I was tempted to draft him or brandon knight and turn them into shooting guards, what a speed combo that would of been with J-WALL

Yeah, I traded out of the 5th though, I threw everything to get Jennings, but the bucks declined... asswipes.

I'm still gonna look if DeRozan is available in free agency because he wasnt in the raptors roster and he didnt get traded all year.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Allen Iverson has found a new home and it doesn't involve Philadelphia or any European team.

The 35-year-old signed a exclusive one year deal with the defending champion Washington worth at least $2.54M,

John Wall is just the second player in NBA History to win both the Rookie of the year award and NBA Finals MVP award.

EXPERTS' PICKS

The Wizards finished second in the Southeast Division last season with a 21-8 record. For Southeast coverage,
visit NBA2K's Southeast blog. | Discuss Wizards | MAG Preview

Analyst:

J.A. Adande: DIVISION FINISH: 3 The Wizards are going to have a hard time defending their title from the likes of the Miami Heat (who are in their division),
the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Hornets. They didn't do much with their roster, they got younger and brought in Allen Iverson to take some of the pressure
off of John Wall, but I just don't see them repeating, sorry Washington but you will get around just 12-15 wins this season, you may creep into the post-season, but you
wont make some noise like you did last year.

Bill Walton: DIVISION FINISH: 2 I'm liking what they did in the offseason, I believe the Miami Heat will win the division but Washington will repeat as Champions,
the Wizards may be very young and had a bad bad pre-season, but to be honest, does anyone care about pre-season these days, it's all about the post-season and the
Wizards have the swagger to get there.

Mark Jones: DIVISION FINISH: 4 They went 1-6 during the pre-season. That's enough for me to think about what lies ahead for the Washington Wizards, they arn't
exactly a dynasty in the making, true they won last year and dominated in the playoffs, but the Thunder should of won the title, i guess those last second freak shots, were
all about destiny for the Washington Wizards, there destiny this year is another top 10 pick, they don't have the formula for winning games, they have John Wall, but now
teams can gameplan around Wall and the season will drag on for the Wizards, they will win 10 games max.

BEST OF THE WIZARDS

Best player: Point guard John Wall. The rookie sensation from Kentucky lived up to the hype last season, he dismissed early thought's of him being the next Kwame Brown,
and led the Wizards to their first NBA title in almost 35 years, Wall has everything and more that you want from a point guard, he may not have the flashiest of ratings, but he is
right now a top 5 player in the league, in my opinion he's already the best.

Best player who won't start: Shooting guard Nick Young. I really liked what I saw from Young this season, he could and should of started this season, but with the arrival of
Allen Iverson, it's going to be another year before Young can have a breakout year, Iverson was brought in to teach Young a few more things, he showed some poise and greatness
in the playoffs last summer but now he's just a bench player who will provide points when necessary.

Best speed: John Wall and Allen Iverson. The Wizards have the fastest guard tandem in the league, maybe of all time, Wall is definitely by far the fastest player in the league,
and although 35, Iverson can still run when he needs to, you don't want to turn the ball over against these two, these two can move down the court like how Batman and Robin chased
down criminals in Gotham City.

Best chance at best dunks: Javale McGee. McGee isn't happy in Washington and want's out, we don't blame him, he isn't a fan favorite right now and is not being used a lot by
the Wizards, but when McGee does get onto the court, standing at 7 foot, he can create the best dunks, look for more ally-loops from Wall to McGee this season, they created a few
last season but with both players better, so will their play and creativeness.

Most under-rated baller: Josh Howard. Howard is someone that you could pass on in your fantasy leagues, Wall is the consensus #1 pick in fantasy drafts, but where does Howard
lie? He is in 89th place as the most used baller, that's not great for a player that could easily provide at least 15 points a game and make a few 3 pointers, look for Howard to provide
some spark for this offense, even though Howard will be playing injured for the first couple of games of the season.

SCOUTS INC.'S TERRIFIC 3 - Top Three Players

1. John Wall (95) - If the Wizards want any chance of being competitive let alone repeating, there #1 priority is for John Wall to remain healthy, the Wizards can't afford to lose
Wall to an injury, the season is not 82 games anymore, it's 29, so for the Wizards to remain competitive they really need their best player out there at all times.

