November 27:Atlanta Hawks @ Chicago Bulls
No Deng,no worries,as Bulls beat the Hawks in a late thriller

Image
Joakim Noah was a beast in the Chicago Bulls narrow win against the Hawks

Even with Luol Deng out for 3 weeks, after his injury at Toronto, the Bulls had a solid match and took the win at a fancy way.In a low scoring match, the Chicago Bulls, after the efforts of Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose, who combined for 46 of the total 83 points Chicago scored, were able to beat by a point the Atlanta Hawks 83-82.Derrick Rose scored the last 4 points who proved to be crucial.

Mike Bibby had been a threat on the last minute of the game, scoring 3 threepointers keeping the Hawks really close and making 82-83 with 6 seconds to go.But then the Hawks didn’t manage to intentionaly foul D-Rose,as he was able to throw an amazing pass to Gibson who was alone with no defender on him and even he missed the very very easy lay-up the Bulls won.

Ben Gordon was injured, but he will be able to play in the next game, only being a little cautious

FINAL SCORE:Chicago Bulls- Atlanta Hawks 83-82

Chicago Bulls
Points:Noah(24),Rose(22),
Rebounds:Noah(12),
Assists:Rose(8)

Sidenotes:Joakim Noah double-double,Rose 50% from the field

Atlanta Hawks

Rebounds:Horford(11),Smith(7)
Assists:Horford,Smith,Johnson(4)

An example of how the AI will try to screw you over, even to the end. ;) Good job getting the win.

And in fact, they even managed to take a timeout, though the time had ended before the call! But then they couldn't shoot the ball

At least they weren't able to hit a shot attempted after the buzzer. I lost a game that way in my 06 Dynasty in the first season.

November 29:New Jersey Nets(6-9) @ Chicago Bulls (11-2)
Bulls end a great month by beating the Nets with ease
Image
Joakim Noah was again great in the Bulls' win

The Chicago Bulls despite losing Carlos Boozer for 6 weeks in the second game of the season, find them selves sitting comfortable as one of the top 3 teams of the league, with a 12-2 record.

At the last game of November they managed to beat the Nets 94-76,having both Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose in great day, showing those two are the team's base this season as well, though with the return of Carlos Boozer things may change.
Bulls didn't have any real concerns the whole game,as they had the lead from the first minute till the end of the match.
They started the game great with a 20-10 1st quarter, and despite the Nets closing down to 5 in the half time, the Chicago Bulls just did their job in the both ends and managed to get an easy win with 17 points, winning with a fancy way again

Courtney Lee was the only one trying for the Nets, but he was all alone, scoring 25,with the next player scoring 16.

FINAL SCORE:Chicago Bulls - New Jersey Nets 94 - 76

Chicago Bulls
Points:Noah(30),Rose(24),Alexander(16)
Rebounds:Alexander(7),Korver(6),Noah(5)
Assists:Rose(10)

Sidenotes:Derrick Rose double-double ,50% 3PT

New Jersey Nets
Points:Lee(25),James(16),Quinn(11)
Rebounds:Lopez,Favors(6)
Assists:Quinn(6),Lee(4)

Sidenotes:52% FG

MVP of the Match:Joakim Noah

Next Match:December 1 vs Charlotte Bobcats

What's with the low scoring? And I have the same problem in Live 08 with Amar'e, averages a triple-double.

Low scoring of the players?
Maybe it's cause i have 8 min simulation.
BUt i will put 12 minutes simualtion this month, and only keep 8 for in-game

As it seems Amar'e is unstopable not only in this dynasty, but with almost every dynasty i played  !

Good to see you atop the league. Some surprises there with the Lakers struggling, the Pacers with the third seed and the Magic in ninth place. No surprise seeing Rose atop the MVP Candidates though.

now this is really getting me pumped into trying my own dynasty!a clippers dynasty...and in my version....they won't lose to the Bulls twice  hahaha

anyways
great job George7! can't wait for more

i wonder if u are going to make any moves

Deng is definitely expendable now that Korver is lighting it up for u. I think u should move him and maybe Alexander and/or brown for a more established back up PG and back up Big
...Ratliff is getting old and Law/Murry might not be able to hack it as backup PG's
can't have Rose running 200% every game. cross fingers, but just be carefully not to overplay him and allow him to get injured (ur already having some bad luck)

