That's quite a team! The bench is pretty decent as well..

i didnt really keep track of what pick i was. I think i was middle to late middle. Yao got hurt in the 1st quarter of my 4th game (its just like real life!) but aldridge stepped up and dropped 41 and iverson put up 28 for me...recementing his star status.

I'm just surprised that you got a really good crop like that from the fantasy draft, usually I can get 3 players before I have to end up selecting average players which means that my bench has no depth whatsoever.

winning again with aldridge averaging about 36 ppg and iverson b/w 20 and 25. Outlaw and Butler have stepped up giving double digit points (especially in the 4th quarter) nightly and the surprise is Luther head dropping 14 in 10 minutes of play...awwesome...have hedo on the block cuz i never use him...i run everything through the post and iverson..he just gets points on boards or on fast breaks (rarely because iverson is so much faster)

ended up winning the championship pretty easily with iverson as league mvp and Yao finals mvp...then i realized what happens when you get a ridiculous fantasy team...you have no cap room the next year: lost aldridge and i think frye and someone else...couldnt even sign any replacements or my rookies since i had so little cap room. Outlaw and Noah both want out...man what a way to repay a championship season!

I did not know where to put this in, but I also did not want to make a new thread.

Just some little things.

As the D-leaguers are very high rated in 2k10 (some above 60), it is better to take the time and edit them so that they are in the high 40ies and low 50ies. Otherwise the other teams will pick up stupid generated D-leaguers instead of really existing FA scrubs.

If you want guys like Chris Bosh, Amare or Wade leaving and they just do not leave even though their teams sucks, you should change their role to benchwarmer and their personality to unpredictable. If you make that a month before the offseason it can happen that they are very pissed with the situation and leave their teams.

And if you feel like the sim stats suck (Bosh leading rebounds etc), you always have to take a look at the team as a whole. Like the Raptors have many guys with their rebounding at 30, so Bosh grabs every board in simmed games. Or the Hornets do not have enough guys with a high shot tendency, thus CP3 does not get many assists and averages about 24 points per game. Rebounding at 25 or 30 is a problem anyway since the players get about 0.8 boards per game which is unrealistic anyway.

Just some clues I read over at OS. Cheers guys.

Big game by Pops. This guy has such a great athleticism. But how do you score 19 with him? I mean, only inside buckets?

Have a side association with the Clippers. Made two deals: the first being Al Thornton and a second rounder for Jerryd Bayless, and the second Telfair, Craig Smith and a 2nd for Ilyasova and Ukic. Simmed to today, and as luck would have it, I'm 11-14 like the real Clippers. Playing Philly now. My lineup looks like:

Kaman/Deandre Jordan/Camby
Camby/Ilyasova/Novak/Blake Griffin
Rasual Butler/Ricky Davis/Novak
Eric Gordon/Bayless/Ricky Davis
Baron Davis/Jerryd Bayless/Ukic

Simming games I don't care about, and keeping Blake out until January like real life.

Bayless is your guy right now, isn't he? I do not really like the SF and SG situation with Thornton being shipped. He is not very effective, but in the game you can rule him down and play decent D with him. Rasual Butler is okay, but the rest?

I'm keen :cheeky: to redeem the Pistons 06 dynasty and start a new one. I currently have one ongoing for personal use, however; I don't want to do one with the same team. Team choice has me completely puzzled, any ideas - I'm looking at something original, maybe one or two trades near mid-season (depending on team choice) and not really fussed whether or not they're an immediate contender?
NB: I will be doing it on 2k10 - Most probably 12minute quarters - 82 game seasons.

Hell yeah. Great idea. But how about a little sidekick from the story, Rocky Akonnor. He never got the attention and still has some talent.

Actually, yeah. That's a really good idea. Because Rocky was supposed to be a big part but he isn't because he's not good enough on the NBA stage... however, if I do a My Player story, it could be with someone from ALIB... I have had mentions of other characters. Definitely a great possibility.

Starters
PG-J.Calderon
SG-K.Martin
SF-K.Durant
PF-J.Smith
C-M.Gasol

Bench
J.R.Smith
J.Tinsley
J.Noah
James Johnson
S.Pavlovic
Q.Douby

That's a good team, though I don't like Calderon in this game at all (maybe I just can't figure out his jumper.) I don't like that you traded Rose, but it was probably in the Durant deal so I can't blame you for that.

I changed jose jump shot for the John Salmons one.The trade of Rose was a 3 team trade:
Bulls received K.Durant, M.Conley(after traded for Calderon)
Thunder received O.J. Mayo, Z.Randolph, D.Rose, 1º pick 2010 of Grizzlies
Grizzlies received R.Westbrook, K.Hinrich, J.Green

So I'm considering doing a non-Fantasy draft association but I can't decide what real team to use. I started one with denver, but with melo and chauncey its almost too easy. Im using as up to date rosters for 2k9 as i could find. Also ignoring real life injuries
Possbilities:
1.Denver
As I said, I like this team, chauncey is awesome and i like the having to use my guards and sf instead of my post players all the time in my fantasy drafts. But its almost too easy.
2. Phoenix
Steve Nash is the only reason I consider this one.
3. Da Bulls
I like them but i suck with them...badly...dont know if this is the team or my playstyle
4. Bucks
Just for something different
5. Jazz
Deron Williams
6. Thunder
Just the fact of hwo young they are.

Suggestions from anyone who's played through associations with them? I tend to be a heavy post player using guards solely when they start double teaming the post. I really want to find a team i like to play through more than 1 season with.