2. Allen Iverson (91) - The Wizards brought in the ancient shooting guard to score baskets for a team that recorded around 80 points a game last season, the Wizards need some
offensive production when Wall is busy being double teamed or is not in form, Iverson can now be their three point shooter now that Dooling has departed, Iverson should at least record
more than 10 points a game, look for Wall and Iverson to be a nice combo.

3. Josh Howard (85) - Howard has broken his nose but will play injured, that may decrease his numbers but Howard has been there and done that before, Howard can provide one
of those shots that get the team going when they're down late in the game. I'm pretty sure a tandem of Wall, Iverson, Blatche and Hickson can be a nice package, look for the Wizards to
surprise a few this year.

WHERE WILL THE WIZARDS FINISH?

Where do you think the Wizards will finish, a lot of analysts have them not even getting into the playoffs, they may have a Finals hangover, the pre-season wasn't pretty and they lie dead
last in the power rankings, rankings mean nothing though when your able to win in the NBA.

TOP 6 PRE-SEASON POWER RANKINGS

1. Miami Heat
2. Orlando Magic
3. Atlanta Hawks
4. Oklahoma City Thunder
5. Boston Celtics
6. Los Angeles Lakers

The Washington Wizards will travel to London, England to face the Houston Rockets at the 02 Arena to tip-off their season. They have a relatively easy schedule until December where they face the Hawks, Bulls and Nuggets in back-to-back games before later facing the Hornets, Magic, Lakers, Thunder and Celtics, both are split into back to back games. For the second straight season the Wizards have just 2 games in the last two months, they face Miami in the last week of the season, that game could decide the winner of the division and the conference.

Washington vs. Houston

TIME: 07:00 P.M. BCT
VENUE: O2 Arena

The Houston Rockets get a measuring stick of how good they are when they face the defending NBA champions
tonight across the Atlantic in United Kingdom's capital London.

The Washington Wizards will know whether or not they may blip in performence and have a championship-type
hangover.

The Houston Rockets are tying to get back to the post-season for the first time in three seasons, what better
way than to show the world that they are capable of doing that by defeating the Washington Wizards.

"They're a very good team, we can't overlook them because a starter is going to play injured, an ass-whooping
is in store if we do that," said Aaron Brooks.

The Wizards went 1-6 during the pre-season, not great numbers for a team that beat a whole load of opponents
last year.

"I don't understand all this talk," said Wall as was preparing for the flight. "It's the pre-season, we are not going
to win any trophies, it's just to get us back into shape and test out our rookies."

Point proven, point taken, but something they need to prove is that they won't continue the form that they
displayed last month.

"That's forgotten," said Allen Iverson. "Were in Europe to showcase our skills, I think we will shock some people
this season."

The Washington Wizards made a couple of adjustments to their roster before they departed for London, they sent
Wesley Witherspoon and Artem Zabelin down to the D-League and traded away newly acquired rookie Corey Fisher
to the Los Angeles Clippers for Bobby Brown. The Wizards also signed Seung-Jin Ha to a 1 year deal worth $464k.

"Were going about our business as normal," said Wizards head coach Flip Saunders. "Of course being in a different
nation's captial for once is awesome, but now we need to play again, we're not paper champs, nor do we want to be,
but we want to be gold-ware champs in seven months time."

Washington Wizards (0-0) at Houston Rockets (0-0)

THE STORYLINE: The Wizards led 71-43 at one point, the game finished up 93-88 to the Wizards after a strong finish by Houston.
It wasn't a walk in the park for the Wizards, both teams struggled early but the Wizards came out with a win, they had the better team
and played much more fluentley today. London witnessed one of the best NBA players in John Wall and the towering Yao Ming put on a
showing as well.

WHAT WE SAW: Allen Iverson shot just 6 of 33 field goals and 0 of 12 three pointers, it wasn't a great offensive day for Iverson,
but he showed he's still rapid off the blocks and helped take the pressure and double teaming off John Wall... Wall himself had a big day
recording 16 points. Wall hit 7 of 14 field goals, 1 of 3 three pointers and recorded 12 assists, the only downside was that he turned the
ball over a team high four times.

