Are you going to try and get Rubio into the game next season? What sliders do you use? I'm a little fed up with the game's poor gameplay. (popped in 2K7 last night - the computer actually played D! Too bad you can't really update the rosters and the graphics are bad)

The retarded defensive A.I., easy PIP, dumb physics and the ice-skating really makes the game frustrating, but not unplayable. They have to fix this.

Are you guys using draft classes? I downloaded Class '10, '11, '12 & '13 from one of the dudes at OS. Rubio doesn't show up '13 I believe.

Rubio would be a nice idea, right now I just think I'm too loaded with quick passing PGs that can't shoot, so I don't need him. But he could help me to get some deals going. For the sliders, I really really raised the bar by putting def awareness and on ball D to 85 and 75 respectively. I also put up playing passing lanes for both, the CPU and me. I simply did not turn over the ball and the CPU did not either. Now with 12 mins a quarter I am around 8 to 15 turnovers per game for the CPU and me. I also notice that creating your own shot is very difficult and you need a star player to do it. On the other hand I still don't like the help defense. On layups it sucks, but when a guy just tries to go for a mid range jumper the help comes and leaves someone wide open.

I may put in all sliders if you want, despite being a lazy fucker at the moment. Maybe tomorrow then

I use draft classes. Its the thing that keeps me playing this game. To get Rubio, I'd just take an unimportant prospect, turn him into Rubio, sign him then edit his ratings to what Rubio's would be.

I use SimSportsSliders. Sometimes I get a good, realistic game, but the game is really about taking it in. I'm playing an exhibition game with New Orleans and Darius Songalia is taking it in and scoring at will. Terrible.

Ye I also find it hard to score by getting good looks. I often rather try to go to the whole with Flynn because I simply can't get off a good shot from mid-range. He has mid range shot at 93 now but it's so hard to create for himself.

When I was using them, I found Jonny Flynn to be an absolute beast. I just cross over the defender and take it to the hole every time like its My player, usually getting a score, assist or foul.

He's definitely a beast when it comes to driving to the hoop, but when he's cold he won't hit anything.

One must simply love the sim engine. The teams that beat me by 30 and have superstars are at 3-5, while the Nets, Craptors etc. are at 5-0. Thats silly.

Right now I am playing the New Orleans Hornets, started this association a week before the patch and simmed games. Now post patch, I've really been enjoying it. I assembled a new team, made a lot of trades in 2009-2010 season:

-traded CP3 for Roy and Oden which the CPU accepted
-traded Okafor and West for Granger and Jeff Foster
-traded Julian Wright for Serge ibaka
-traded Darren Collison, Marcus Thornton and some first round picks to the Golden State Warriors for Steph Curry and Anthony Randolph
-three-team trade with the cavs and raptors netted me a frustrated jamario moon, green, and belinelli

After years of using the Knicks ive decided to use a feel good team

I messed around with a few team mainly the Twolves , Kings and Clippers but decided to roll with Tyreke and the Sacramento Kings !

Iam 8 games in so far and enjoying the rotation of the players on the roster ,they always seem to come and set screens just when you need one and have a great mix of guards and forwards !

My goal is to transform the Kings to there heyday of Webber and J-Will , Win ROY with Tyreke Evans , win Most improved with Carl Landry and maybe get 6th man with either Garcia or Greene.

So far so far good !

So after a 10 game loosing streak at the beginning my Wolves finally won. Against the Lebron-led Knicks. LeBron was quiet in the game though with 27/6/6 whilst Big Al had 37/18 and Flynn added 28/15. Right now I feel like the game is really only about going inside which is so lame. Im messing around with my sliders to get rid of that fact.

The Knicks had Teodosic on the bench but did not use him at all. Duhon was jacking up 13 threes. I hate that game at times.

To be honest the Twolves have a way of making you abuse the post with having Al and Kevin Love and not much in the way of shooters, one thing i found to open up the mid ranch game was to run some of the plays to free up jumpshooters.

Knicks are off to a blazing 7-0 start. Booz is handling his business inside(leading the team with 24.9 ppg), with Mike Miller taking care of things from long range. We're getting solid bench play with the twin towers of Darko Milicic and Eddy Curry, the outside shooting of Danilo Gallinari, the slashing/dunking of J.R. Giddens and heady point guard play from Jason Williams and Sergio Rodriguez. Rookie forward Trevor Booker has done well in limited minutes.

I also started playing around with my knicks again.

Just for something to play in my spare time so that i dont abuse and burn out my kings season i simmed the 09-10 season in which id already swapped my 1st round draft pick with the kings 2nd rounder to keep it realistic.

Surprise Surprise none of major FA's left there teams in the off season so i went a different route.

Drafted *Larry Saunders* with the 1st pick of the 2nd round which was a steal then later on i drafted *Jerome Jordan* with my 2nd pick.

I resigned Sergio and David Lee then managed to secure the services of *Joe Johnson* and *Marcus Camby* via free agency.

My starting lineup look like ...

Played a couple of the pre season games and really enjoying it only problem is that ive noticed that all the rookies on other teams i.e 1st pick John Wall to the Nets only playing like 5 minutes per game!!

Ive looked around and pretty much all the rooks are playing that many minutes

Anyone know the reason why ?

Ok, with the Jazz going, I'm simming the 2009-10 season like I did with the Pacers. Who should stay: Boozer or Millsap? Comments please.

The Lakers offered me Odom and Josh Powell for Millsap in a controlled sim before and I'm planning to offer it myself now, but I think Millsap might do better in the long term. If I trade Boozer I'll have to rework the deal..

Booze is a monster in mine but its gonna take alot of cash to keep him. Since you like rebuilding: i'd go with keeping millsap and trade boozer for another big name in hopes of luring a contract maybe?

started a new raptors association. simmed the first 20 games, and then made some trades. right now my tight 10-man rotation loooks like this:

had a really good 4 game stretch during March. first i was against the sixers, won by a game winning jumper by Calderon with 3 seconds left. 94-92. Then got blown out by the Lakers, 107-93. Then won against the Sacramento Kings, 80-79, with a comeback fourth quarter. Then I won against the Golden State warriors 106-104, in a tight 4th quarter, led by as much as 8 then wasted the lead. Parker had like 7 assists in the first and finished the game with 13. Difficulty is Superstar. Roster and sliders by Alby's

I've been playing a Bucks association which is pretty fun, Jennings is awesome to use because he can hit the pull-up mid range J. I've just had a pretty cool idea for a new association story though so now I just have to work out in my head whether I've got time to do it and make it decent before I follow through.

Pretty much put it on the to-do list. With the NBA season over it'd probably be smart to wait until a couple weeks after the draft when teams have made their signings and stuff. It wouldn't impact my idea too much but I'd rather play against the Knicks with Boozer and Johnson and whoever than their current team.

Yeah i think im waiting till post draft for my next assoc. myself so i can have the rookies. At this point the NBA could be completely different by the end of the offseason so its worth pondering ideas and then deciding when its semi-set.
