so been doing a bulls one playing no games but playoffs...took me about 3 years to get to the championship and win. Derek Rose rated 99 and a 97 Lamarcus aldridge i picked up in the 2010 shit storm leading my team to the best record, number 1 seed, CoY, EoY and all sorts of other honors...

Just started a new association with Charlotte
After a few trades here's my lineup:

Starters
PG-D.J. Augustin
SG-S.Jackson
SF-G.Wallace
PF-Kurt Thomas
C-S. O'neal

Bench
L.Ridnour
G.Henderson
D.Blair
M.Finley
F.Murray
M.Bonner
A.Law
A.Ajinca

I'm 2-4 right now. Really struggled against the Nets with D.Harris shooting and assists. J.Hayes killed me with all the open shots that he hit. But the trades getting Thomas and O'Neal is helping a lot. The original bigs that I had just weren't doing it for me. At first Henderson couldn't get any playing time, but now since trimming my roster, I discovered he's actually a decent player.

Prob wont start one for a few weeks. (Y) Enjoying time off from association making

But yeah, a Sit association is coming. I won't be starting a hype thread though... would love the extra views/replies but not gonna do that. I will keep the hype in this thread.

When I fire up my College Hoops 2k8 Legacy with the Nittany Lions, I was just wondering if people wanted me to go back & use '07/08 rosters (i.e. Rose, Beasley, etc) or '09/10 roster (i.e. Turner, Wall, Johnson etc). I'm not too concerned either way, but had been leaning towards the latter.

Don't forget Sit.

I never forget about Dre. And heck, if I have a son IRL, he's going to hit my legacy in the 2028/29 season but he'll have PG skills (unlike me) to go along with a good outside shooting touch :P

You didn't answer the question, old rosters or new?

I regret trading in NBA2k8 (NTSC version) now. I traded in 3 old games to get NBA2k10 for free & 2k8 was one of them. I guess I was never going to play NBA 2k8 again, I just couldn't get into that game, CH2k8 (or NBA2k8.5 with college teams/experience etc) shat on it in so many ways. NBA 2k8's import draft feature wasn't tuned very well & you'd have guys like Beasley & Rose going early 2nd Round despite being absolute studs in the college game.

But yes, I think I have found a spreadsheet formula (courtesy of OS' Jukeman) to transfer players from CH2k8 to NBA2k10. Maybe that is the answer. Who knows? Ponderance indeed.

Actually now that've I've talked it out, I made right call trading in NBA2k8

Do a sim and see if 2k8 players can go to 2k10... also the Beasley/Rose going in 2nd round might help me getting pick 1st :)

You can't import draft classes into 2k10, I'd have to manually enter them, very time consuming. I don't have NBA2k8 anymore so that rules out importing draft classes.

The new association should be starting over the weekend. If not, it will be starting early next week! :)

New York Knicks roster, Year 4(2012-13)

Starters:
PG/SG - Nate Robinson - 88
SG/SF - Wilson Chandler - 82
SF/PF - Trevor Booker - 70
PF/C - David Lee - 87
C - Eddy Curry - 75

Bench:
PG/SG - Toney Douglas - 77
SG/PG - Evan Turner - 80
SF/PF/SG - Danilo Gallinari - 68
PF/C - Jordan Hill - 72
SF/PF/C - Jared Jeffries - 70
C - Ralph Sampson III - 58(rookie-Minnesota)
SG/SF - C.J. Williams - 57(rookie-N.C. State)

Reserves:
PF/SF - Mamadou Samb - 60
SF/PF - Herb Pope - 59(sent to D-League)

After a lousy Year 1, Knicks have developed into one of the NBA's best teams, with a championship already under their belt. They're led by the three-guard tandem of Nate the Great, Chandler and Evan 'E.T.' Turner. David Lee and Trevor Booker eat rebounds for breakfast, and Eddy Curry is money near the basket.

Knicks bring a lot of versality off the bench - Turner's instant offense, Douglas' smooth play-making, Gallo's outside shooting, Hill's power game and Jeffries' solid defense/rebounding. It'll be tough finding time for promising rookies Sampson and Williams.

Check my custom title.

Makes sense, everything I say should be fresh.