Nick Young may get some extra looks, he nailed 4 of his 5 field goals... Allen Iverson wasn't the only
one who couldn't get anything going offensively, Aaron Brooks turned the ball over 9 times, hit just 6 of 7 field goals and 1 of 7 three
pointers... Yao Ming recorded 19 rebounds, a lot of those rebounds came from Allen Iverson's missed shots.

Washington Wizards (1-0) at Detroit Pistons (0-0)

THE STORYLINE: The Washington Wizards had another close game in which they should of really blown-out their opponent by miles. Allen Iverson, although recording 25 points is still having trouble finding his accuracy, he scored just 11 of 36 field goals and 3 of 14 three pointers. John Wall is looking good as always recording 19 points (8 of 13 & 3 of 5) including 10 assists. Josh Howard and Nick Young also had pretty decent games. The Pistons looked average in their first game, Ben Gordan however performed pretty good, recording 29 points, the Wizards didn't have an answer for stopping him but didn't let any other Pistons have big games.

WHAT WE SAW: If the Wizards are going to defend their title this season, they're going to have to win the close games which they are doing this season, in two games they already have a tendancy to let the other team back into the game, Allen Iverson has to improve his shooting, he's never shot quite so bad before nailing just 17 of 69 (24%) field goals this season. The Wizards have climbed from the #30 ranking all the way down to the #8 ranking, there is still a long way to go.

Washington Wizards (2-0) at New York Knicks (0-1)

THE STORYLINE: The Wizards visited New York to end the start of their 3 game road trip of the season, the Wizards eeked out another close win, this time 106-100, the Wizards relied on Allen Iverson's three pointers late in the game and came from behind late in the thid quarter the win the ball game. John Wall had a big night and the Wizards now look like one of the best teams around starting the season 3-0.

WHAT WE SAW:

Allen Iverson struggling with his accuracy: Even though Allen Iverson recorded 23 points, 3 assists and 7 rebounds, he still has a lot to improve on with his game in Washington. Iverson hit just 8 of 28 field goals this time around and nailed 5 of 16 three pointers, Iverson actually had a pretty good start but went stale between the second and third quarter before a strong fourth quarter.

Pressure's off Wall: We all know that when Iverson came to the team that the Wizards wouldn't have to rely on John Wall to win games, in tonight's win Wall recorded 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and 16 assists. Wall hit 8 of 11 field goals and leads the league in assists (12.7 Apg), is second in steals per game (3.7) and has 38 assists in just three games.

Wizards defense restricts Stoudemire: The Wizards defense has been pretty solid this year, they held Stoudemire to just 16 points, Stoudemire did nail 8 of 12 field goals and recorded 13 rebounds, but for the most part he was a non factor compared to the games of John Wall and Allen Iverson.

Toronto Raptors (1-2) at Washington Wizards (4-0)

THE STORYLINE: The Washington Wizards hosted the Toronto Raptors in their first home game since capturing their third world championship this past summer, and what way to celebrate than against a weak opponent like Toronto and blow them out. Due to Allen Iverson's and John Wall's strong games yet again, the Wizards are now riding a 4-0 win streak and will look to go 5-0 when they finish up at Philadelphia to end the month in a couple of days time.

WHAT WE SAW:

Iverson finally finds his game: Iverson has played very well for the Wizards to start of the season, but his accuracy has been a problem. Not this game. Iverson converted 9 of 13 field goals and 2 of 3 three pointers for 21 points, he also clinched 6 assists and was a problem all day long for the Raptors.

That boy called Wall: Ever since the Wizards signed Iverson, Wall's role decreased, he's still their playmaker and superstar, but now he doesn't have to do everything, he now has some nice backups and a nice group of starters to pair with him, that still doesn't stop him from having big games as Wall recorded 23 points, a team high and hit 11 of 18 field goals and 12 assists, he leads the NBA in assists so far and is looking like a very nice player.

The Wizards: I'm not one to make early Final teams, but the Wizards may head back if they keep playing like they played against Toronto, the Wizards do have an easy schedule to start the season but could drop a few games during December, it's all up to the Wizards with how they will cope with defending their title, it should be a good ride and look for the Wizards to at least get 18 wins this season, not bad for a team that could hardly win 20 games in a 82 game season three years back.
