Washington Wizards (12-9) at Charlotte Bobcats (9-7) at 7:00pm est - Away Team Box Score - Home Team Box Score
THE STORYLINE: It hasn't been a great past month for the Wizards, this past week the team and especially the coach came underfire from the Washington Media, Wall rebounded giving one of his best performences of the season.
WHAT WE SAW:
Battle of Kentucky: John Wall came into the game averaging 19.6 points per game and 15.5 assists per game, Wall against Brandon Knight a heavily hyped rookie from Kentucky couldn't stop Wall who recorded 29 points (11 of 23) and 18 assists, he also recorded 5 steals. Knight also had a good game, recording 25 points (11 of 18) after having a poor first half, Knight also recorded 7 assists but did turn the ball over 6 times in the loss.
The Wizards better this year despite record: The Wizards have suffered at times a championship hangover, but a line that boasts Wall, Lewis, DeRozan, Iverson, Howard and Blatche is one that can be cheerful, they might not have the best line in the NBA, but all are unselfish and especially Wall want to see the team win, not his stats padding for awards.
John Wall was named for the third consecutive time this season, the East's player of the month. He also won the player of the week for a third consecutive time, and four times in five weeks.
Brandon Knight has won the East's rookie of the year award three consecutive month's straight. Both are looking to sweep the six months this season.

Perfection: It wasn't perfection, perfection, but DeMar DeRozan had a quality game, recording 20 points and shooitng 9 of 10 on field goals, Wall recorded 18 points and 14 assists although he played sparsely in his 16 minutes.

Buck'd: Brandon Jennings had his worst game of his career, Jennings shot 5 of 21 for 15 points, did record 11 assists and 5 rebounds but turned the ball over a career high 15 times.

WHAT WE SAW:
Griffin Beast Mode: Blake Griffin showed why he was the #1 overall draft pick in 2009, Blake recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds, he hit 7 of his 10 field goals and outplayed the #1 overall draft pick in 2010 by quite some distance.
Blown Lead: The Wizards blew a nice lead in the second quarter, and was held to just 9 points in that perioid, the Wizards defense hasn't shown up all year until recently, but when they do show up, the offense doesn't.

Perfect Pointers: Cartier Martin went 4 of 4 on three pointers to give him 12 points, John Wall hit 10 of 19 field goals for 22 points and added 15 assists into one of the highest scoring games the Wizards have been in this season.
Parker Unstoppable: In a losing effort, Tony Parker played solid. Parker hit 12 of 21 field goals for 36 points, added 5 boards and recorded 12 assists, if the Spurs defense had managed to contain the Wizards offense, his effort may of gone more noticed.