I will definetely make some moves. But i wanted not to make many trades in little time. Obviously these will be my moves. A solid big man and a good Pg reserve with Brown, Law, Rattliff and Alexander expendables. Deng is someone who because of his big contract is a question

yea, i think u have a better SF in Korver
..at least the way ur team is built, a floor spreader is a good (even if Korver hasn't been lights out from behind the arc yet)

unless u r really high on Deng...or u feel that Korver doesn't have enough to be a legit starter, u should try to salary dump Deng's contract to a team with cap space. will lead to flexibility in the future. and if u can get a nice piece then cool, if not then u have another player that is expendable to get the pieces to strengthen ur roster.

i'll be real interested to see what u do...even if u can't move Deng, either he or Korver will be a solid for 6th man (Y)

Korver, though being good at shooting has low overall(69 to 82 Deng has) and not that good inside game.
But i tried to trade Deng with no luck and probably i will make another try later on,if i'm sure i'll get a legit SF as a starter or as a Korver backup.
But Korver is the 6th man for the team curently

Well if you believe Korver is a 6th man and not a starter (which makes sense due to the overall). Then theres no problem keeping Deng. At least for another year. I believe Rose has 2 more years? You'd probably want to trade Deng for a cheaper contract before Rose is on his last year. i love roster shakes ups! can't wait to see what kind of trade you can pull off :D

I will keep Rose for sure and Deng (along with Gordon maybe) will be the ones to sacrifice for clearing cap. Though in this summer there is the big off season with lebron,Wade i want to keep Boozer as well or sign Amare.
I like trades and roster shake ups as well-and firstly i will try to get contracts that run out and clear space for each summer.

Rose has 5 steals per game?!?! Nice. Keep him, Korver, Law, Noah, Boozer. But I think you should get what you can out of Luol Deng and then trade him. I've been able to trade him for J-Rich. Good Luck!

December 1:Charlotte Bobcats(6-8) @ Chicago Bulls(12-2)

Clutch Acie Law Gives Bulls a Tough win over Charlotte
Image
Law had a clutch game for the Bulls despite not playing that much

After a great November for the Bulls,Chicago started with the right foot this December with a close win over Charlotte.

Derrick Rose was the best player for the Bulls almost in the whole game. Yeah, almost. Because he was fouled out in the 4th with 1 minute left and when things matter more,as the score was tied 105-105.Felton added 2 points then and Jackson scored 4 straight and made it 105-110.But they forgot to consider Acie Law and Theo Ratliff.Ratliff scored 2 with a steal, and Law scored 5 straight with 1 steals and great defence on Felton, making him being fouled out.Felton was along with Jackson the best for the Cats with 31 and 32 points, but Law managed to get rid of the one in the time Bulls needed it more.

After making it 112-110 ,Hughes was fouled intentionaly and missed the free-throws,but took the board and got fouled but made the shots. Charlotte missed the open shot with Jackson and Hughues was fouled again being calm and making the FTs.Charlotte made a quick attack with 17.5 seconds to go,but missed 4 consecutive shots under the rim(!),before Wallace scored with 3.4,making the score 112-116.Hughues was fouled, made the free-throws and Wallace missed the shot, who had though no meaning, and the Bulls won this one with a fashion, despite falling down twice by 10 in the 4th quarter.

In those situations,Korver and Rose handled the shots when the balls was on fire and managed to tie the game in both situations.Rose had again a double double with Hughues having 20 with 6 points in the last 35 seconds all with free-throws and Korver with 18,with some crucial scoring in moments, when the Bobcats were taking big leads.

FINAL SCORE:Chicago Bulls - Charlotte Bobcats 118-112

Chicago Bulls
Points:Rose(27),Hughues(20),Korver(18)
Rebounds:Alexander(13),Noah(11),Gibson,Rose(6)
Assists:Rose(10),Noah(5),Gordon(4)

Sidenotes:Rose double-double,Alexander double-double,Noah Double-double,Kyle Korver 50% from the field(7/14)

Charlotte Bobcats
Points:Jackson(32),Felton(31),Wallace(18)
Rebounds:Chandler(13),Wallace(7),Thomas(6)
Assists:Wallace(7)Felton(5)

Sidenotes:Steven Jackson 12/25 for the field(48%)

MVP of the Match: Derrick Rose

Next Game:December 3 vs Dallas Mavericks

Rose might lead the league in fouls too :?

By the way, is Deng and Boozer completely healed and back from injury? (maybe update the lineup on the front page)
