I'm gonna start a new one with Memphis this afternoon and I'm freakin' serious here: my last attempt at a successful story. And I won't care about the replies, believe it or not. I just want to have played at least 25 games, that would be a record. Just... lock this. Not in the best mood right now.

Checked last night and this Memphis one would be my 33° attempt.

It has a two and a zero, close enough TheDee. We have a winnah!

Like those crazy japanese game shows. Despite the insane rules and theme, you watch it just to see how long the contestants last and endure.

For me, I always liked Thierry's presentations. It's obvious that he puts effort into it (maybe that's the reason for the numerous 'Thierrys', early burnout). The way he presents it somehow gives you a feel of where he wants to go with it, but like all of his stories it ends abruptly.
If Thierry's stories were a woman, they would all be a cock tease.

always wanted to use this smilie:

interesting wording since "last attempt at a successful story" might imply you have full immunity to keep making theses always-promising-but-never-realized burnout stories!

Even though I haven't been too active on this forum for the past few weeks, I still did follow your Jazz story along with this one. All I can tell you is don't rush your Grizzlies association, and try to limit yourself to two or three games a week. The same goes for the recaps. Just try not to overdo it man, and you shouldn't get bored very easily. In fact, don't even start your Memphis one until Monday. You're already rushing yourself into doing it. You should also try to change the difficulty and sliders a bit, because you seem to win almost all of your games.

Can't agree with you more, shadow. IMO, I can't go with just text stories (that doesn't mean I don't like them, Andrew and Sit are perfect examples), I have to add some images to it or I won't like it.

Really, never used it before? Well yeah, that wording isn't promising.

You mean I post two or three games a week? I tried to that before with "Uprise" (Blazers), so that's the direction I'm gonna go, with the blog, Twitter, articles... that was my favourite layout of all. And yep, I'll also change difficulty and sliders a little, I need to keep realism and see Memphis around .500 if the season ends.

In fact, the 33° story would be the Grizz. So you are already adding me another failure! And that's the most probable if I continue like this, so, everything's cool (for now). :)

Just a little suggestion Thierry - play with more difficult sliders and in hall fame level. I would suggest albys sliders, but not in all-star difficulty, but hall of fame. That would be a very good challenge. I had the same problem with you, thanks god I haven't posted these association stories in internet. Anyway I realised that the problem for me was the difficulty of games. I needed a challenge. Where the game is still realistic, but it's very difficult to win. It worked for me. The association feels a lot more interesting when you are having difficulty to win.

Good luck with the Grizzlies! (Y)

LOL

Iam hardly one to talk but Thierry. must be the best 1st week of a chise poster ive ever seen !

I actually like the Gizz idea its sort of alone the line of the Sixers i suggested meaning its a struggle as long as in week one you dont bring in John Wall ,Wade and Bosh to play alone your current stars !

Good Luck either way bro !

Can you do the Knicks next please ??

Thanks for the advice man, that's what I'll do. I'm gonna search for Albys sliders then. As I said, I need to keep the team around .500...

Really? Didn't like that layout. Nah, won't put Wall, Wade, Bosh all together  Mayo, Gay, Conley I want them to stay, I'll try to trade Randolph.

I'll do the Knicks if the Grizz fail. So, I won't do them. Ha!
