The only time an MVP will win the award with a 24-win team. (Y)

Not really. Your's is Stealth, completely different from Sonics. You didn't stick true to Supersonics' basketball. You threw history out the door.

Okay, enough Batum talk. Anyways, flagged OKC to Sonics offline Association idea. Might run it with Warriors instead :P

Jameer Nelson
Kobe Bryant
Caron Butler

Dirk Nowitzki

Bench
W. Haynes (Gen Rookie)
Jerryd Bayless
JJ Barea
Rodrigue Beabious
DeAndre Jordan

Going up against the 4 seed Hawks(defending champs) and I'm gonna play those games for fun.

Started one with Raptors.

2010-2011 Season: Worst team in league, however DeRozan got MIP award.

2011-2012 season : started hot, got cold for about 2 months, went on 7 game win streak, went cold again, and in february we were very hot winning 5 games in a row. Currently at allstar weekend.

Current Roster:
PG- Farmar/Jarret Jack/Ish Smith
SG- DeRozan/Xavier Henry
SF- Trout/Kleiza
PF - Ed Davis/Amir Johnson/Joey Dorsey
C- Bargnani/David Andersen

Jack is out for the season with Torn acl.

Thank 2k9 for that.

At the time there were a few options.

1) Play with OKC but use classic Sonics jerseys. Dunno if you could with the jerseys as never checked. But playing with those jerseys on the Thunder's court..
2) Play with the Sonics but have shitty newspaper jerseys...

Both options were viable but i opted not to. Why? Because it wouldn't be true to the Sonics.

And so, I wasn't throwing out history, I was preserving it.

Yes Sit, I realised after you posted it that you were playing 2k9 & you didn't have many options as you would say in 2k11, where it would've sucked if you'd gone with Stealth.

Anyways, back on topic. I started up a Warriors 82 game Association tonight. Playing All-Star Sim with player roles OFF :P , current rosters, no trades yet, although I got no desire to keep Brandan Wright.

After being beaten handedly at home by the Rockets, I faced off against the young Clippers. What an amazing game, a game of spurts. In the end I found myself down 4 points with about 10 seconds to go. Fortunately my hero Monta Ellis, who had a career high 46 points on the night, drained a clutch 3. After the foul & 2 Clippers' made FT's, I had about 1.5 seconds left to tie it up. Got the inbound to Ellis & he drained another clutch 3 to send the game into OT :P

In OT it went basket for basket & I finally got a stop with less than 3 seconds to go with the scores tied at 118. Ellis was heavily guarded so got it into Stephen Curry, who was in the midst of a tough shooting night, had enough time to get some separation from defender and put up a 3 & nothing but net for the win!!! My first ever close game in 2k11, first OT game, first win on All-Star level, so all good. I actually went down the stretch with a lineup of Curry/Ellis/Amundson/Lee/Udoh (defensive long-armed freak :P ) except for the 3 key big shot moments on offense after a timeout when I went with a 3pt shooting lineup of Curry/Ellis/C.Bell/R.Williams/Lee.

So I'm now 1-1 and have played both games. Who knows, might try to play all/most of them. Since it's offline Association no rush to get through seasons. Monta Ellis is averaging 33ppg through 2 games. Warriors are just so much more fun than the T'wolves.