I'm surprised you've won a title with that team Jeffx. I like Lee, Turner, Chandler, Gallinari but it doesn't look anything more than a playoff-level team.

Have you thought about start Turner at SG & sliding Chandler to starting SF?

Was bored and decided to do a sim season with Indiana. Completely revamped the team with unrealistic moves that the CPU nonetheless accepted. I posted some highlights in a Notepad file that got bigger and bigger. Here is season 1:

- My first deal sent Tyler Hansbrough to the Clippers for a first-rounder and Mardy Collins
- Then I swapped TJ Ford for expiring Marcus Camby (Y)
- In a big three-team trade I got Louis Williams from the Rockets (who got him for Ariza) for Brandon Rush, my first-rounder, Dahntay Jones and Earl Watson. (Spurs sent Manu and Jefferson to the Rockets for McGrady's expiring, and also got Rush) (Y) Even trade actually.
- Final trade before the deadline sent now-backup PF Troy Murphy, Rookie PG AJ Price and then starting SG Mike Dunleavy for Ray Allen and Brian Scalabrine :P

I made all those deals over the course of the first half of the season, all modified offers from the CPU. Somehow, my team's chemistry survived, and they got off to a bizarre 28-13 start. Danny Granger made the ASG. However, things went downhill from there as they lost 4 straight games, and ended the season with a good, but not great 47-35. LeBron was MVP, Tyreke ROY, Adelman COY, etc, and Granger made All-NBA third team. In the Leastern Conference however, this was good for the 3rd seed. I also had a surprisingly decent starting five, though my key reserves were Luther Head, Brian Scalabrine, Mardy Collins and Travis Diener.
Starting Five: Louis Williams | Ray Allen | Danny Granger | Marcus Camby | Roy Hibbert :applaud:

Thanks to Granger's career high 50 points in game 1, and 37.5 PPG during the series, we swept the #6 Bulls (45-37). Sadly, the #7 Magic, fresh off a sweep of the #2 Celtics, beat us in 5 games. They were subsequently beaten by the Nets (who beat the #1 Hawks and #5 Cavs in the first and second rounds respectively ) in 5, who met the Rockets (with a healthy Yao) in the finals. The Nets almost won the title (WTF), but the Rockets overcame a 3-2 deficit to win in 7.

The championship starting 5: Aaron Brooks | Manu Ginobili | Richard Jefferson | Ersan Ilyasova | Yao Ming :applaud:

Coming Up Next: The offseason. With a lottery pick from the Clippers and 30 million in cap, can the Pacers become contenders?

Also playing with Indiana. I waived Ford, Murphy, Rush. Dahntay Jones is freaking amazing

Re: The "How is your Association going" Thread

I don't play with them. Hideous court and unlikable team. Was kinda fun to rebuild. Anyway, the offseason was very lucrative for the Pacers. Drafting two high-quality rookies projected top 5 irl, shoring up the bench and signing an all-star.

OFFSEASON

- Ben Wallace, Grant Hill, Derek Fisher, Sean Marks and Juwan Howard headline retirees
- NBA champion and coach of the year Rick Adelman retires
- Brian Scalabrine and Mardy Collins are resigned to 1 year minimum contracts.
- Ray Allen is resigned for a 2 year, 11 million dollar deal with the second year a team option
- Camby and Diener pursue free agency
- The Clippers had the third worst record, but we own their pick. It ends up falling to fifth. I sent Luther Head, Solomon Jones and the #52 pick to the Rockets for my 22nd pick back.
- I draft Evan Turner 5th and (thanks to the outdated draft download) Wesley Johnson 22nd.

With my top rated PF being Josh McRoberts, I needed a PF. I signed Carlos Boozer to a 4 year, 75 million dollar contract, which was necessary to outbid the other teams. I signed Shelden Williams and Steve Blake to 2 year, 4 million dollar contracts. With my remaining cap, I signed Darko Milicic to a front-loaded 6 year, 8 million dollar contract.

Depth Chart:
Hibbert/Milicic/Foster
Boozer/Shelden Williams
Granger/Wesley Johnson/Scalabrine
Ray Allen/Evan Turner
Lou Williams/Blake
IR: Mardy Collins, Josh McRoberts
