the trade: McGee has been playing like shit, and not improving, Koufous however is improving and a scoring and rebounding machine, and his rating from the first season was 72, and now its 82, and my starter now.

So my roster is the same but replace McGee with Pachulia.

4 games into the 2011-2012 season, just finished a game with the Spurs, blew them out, Koufous went for 24 and 16 , while Wall had 31/12/6 and Ben Gordon had 23 although he shot like 20 percent , and Blatche had 14/14 and Aminu had 25pts 8 Rbds. Richard Jefferson was the top scorer of the game, 35 pts, 7 rebounds, and for some reason everytime I play the Spurs I can't stop Jefferson.

Sure did when I didn't win the championship in the first couple of seasons, then it was almost always "Well done!", then something about resting myself during the offseason and get ready for the next one. After 4 consecutive championship I got a little complacent and lost the next, I figured the GM will be rather disappointed.

Was hoping to see what the GM will say to me next if I win a back-2-back championship but alas, my roster crashed on me and I couldn't make it past the trading players part of the upcoming season...

I've always felt some of those Owner messages were annoyingly snarky.

In my memphis grizzlie dynasty, i traded (whom i hated giving up) Marc Casol, and another player I think Tinsley for atlanta's Jamal Crawford. Then i traded Lester Hudson, Ronnie Brewer for Kyle Korver. I'm building my team to be a run and gun team and around the deep two to the three point line. I want this team to score at least 97 points a game, whether we win or loose.

Yeah, this thread is more for general conversation about your current Dynasty rather than blatantly promoting your Dynasty thread.

Start OKC dynasty with TUP10 v.3.2 rosters.
First season missed playoffs. In offseason trade rookie for Marvin Williams ATL, started second year, with 20-8, but after I loss 15 games in a row. :( Finished fourt in West, won Spurs in first round 4 games to 3. In second round loss to Dallas 4 games to 0... :(
Durant now have a 97 rating. Durant won two MIP.
Finished training camp and think about new year.

15 game losing streak? That sucks for you. In 2k10, OKC always gets the 1st seed

Yes, exactly Durant is perfect, also Harden is too powerful.

Memphis is playing well, last year we lost to cleveland in the nba finals and this year we had 3 players in the allstar game, Mike Conley, Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo.

Yep Conley sure did, he's a scorer now as well and one of our main scorers, i've worked on his offensive game quite a bit trying to improve his passing ability.

Weird, never had Conley rise like that but I've got Vladimir Radmanovic rise at the age of 32 to a 93 overall and retire just three years later.
Rudy Gay's always an all-star.

For some reason Durant isn't a powerhouse in 2003. I'm changing that in my new rosters. 90 Overall Rating!!! (Y)

I know, ask tommy. Wait... Why 90? It needs to be 96-97. He is the second candidate for MVP!

Turned back to NBA Live 2001.
Playing with Golden State Warriors, traded Bob Sura for Tony Battie (BOS). Had the 1st overall pick at draft, drafted John Dixon (SF, ovr 80). Traded Antawn Jamison and Mookie Blaylock for Jason Williams and Bobby Jackson (I need to have a younger PG, I also have Dixon :D ). Going well at second year.

In the same memphis dynasty, there was an amazing trade between cleveland and the lakers, the lakers traded Kobe Bryant for cleveland's Shaquille Oneal, now Lebron and Kobe are on the same team.

Kobe > Lebron

I always make my dynasties on fantasy draft, and pick Kobe over Lebron even though they're both rated 97. (KG is the only other 97 player in Live 08.) Not a fan of the three though.

Badger, Durant's rating in TRU09 was 83. I'm setting it to 90, so that he won't max out at 99 in like two years. Also he still makes mistakes and isn't as good as LeBron (97), Kobe (96), or Wade (96). Yet. At least Durant will score 28ppg now instead of the 17 he was averaging in TRU09

I have to set ratings lower otherwise they skyrocket because the CPU thinks LeBron is 18 instead of 25 after 2010 season, because in the game it still shows up as 2003 Season.
Imagine an 18 year old with the skills of Lebron James...
