Knowing the Rookies
"Time to meet and great the rookies for this season as the Draft started the 76ers were left with the 19th and the 49th draft. The new add of A.Kwok of a undrafted last month was a bet of the coach on getting new legs for this team."

Scot Lake
ImageImage
Image
"Been the 19th pick of the 76ers Scot Lake has much to show but since the Draft things didnt work out. He was quickly put into the starting five but as soon as his numbers whent down he was removed for Korver a older SF. Comming from the bench wasn´t what Lake was hopping but he will try to take his place back. He has some good rebound abilities but he lacks to get the baskets."

Nazh Hammonds
ImageImage
Image
"With only 13 games played he scored less than 1 point per game not beeing the kind of quick point guard that this coach want he was left in the bench for a long time. Allen Iverson said that he will teach the rookie to prepare for the NBA. The coach hopes he can re join the team soon. With some training he will be ready to play against the Pistons next week."

Andrew "AK Wok" Kwok
ImageImage
Image
"The undrafted player is playing at high level in only 8 games he is averaging 5.8 points with 1.1 rebounds. He also is shooting like a drafted player (or best) with .426 FG% and .308 3PT. Last game we was able to scored 20 points against the Hawks in the last minutes. This was a player miss by every scout but the 76ers is lucky to have him in their roster. He didnt played at any School he was a street player in Australia for 5 years after that he play in the streets of Detroit for 2 more when he hope to be draft but the call didnt came."

"The 76ers closed a perfect 9-10 week as they won the 6 games and are now on a 10-0 record. They are the 2nd best team on the East and hope to keep the good energy. During this last week the team face some great teams such as Detroit and LA.Lakers but they also battle against the worst of the NBA like Atlanta who is not playing good this last month. In this last weeks Howard took the main role and help the 76ers in getting the wins. He was the key player in 5 of the 6 games played in which he scored more than 20 points and got more than 10 rebounds. The strong presence of Howard and Dalembert gave the advantage in all the games. Also the bench player such as Haslem and Jackson was a substitution of these two. Another big hit for this team was the sign of a new Rookie A.Kwok who show his real level of play. As an undrafted player the coach hesitate on giving minutes to this Rookie but quickly the doubts where put away. This player has what its need to be playing in this league. He also stoped LeBron James for a whole Half under .200 FG%. The bench is still getting the things done when the starting player fail to score or stop an opponenet. The team really display a well oiled offence and a solid defence specialy in the last games. The game played in Utah was key to keep the good energy as they stoped the Jazz at 76 points for the first time in this season. In the game played in Atlanta was a similar situation as the Hawks were getting the things done in the 3rd quarter the coach made some moves to close the game early in the last quarter. The add of the A.Kwok was key to win the game as he score 18 in the last quarter to put the game on the books. A player that did almost the same thing was Eddie House against the LA Lakers as he was able to score the last FT to put the game out of reach. Eddie House was 9-10 from the FT. The team hope this good level of play continue to be tie the most straight games won in this season the Sacramento Kings have that record with 11 games without lossing. ."

UPs & DOWNs
(N) : The Turnovers are a mayor problem to the Team as they are getting more turnovers.
(N) : Allen Iverson is not having a good week as his numbers are getting lower.
(N) : The injury of Brian Skinner left a open gap in the roster of the 7e6rs.
(Y) : The 76ers are with a perfect record of 10 straight games.
(Y) : Good news for the new Rookie A.Kwok as he is getting more minutes.
(Y) : The 76ers defence has been great this week. They managed to stop the Utah Jazz under 80 points for the first time in this season.

