Traded Ridnour for JJ Barea in 2k9 today. That kid is fast as anything...it works out since i like to run and gun. Jefferson had his 1st off game of the season for me and David Lee stepped up and owned rashard lewis as dwight had a block party against Jefferson...Still won by alot but it was a bigger struggle than I was expecting. Stephen Curry has been pretty useless aside from every few games, considering trading him.

Started a Raptors association, made some trades

PG- Andre Miller/Jack/Douby
SG- DeRozan/Belinelli
SF-Prince/Webster
PF- Bosh/Reggie Evans/Amir Johnson
C- Oden/Hibbert/Nesterovic/O Bryant

DeRozan is amazing

If I was to do an fantasy draft association with a full run down of every team in the league so you knew where everyone was, and plus taking in all suggestions possible, would you guys read it/follow it?

Was expecting that to be honest, I can understand how the pure lack of realism just turns people away.

I'd actually follow it. I find fantasy drafts waaay more interesting than the realistic type deals. I can't even play out a season with real roster, it just kinda bores me.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and say that if I have one vote for it, then I'll give it a shot. If it fails, then it's no big deal, I can just create an association with another team. :)

Cheers Keaf.

If you do a Fantasy Draft, maybe you could write a story about why there was a Fantasy Draft??

I was thinking about the De8, but when it comes to trying to make a Fantasy Draft sound realistic I think my creating writing ability doesn't cut it, I don't have any ideas about how to make it work, but I'm away all weekend with nothing to do but sit in a hotel room, so I'll have plenty of time to think it over.

Thanks for the reply. :)

I'd follow a fantasy draft as i think...

I'm doing a Blazers Association 5 games into season 3-2 .. haven't made any changes yet so there's no need to list my roster. Roy average 30 points per game :)

Currently playing Spurs and winning by double digits in 3rd quarter

Re: The "How is your Association going" Thread

Started another association little while ago with the Suns on NBA 2k9. On purpose I decided to do it extremely unrealistic as I just wanted to see how two elite stars would play together(LeBron-Wade or LeBron-Bryant). So after some a lot of trading, I didn't manage to get both of them. At first I only got LeBron, so decided to aim them during the FA, but didn't succeed. I had a lot of cap space for the each offseasons so far, so I had some other stars in my team as well, but don't remember who they were. Ultimately changed the aim of this and decided to add NLSC players into it, I think there are up to 65 players there, so they would form an entire draft class. Andrew, Jackal, Shadow, Jae and JaoSming were on top of the class, then coming the rest of the guys. Although there are quite a lot of people, who aren't active anymore(like Shannon and Tuomas). So anyway I'm in the 11/12 season(rookie year for the NLSC group), off to a 1-2 start.

Here is my current lineup:

C: Dirk Nowitzki (has regressed a little, but still great)
PF: Gerald Wallace (developed into a superstar)
SF: LeBron James
SG: Grant Hill (extremely cheap, but still great)
PG: Adrian Snow (09 1st rounder, looks quite a lot like Raja Bell, overall great guy)

6: The X (Starter material, but to get 6th man award will be here for this season, a great steal for the 18th pick, is already I think 4th best player rating wise in his class, but has very low ceiling, I love using him, actually overusing him, this has caused some rookie mistakes)
7: McDyess
8: Tuomas (NLSC player)
9: Dampier
10: Nazr Mohammed
11: Finley
12: Ty-land (awful passing ability for a point guard)

IR(I signed these NLSC players just so they could hold a place in some teams):
Donatello (hasn't dressed up yet)
Shannon (has played some, made couple impressive plays)
Clutch (same as Donatello)

Another thing to mention that I don't know how to use much of LeBron, so I don't use him a lot. Kind of like a role player in this team. Anyway my latest game was against OKC, I just finished it 5 minutes ago, but I have absoulutely no idea what happened there except the last 15 seconds. The X missed 2 FT about 11 secs to go, when we were up by 3, then Durant tied 6 seconds to go, but The X made up those missed FT and hit a game winning 3 pointer. There is something else I wanted to say, but I forgot. Honey is good. This is very bizarre.

Won the championship. McGrady, Lowry, Pops and Scola moved on. Got Tayler and Peacock whom I do not know, but we won our first game in the second season against the magic easier than it was defeating them in the finals. Should be another fun season.

Nice!! 4 players retiring in a single year?! That's a lot.

Funny how you can beat Orlando easier without McGrady rather than with him, have fun with your second season.

You're already in, I think you play for the Bobcats and I remember that you had 5 assists and not so sure, 2 steals in your debut, but couldn't make a point.

Doing a run down of every team for my association is taking a lot more effort than expected, but I want to make sure that everything looks good so it appeals to people. :) I wish I had Thierry's creative talent.
