I don't know if I should do Bobcats. Only with The X's blessing since he made them relevant. :P

As for a title... would be something like Sit's Charlotte Bobcats

You don't need my blessing. The Bobcats now are different to the Bobcats 5 or 6 years back. Completely different. It's not like you're going to be starting Primo Brezec, Emeka Okafor, Gerald Wallace, Keith Bogans & Brevin Knight on opening night. Heck, I even gave Bernard bloomin' Robinson a couple of starts if I recall correctly. Melvin Ely was a key player for my "success"

Well, you know I'm a huge fan of Kwame Brown and Darius Miles. :) Maybe can even bring Adam Morrison back in town.

The more I read about 2K11 the less I'm sure I'll be able to continue my Cavs story once it's out. I'll have to start something completely new. Still, will just focus on getting the rest of this season written up/posted first.

Started a My Player mode with myself. :)

Going into draft combine now.

5'7", 175 lbs, buff dude. All-Around PG.

Played 2 games already. First game finished with 11 points, 1 assists, 6 turnovers. Was a loss... matched up against Eric Bledsloe.

Second game matched up with John Wall. Finished with 8 points, 6 assists. Hit the last second shot to force OT... then we lost in OT.

I'm now a projected second round pick for the Knicks/Heat. Got one game left to change that...

Ok. That's good then. I shall continue playing. :)

Got schooled in my first Summer League game. Being 5'7", I had no chance containing OJ Mayo. :(

2010-11
Started as the Timberwolves and after a pathetic 3rd worse in the league season with them, with the top scorer being Jonny Flynn I managed to get the 1st pick in the 2011 Draft. I drafted a Ukranian Shooting Guard named Anton Bilous who was compared to Kobe Bryant. Easily the best player in the draft with A+ for Offense, Defense and Potential. I like to call him the "Blue Eyed Assassin" because on offense he's got such killer instinct. The Heat won the 'ship this year. LBJ was Finals MVP. LBJ also won MVP.

2011-12
4 of my 5 starters from the previous year improved. Jonny Flynn, Wes Johnson, Kevin Love and Michael Beasley. With Bilous (83) playing SG I played Flynn at PG, Wes at SF, B-Easy at PF and Love at C. Finished the season with the 5th seed in the West and lost to the Spurs in the first round of the playoffs. Bilous had a big game 6 which took the series to game 7. 52 Points, 4 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 4 Steals, 3 Blocks. Bilous had 18.1 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 0.9 APG, 1.7 SPG and 0.9 BPG in his rookie season and lost ROY to Dwight Dixon, the #4 pick from the Memphis Grizzlies whom averaged 18 PPG to go with 9.5 APG. The Thunder won the 'ship this year, Durant was Finals MVP. LBJ won his 4th Season MVP in a row this season.

2012-13
Bilous came back and averaged similar numbers and only increased his stats abit, he and Jonny Flynn make a great backcourt duo. Re-Signed both Love and Beasley. Love was to a reasonable contract where as Beasley's was a bit much, however I knew that he was only 23 so yeah. He's signed for 6 years with 20mill on the 6th year. I put B-Easy through the "Untapped Potential" training camp and his Potential is now 99, so we'll be seeing him in the All-Star game soon I hope. Came 7th in the west and just knocked out the number 2 seed, the Sacramento Kings led by Carmelo Anthony and Tyreke Evans. I'm facing defending champions Oklahoma City in the 2nd round.

This game is really fun, epicly awesome :) Oh and I found it awesome that in the 2011 draft where I drafted Anton Bilous from Ukraine with the #1 pick, there was another player who was 20 years old as well who was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks named Oleksander Bilous who was also from Ukraine. I found that fun and decided to believe that they're twins :P I've been trying to get that SF on to my team but Milwaukee keeps counter offering with me sending them Bilous or Flynn, which just won't happen. Haha

Edit: Great, Jonny Flynn just went to the Spurs instead of re-signing. Search for a PG is on now.