"The 76ers show once again that they are the true champions of this league they are play excelent and came with a 6-0 record this last two weeks for a total of 30-7 record. They are with getting their 8 game win in arole and on the road they got a impresive 11 games in arole. They are far from the 33 straight win by the LA LAkers of the 1972 but they are near the record of the Longest road winning streak by LA Lakers in the same year wich is 16 games. THe 76ers did a great job to stop A.Walker in the game against the Hawks they answered with a team efford as they keep the other players from producing and start to rotate the ball on the other side of the court. As a surprise the new Rookie A.Kwok was able to scored 23 points been the man that was leading the team to a win. The game agains the Detroit was spected to be one of the best as the wining team would get the 1st place in the Eastern Conference. With a quick start and getting Rasheed into foul trouble the 76ers where able to get the upper hand on this important game. Although the Pistons started to heat up and came rolling in the second quarter to take game back but just as the ball roll in the 3rd quarter the 76ers make a significant run of 11-0 to finished the quarter up During the last quarter it was interesting the mix of plays this team can get when the ball is shared with Howard in the paint and a great shooter outside the 76ers where able to get the game. The game against the BUlls was the game this coach was specting as they present the most dominant team to take down the inside defence of the 76ers. As soon as the game started the Bulls realized that if they wanted the game in their favor they must take advanteged in the paint and they did out scoring the 76ers in the first three quarters but before the game was closed the 76ers make a great efford on the defence and could scored getting the game on the road scoring more than .600FG% they shock Chicago with a great comeback. The 76ers knew that Boston Wasn´t a real match to their team as they won the first 3 games against the Celtics but one more had to be played. They 76ers got their first victory over the Celtcis by 12 points the second by 20 points the third by onyl 8 points but this series was going to be closed in a very particular way. As the 76ers walked on the arena a full crawd was booing them but they keep focus on one thing finished the series to Bostons in a big way. After a good first quarter the 76ers were able to get a lot of fouls out of the Celtics but they could scored donw the stretch. But after a quick chat with the coach they came firing in the 3rd quarter. With a 10-0 run as the quarter was starting they shocked the defence of the Celtics but things where just started to heat. Kyle Korver was able to scored big as the ball moving and the 76ers came with a 18 point lead as the first half ended. Kyle Korver already had 31 points. In the 3rd quarter the team was more focus on forcing the ball rather than scoring wich was great as they keep a 15 point lead donw the end of the 3rd quarter. With only 5 minutes left into the last quarter the Celtics realized that this game was on the books as the 76ers had a doble digit lead. Kyle Korver set an NBA Record for most 3TP scored in one game with 13-19 his is now in the books of the NBA shooting for a .684 3TP% and a great .714FG% he was the key to this victory. In the second quarter the 76ers scored a impresive 72FG% while the Celtics were at a 45FG%. For the last game in the 12th Week the 76ers face one of the worst teams in the West the Washington Wizards. But the coach was doubtful small teams temp to complicate big teams. The first game on the road the 76ers pick to play with the 1982-1983 jersey now this wasn´t just for chanching colors with this jerseys the team in 1993 got an NBA Championship agains LA Lakers (4-0 run). After a poor first half the 76ers were up by only 3 points but after some changes the 76ers were able to outscore the Wizards on their own Arena. Forcing the ball the 76ers came once again in command of the game. Also once again Kyle Korver was able to scored from the 3PT line at his will. Coming with a great 27 points for ending the 3rd quarter. The 76ers where in total command as they got a 22 point before the last quarter started. The key?? Well stoping the Wizards by playing good D and scoring big on the other side of the court. With only 4 minutes played in the last quarter the 76ers were able to get 7 rebounds 6 of them were offensive rebounds. Before the Wizards could do any changes the 76ers deliver the know out for the big win on the road. Coming back home the 76ers knew that they must stop the inside plays if they wanted to finished good the week. But things got ugly for them as the Wizards since unstoppable in the first half. THe 76ers were up only by 2 points and things look gray to the end of the game. It wasn´t until the last quarter where the 76ers build a confortable 10 point lead that they got the game. The key to get the tought win was the points comming from the FT line as they scored 18 points. With a straight 16 wins they climb to the top this last weeks to be the best team on the Legue. One last thing to underline the 76ers are getting the games because only one thing as simple as it sound when they are attacking and forcing turnovers they take the game when the bench steps up and slows the flow of the game the opponents can get the game back. It´s going to be key for the coach to mix the players well as the starting five are on the bench. Also Nelson has to play better and become faster if he wishes to stay in Philly."
NOTE: Wow thats the longest review I made please read..jejej

UPs & DOWNs
(N) : This last weeks some trouble regarding the bench took mayor importance as the bench was less productive when more than 3 players are changed in the games the coach needs to find out a balance strategy to put the bench in the game but not changed the flow of the game dramaticaly.
(N) : Stil the FT % are a thing that worries the coach as the 76ers are the worst team shooting from that area.
(N) : J.Nelson is not the kind of Point Guard that this team needs they are use to play quick drives to the paint something that Nelson can not provide.
(Y) : The team is getting more Offensive Rebounds setting the tone for the game.
(Y) : Can this 76ers brake or tie the Bulls record of 72-10?
(Y) : Kyle Korver set a new NBA RECORD for most 3TP scored in one game with 13-19 from the 3TP line he is making history. Some time ago this same team was thinking of trading this young start to get a more powerfull SF. Things just turn round for them.

"The 76ers finished the Month with the best record they got a perfect 16-0 entering the NBA book records as the most wins in a month (January). Also they are in a perfect 22-0 record been the best team on both coast. They have found the way to stay in the positive side and manage to play great on their home and on the road. The Coach had found the way to make this team work at high speed. With some great offensive side and a tough defence the 76ers are to be consider one of the best team in the NBA. During this last month the key point to get the eazy win was the great 3PT%. With Kyle Korver the best shooter from outside they 76ers were able to get a great advantage over their oppenents. They still have some inside problems but with the add of Howard and the help from the bench by Udonis Haslem the team is more secure in the defensive side. With one trophy last year the team hopes they can get a second this season."

