Nice story on Smith! Keep going.

Mark. wrote:Yeah Dumars is getting unbearable. That being said, perhaps Toroman turns out OK and this is a bit of an eye opener for Bobby.
Where is Toroman projected again?
EDIT: NIce chapter by the way.

Just a heads up, refs don't blow whistles in the NFL, they throw flagsOtherwise, great write up man, Toroman is obviously delusional when he's trying to string Pistons together with championship

You just need to watch some football, and not Detroit football mind you, real football![]()
Oh and I do hope those Vikings touchdowns were rushing ones, cause there ain't no way in hell Christian Ponder can throw three TDs in one game![]()

As I have said already - Michael Smith is a beast.
Throw the ball anywhere and he will catch it.

DECLARING FOR THE DRAFTWHEN?
You may declare any time before the conclusion of the first round of the Playoffs. You may also withdraw any time before then as well.
I will also allow you to report your intention to declare at any time. This means that I will start writing articles about your player.
HOW?
Post in this thread that you:
- intend to declare, and/or
- will declare
Declaring your intention to join an upcoming Draft class will cost you 1 point.
It will then cost you 2-8 points to enter the draft.
If you withdraw your intention to declare for the Draft, you do not get your 1 point back.
A CHANCE TO EARN POINTS
Every article written by you and PM’ed to me that gets posted will earn points. Give your draftee a backstory and a chance to improve his stock as well.
WHY DECLARE SOONER OR LATER
If you declare sooner, it means your player will make it into the L earlier. However, you may not be as good as a prospect as if you wait and accumulate points. If you declare later, you can have control over whether your player is a first or second round prospect.
Do not be disheartened about being drafted in the second round. The pros are that you can have some choice over your free agency destination/s after just one season! It also makes for a more interesting story.

BREAKING NEWS: Pistons Trade Drummond For Third Pick Bellamy
1 July 2013
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Detroit Pistons and Portland Trailblazers worked hard towards a deal tonight and finally came to an agreement. In an exciting twist, their agreement was too late into Portland’s time to make a decision with their third overall draft pick. The Blazers selected Gonzaga’s Vince Bellamy with the third pick as requested by the Pistons.
Bellamy is now a Detroit Piston. The Pistons have just traded for his draft rights in exchange for Andre Drummond.
Bellamy made a name for himself at Gonzaga as an athletic defender and creative playmaker who was forced into playing point guard for Gonzaga in his sophomore season. Bellamy thrived when he got the call to do so and averaged 7.6 apg to end that season.
The 21 year old guard led Gonzaga to the Sweet Sixteen stage of the NCAA tourney this year in his junior season and finished the year averaging 11.2 PPG, 6.8 APG, 4.3 RPG, and 1.4 SPG. “I am really excited to be a Detroit Piston,” Bellamy said midway through an awkward interview after he was picked by the Blazers and later handed a Pistons cap, “I don’t know what just happened but I think my Blazers career is over.”
The decision to trade away young big man Andre Drummond was a surprising one. Many league observers believed that Joe Dumars had a lot of faith to develop Drummond into an All-Star after much hype in selecting him last season. Drummond played in just 42 games last season and averaged 1.9 PPG, 1.8 RPG in 7.4 MPG.
The Blazers are more than happy with the move and have a view to start Drummond in the frontcourt in the upcoming season pending a successful training camp. It is understood that the Pistons pounced on the opportunity to ask the Blazers to select Bellamy because the 6’6” player was highly touted by the Orlando Magic who held the fourth overall draft pick. Orlando ended up selecting Ukraine’s Alexi Bilous who is also a point guard.