Hi. Decided to go with the Bucks Dynasty. Full season 82games. 9min games. 11min sim. All star level.
k11 so much different from 2k10. Using the same sliders as used in 2k10, nothing else is the same

Roster:
PG A Brooks
SG M.Redd
SF L.Deng
PF D.Gooden
C A. Bogut (now on the injured list)

6th man S.Jackson.(injured)
7 B.Bass
8 N.Batum
9 K.Dooling
10. Mbah Moute
11 P.Brezec
12 C.Budinger

IR M.Carrol
D.Cunningham
M.James

Done some trades, as you can see.
Got A.Brooks and C.Budinger from Rockets for a B.Jennings.
Got L.Deng and 2012 1st round pick from Bulls for a C.Maggette,Jon Brockman and Chris Douglas Roberts.
Got B.Bass from Magic for a C.Delfino and 2011 1st round pick
Got S.Jackson and M.Carrol from Bobcats for E.Boykins,L.Sanders and J.Salmons
Got N.Batum and D.Cunningham for a E.Ilyasova and 2012 1st round pick.

So far 12-12 in the season, could be better but A.Bogut spending more time on the injured list than playing. Last game S.Jackson got injured. More lineup headache for me. So far game of the season was against Magic 85-75,but was leading 71-47 after 3rd.

Just started a 2k11 dynasty with the Rockets. I'm using the PSP. The line-up that I used is the 2k's. I only made some minor signings before I started my Association, like Shaq to Celtics, T-Mac to Detroit.

6 minutes every quarter, all-star or superstar difficulty.

I won my first game against the Lakers, 106-75. I'm in my second game now against the Warriors.

2k10. Year 2024. I had Cavaliers with Living Rosters (the BEST feature at any game that I ever see). I got 5 ring with this team (Lebron in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, Durant in 2020). At 2016, I traded LeBron for a 91 rating young gun Al-Farouq Aminu. Then I sign LeBron again. Soon I send him to Thunder, next year he was with Clippers than retired. 2020: Durant led team to the ring.

2020 Starting Five:

C - R. Gray (generated)
PF - L. Sanders (2011 downloaded draft class)
SF - K. Durant*
SG - E. Riley (generated)*
PG - B. Jennings*

SF - Was Lebron until 2020.
SG - Traded for Hutchinson at 2017.
PG - Traded for Mo Williams at 2017.

See what did I do at 2011:
After team get older, I resigned and signed with Pistons. I eliminated Indiana Pacers at first round as 8th guy, then eliminated to 5th 76ers.

Waferstick, How did you manage to start the association with an edited roster, mine always reset to the default roster before starting.

I'm having a bit of an internal debate at the moment, I've got three ideas for an association story, they fall into two categories;

1: Another created team like my Claws one, bit different though.
2: Starting with a real team like the Cavs one, probably one of the Wizards/Spurs/6ers

Any thoughts/suggestions? The only thing really putting me off doing a Claws-type one is the create-a-team is the same as last year but I can work with that.

IMO, haven't seen a Sixers story for a while... would be nice to see how Turner & Holiday play together :cheeky:

Thinking of Sixers too. Turner is just too good in the game. Wonder how he will play irl.

This is my list for my next story : Sixers, Magic, Spurs and Bobcats.

Jae, You should go with the Pistons. Very nearly chose them myself with the whole destroyed city angle and turrible team. (The pink court and jerseys turned me off)

I'll give them a go later and see how they play. The only thing putting me off about the Sixers is that they've got too many good players (even though they suck in real life). My idea list is pretty much;

Wizards
Spurs (rebuilding after Duncan/Ginobili etc decline/leave)
Sixers
New team created via expansion draft with regular expansion rules
New team created via expansion draft with certain expansion rules that would determine what the entire story is about.

Argh. I'll sleep on it. After I try Detroit out.

Detroit is a very interesting team. They actually have a lot of potential and trading chips, it's just like a team that is not rebuilt yet ... too many players on the same position (Hamilton, Gordon, McGrady - Maxiell, Jerebko, Monroe). But some motown mojo would be nice on this forum.

I always liked your Baltimore Claws. So expansion draft seems always a good decision to me.