Re: PHI (36-7)-January Review...22 straight Wins!!

Half of the season review
| 04-05 Record | (26-15) .634
| 05-06 Record | (36-7) .878

"There is not doubt that the 76ers are playing at high level but how good is this team? Can this be the best team in the Philadelphia 76ers Franchise? Well let find out. This season the 76ers lost an important player in the paint. The exit of Dikembe Mutombo let a big question regarding the inside defence. On the off-season games the 76ers finished with a positive record of 3-1. But as the season 05-06 started the team had some dificulties stay strong as they lost games after important wins. This was on until the coach made some changes in the starting five and in the game play. THe first big change was to sent the Rookie S.Lake back to the bench an putting K.Korver on the starting five. The change was the key to get the games on the 76ers side. But soon another question raised. The key was still not strong specialy against teams like Chicago and Miami who had strong players under the basket. The GM and the coach decided to trade Andre Iguodala for some strong inside player. The deal with Orlando was fantastic. K.Thomas and A.Iguodala were traded for J.Nelson and D.Howard. In the first game with the team the coach realized that D.Howard was the strong player the team needed. Since then the 76ers are playing great in both ends of the court. They are first in the NBA League and they look to get another Trophy. There is only one problem in the near future the future of J.Nelson. He is not the real PG that the 76ers are looking. While playing Allen Iverson or Eddie House the game speed is high but when J.Nelson is playing the game freeze."

Starting 5 vs Bench
--------PPG------RPG------APG--------SPG------BPG------FGM%------3TP%------FT%
Str5----62,6-----27,4------19,0------5,58-------2,82-----.477------.443-------.545
Benc---50,2------23,9-------9,5------3,25-------1,62-----.442------.370-------.520
Green- Best in the league
Red- Worst in the league
To make the comparison I used this: The 76ers starting 5 vs the rest of the league str5. The same for the Bench players. Later they are compared

"The bench of the 76ers is key to their succeses beeing the best bench in the NBA they are getting the things done. The team is has the best FGm% and 3Tp% but they are last in FT% a things that was truble since day 1. THe 76ers is also the team with least To adn Fouls. This 05-06 roster features great bench players such as Eddie House who is a powerfull PG for the team with some good rating from beyond the arc. Udonis Haslem is also a great subtitute for Dalembert of Howard. In the last weeks W.Green had some great games making it more easy to win the games. Half of the season has been play with day to the All Star Game the 76ers has to keep the good energy and staying positive. Time will only tell of all this efford was good enought to bring another trophy home."

Who will be in the next All Star Team of 2005?? Take you Pick.....

I just love this dynasty because Korver is awesome here :D And you still have AI with the Sixers. Korver should be an all-star with his stats though.

Good luck with him in the 3 PT Shootout!

Interesting to see Antoine Walker in the All Star Game. Good read
Allen Iverson passing on family values:

A.I.: son, what you doing there?
A.I.'s son: practicing my math for my test tommorow
A.I: practice? practice? we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test - practice. we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test, not the test - practice.

Yeah that was my thought too...hope we got another ring this year

Haslem's playing really good for you. Strange that Dwight didn't get voted for the All-Star Game, but at least AI got a spot.

"With a fast start the Shophomore took the advantage but only to see how the Rookies pass them on the 3rd quarter. After some changes the Sophomore were able to take the lead and ended first as the game. The Rookies-Sophomore game is a perfect situation to see how will have an impact on the league and tonight we could see that K.Lauderdale the Rookie of the Charlotte Bobcats has some great future as he was Drafted 1st. He was a great ability with the ball. He can score from outside and if needed break the defence for the eazy dunk. Also Milwaukee got two Rookies to this game and they play great. San Antonio found a strong and tall center that can help Tim Duncan under the paint but for now Howard got the MVP with some great numbers."

"The four best dunkers of the NBA match up to get the trophy. In the first Round wade and Howard show some great dunks to advance to the second round. Richardson and Jones were eliminated after some average dunks. It was said that this year Competition was one of the Worst but Wade and Howard show the critcs that the best was yet to come. In the second Round Howard was able to show his great ability to dunk and got the trophy."

"Usually when we think of the All Star Game some things cross our mind offence-highlights-little defence-and big scores but this year things change a lot. Both coaches decided to play the right way. It was said by many fans out side the NBA that this game wasnt about basket at all it was more about the highlights & dunks. Well tonight both teams West-East try their best to get the game. Individualism was quickly put aside in order to get the win. Soon the East catch themself with a confortable 10 point lead. The East was really enyoing the game on and off the court. On the other side the West wasnt really showing their game. In the first half Shaquille O´Neal was the main man of the East team for the West Tim Duncan was not letting the East scaped. Entering the last quarter the East had a 15 point lead. Kobe Bryant started to get hot but it was too late for that the East has playing better and enyoing the game."
