If you get people the option of choosing a red headed pale fan favourite over anybody else, they'll choose the ginger everytime :shake:

Hmm, I changed my vote again. Gerald Green lost a vote from me & I gave it to Dee Brown. Now Kwame is equal 4th

You took it too far man. Gerald Green is my boy and I want him to get a boost. Kwame will get his dues, but only if you give Gerald his spot back. Oh and by the way I just watched the South Park episode with the gingers the other night. The ginger reference made me laugh.

EDIT: I just realized with a 20 point overall boost, the ginger would only be a 64 :facepalm2:

So quick, Someone wants Kwame to succeed. Kwame needs to give you and Dare a call and thank you guys for the blessing he will receive in the NBA video game world. I love it, This is my NBA.

EDIT: I also hope you detected the sarcasm in you taking it too far.

You keep me laughing, that is a plus. It's super close with a few guys on the brink, I might let it keep going.

Shaun Livingston

The Idea - Shaun Livingston
We all feel sorry for athletes every now and then. Recently I felt bad for Ryan Mallet and the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Sugar Bowl against Ohio State. Arkansas wanted Ryan Mallet to have the ball at the end of the game and he did. He ends up throwing the only interception in the game to end their chances of a comeback. How the whole game played out was unbelievable and you can't help but to feel bad for those guys for playing so hard and then coming up short. If you don't know what I'm talking about check out this video. That is a six minute long highlight video on an amazing Sugar Bowl. Now even though I felt bad it wasn't something that actually would make me hurt on the inside.

When I think back in my sports watching history I have only hurt on the inside for a player a handful of times. One of the most memorable moments in which I felt incredibly bad for an athlete would have to be on February 26, 2007. Shaun Livingston and the Los Angeles Clippers were hosting the Charlotte Bobcats. This is a day I know Livingston will never forget. Only a few minutes into the first quarter, Livingston went up for a layup on a breakaway before landing awkwardly on his left leg after missing the layup. What everyone saw next was so bad that news analysts had to warn viewers before showing highlights of the Clipper and Bobcats game. Shaun Livingston obliterated his left knee. He dislocated his left knee cap, tore his ACL, tore his PCL, tore his lateral meniscus, badly sprained his MCL, dislocated his patella, and dislocated his tibia-femoral joint. Shaun Livingston would miss the remainder of the 06-07 season and miss the entire 07-08 season. Livingston was not cleared by his doctors for basketball activities until June 16, 2008. Then as we all know he has had an uphill battle and struggle in the NBA. He has been traded and waived throughout the league, but he recently signed a two year contract with the Charlotte Bobcats, which is coincidentally the same team he suffered his gruesome injury against.

Shaun Livingston showed much promise and many scouts thought he would make a great point guard in the NBA. Livingston is like Magic Johnson in the sense that he is big for his position standings at six feet and seven inches. I will do my small part in making Shaun Livingston an effective point guard once again in the NBA. This is not going to be a poll, this is an automatic boost in overall points. Livingston is currently holding a 60 point overall rating. I have taken the liberty of boosting him up to a 70 point overall rating, making him the highest rated point guard on the Charlotte Bobcats. This gives him the chance to be a starter and prove himself to all the doubters. One of the main ratings boosted for Livingston is the potential rating, so expect him to improve as the years go on. Shaun Livingston I want you to know I want to see you succeed and I will do what I can to see you succeed because This is My NBA.

That is absolutely horrific. I hadn't seen it before, but I had heard about it.

Even worse than the horrible Andrew Bogut one last season (N)

Back on topic, this is a great move. I'm glad you only put him to 70 & are letting potential do the rest (if it does, that's the great thing about potential, he could go either way).

You've got a load of great buildup to this so far, so I really hope you deliver.

Btw, I loved Hawaii when my gf (now my wife) & I went there five years back. Beautiful place & beautiful people.

PS - good to see Kwame back in the hunt. I really hope Gerald Green & Kwame get over the hump & the Ginger Ninja misses out :P

The gnarliest injury I have ever seen. I can't even imagine the pain he was going through. Thanks for the pressure, I'll go deep with this thing and have fun with it and keep it interactive, but I can't promise all those pretty graphics everyone else has. I'm not into the whole photoshop scene. Hawaii is pretty amazing, it would be even better if I weren't in the military. I just went down to Waikiki today and relaxed out on the beach. Gotta get my outdoor time in before surgery. I am letting the vote go through the weekend in hopes of getting Green back in over the "Ginger Ninja" :chug:

Well I'm not everyone and I have no idea who it was. I'm new around here (in a sense). As soon as I posted submit it showed me X's post (Great Feature by the way, is it new?) Anyways, glad to see a Kwame supporter out there. Him and Livingston might be able to give G-Force and S-Jax that help they need to push for a playoff berth.

Would be nice to also see Ammo back on Bobcats (since he's a free agent IRL). Imagine a pumped up Livingston, Ammo & Kwame. Along, with Crash & Captain Jack, that's a playoff team :P

That would be sick. Being a Bobcats fan and an Adam Morrison fan, I was so pumped to see him drafted by them. Then...well we all know what happened after he was drafted.

That's probably what will happen, although the Charlotte idea from X sounds very enticing.

Here's an idea:
BOBCATS:
C- A good Kwame Brown
PF- Gerald Wallace
SF- Jack
SG- A good Ammo
PG- Your Shaun Livingston / DJ Augustin trading minutes

That really is a playoff team!

That injury is just nasty. The fact that the situation was so innocent, no contact whatsoever. He definitely deserves the boost.

This is true, but it would be tough to start an Adam Morrison over a Tyrus Thomas. Morrison would make a great sixth man, maybe we will go with a one year deal with Charlotte and then roll with it after that.

Exactly, hopefully he succeeds in our league.

Just waiting for that one man to come along and vote for Gerald Green seeing as him and Scalabrine are tied with 10 for that last spot.

Go Green! Gnarly injury man, I happened to be watching that game because I'm a Bobcats fan.
