Oh yeah i know what you mean about Amari, but i needed another better wingman than Grant Hill. But that was seasons ago, and since i've made a trade for Blake Griffin, i traded Glen Davis, my 1st round pick and something elese for Griffin and the team accepted it.

Griffin has been developing nicely, i've been focusing mainly on his defensive skills and he can steal and block, his stats aren't 70 yet but all his other defensive skills are above 80. He's developed a bit without much training in his midrange shot as well, i just want him to be one of my main defenders.

We lost Steve Nash around 2 seasons after i started the dynasty, to retirement. So Dragic is starting and is a very good offensive player now. We've also added Perkins, and Perkins and Lopez are defensive stoppers.

They ain't partners anymore in my dynasty...

Lebron has moved to Indiana (who already have a star player in Joe Johnson).

Rodney Hilario has joined the Hawks, who have Baron Davis.

J-Rich remained in Sacramento with his non-brother Quentin and Booze.

KG (who's dropped to 88) is now wearing #6 in Denver.

The Jazz released Starbury. They now got Kirk Hinrich as starting point guard.

Marion joined Amare in Detroit.

So I started a franchise in Live 2003 with the original rosters and simmed 12 seasons. Over that time, Golden State won 4 titles, Lakers won 3, the Suns won 2 (I was controlling them), the Clippers won 2, and randomly the 6 seed in the east (Knicks) won the most recent one after sweeping the #1 Sonics. Golden State had three 97+ rated superstars in Kevin Garnett (SF, 98), and Baron Davis (PG, 97) and ironically, Eddie Griffin (PF, 99) (RIP. ). Lakers had Shaq and Kobe both hit 99 while Fisher flopped and retired in 2008. I took J-Rich and Steve Nash while keeping Amare Stoudamire and a monstrous 6'10 highflying sharpshooter SF. They peaked at 92 overall, 95, 96, and the three-year pro sharpshooter is currently an 87 at age 22. The Clippers had two crazy years in 2009 and 2010 after taking Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, and a crazy rookie center who averaged 14 boards a game. Then Duncan, Kidd, and Dirk all regressed into the 70s and 80s in ratings.

It's pretty crazy, but I just landed an insane rookie PG after trading a nine year pro pg and some random forwards to Toronto. He's got an 82 overall rating. He's a sharpshooter, has crazy court vision, and plays nearly exactly like Steve Nash, only he's younger and inexperienced. I'm keeping him as my replacement for Steve Nash, because he's regressing now. I expect him to retire in three or four years.

Shaq went to 99? Yeah i know about Jason Kidd declining, he declines big time in his rating in all my dynastys, along with Chauncy Billups. That's good that you got a point because of Steve Nash, he usually retires 2 or 3 years after the first season.

Wow Eddie Griffin to 99, never saw that in any of my dynastys and i've had some very long dynastys to, my longest is 17.

In live 2003? Shaq is already a 96 - the highest of anyone in the game [Kobe, C-Webb, Duncan, Garnett, Pierce, and T-Mac are 95s (from memory)] so Shaq and Kobe going to 99 isn't a big deal. Kidd is already like 30 years old in 2003, so obviously he declined some and then retired at age 37 or 38. Nash, however, is somehow lasting a super-long time. He's 41 and still going strong. Griffin was a 99 for a good 3 or 4 years and then declined FAST. He was a 99 in 2009 and was out of the league by 2013.

I've completed one franchise. It gets really boring because the created rookies are too messed up to really do anything. Nearly all teams have at least one 93+ rated, the Lakers stack their entire roster (EVERY TIME!) and your injured reserve list will include your 82-rated 1st overall draft pick.

My completed franchise was crap, because I kept tanking seasons in search of building an entire team on 1st overall picks. I succeeded, but never found a perfect point guard. The one I found had KD-type offense but Amare type D.

Oh yeah that's right Shaq is 6 or 7 years younger so it is possible, i never had live 03, least i can't remember. But since his rating is 96 you said? Then its no so crazy, I just never saw someone who was already 30 years old when the dynasty starts hit 99, it seemed amazing.

But that's understandible now that you said what Shaq's rating was when the dynasty starts. That's a good rating for Shaq in those days.

Yep, can't argue with those stats. He deserved a 96 based off of those.

The formatting got messed up since I just copied it off of Shaq's wiki page. It's 27.2 ppg.

I'm doing a Golden State dynasty and am building around Stephen Curry. In season one I made a trade with the spurs for center Matt Bonner. I also signed small forward Alondo Tucker, we also had a strong draft that year. And i drafted a point gaurd named Kanioridis, decent offensive player.

His overall rating is 77, during the free agent market i signed a 7'0 293 center named Griffiths, he's a great dunker. This year's draft is strong as well and i plan on drafting maybe, a couple of forwards. Anthony Randolph and Ronny Turiaf are free agents along with Alondo Tucker and Adam Morrison.

I'm loaded with point gaurds, Tyreke Evans was playing for the lakers and i made a trade for him. I tried to get Stephen Curry bulked up a little by training him in athletics. But in the evolution screen it said that he only got taller. He went from 6'3 to 6'5. He improved in strength quite a bit so i knew he would change in something. I plan on making Curry more athletic.

I want a better center than biedrins, though he's good for rebounding, i think he's more of a backup though. I want an offensive big man in the rookie draft, an Andrea Bargnani type of player.

Wow, Curry growing a couple inches?

Sign Adam Morrison, and his epic mustache will help you to many championships, just look at the Lakers. (Y)

Tyreke can easily play SG or even SF, so you can keep Curry at the point and play Tyreke at the 2 or 3. Adam Morrison is a 2 or a 3 as well, make sure you leave a special place on your roster just for him. Because King Stache deserves it.

A really awesome idea popped into my head today. What if old/retired/now-useless players magically got a new start in the NBA? I'm going to create a player and start him fresh as a 2010 rookie draftee and take it from there.

I'm probably going to create a thread for it, but I'm not putting too much effort into it- I'm making NC Domination my top priority, but I want to see how it works out. Ideas for players? I've got a good idea, but I'd like other people's thoughts on this.

The greatness that is/was Yinka Dare (RIP). Get him his 10 assists in a game, and I'll be happy, and it'll be HOF worthy. (Y)

You mean kind of like MJ: Creating a Legend in NBA 2K11, though perhaps with a lesser player? Interesting idea.

Well, what I'm doing with this mystery player is creating a player with ratings based off of his rookie stats and developing him. I don't know how the 2k11MJ Legend thing works as I don't have the game (Might get it at some point considering everyone loves it so much) but I'm doing this with Live 2003. Anyone else have guesses as to who the mystery player is? Keep looking at the Franchise/Dynasty story section over the next couple hours or days to catch my story!

In my thunder dynasty i made a trade with the pacers, i sent Thabo Sefolosha, Eton thomas and Kyle Weaver to the pacers for Mike Dunleavy and Roy Hibbert. We really needed a backup small forward to Kevin Durant and i feel that Hibbert gives much needed defensive presence to my team. Plus Dunleavy can shoot threes.

This is a nice idea, Grant Hill was such a promising talent as he entered the league.

Other players which come to my mind are Penny Hardaway Shawn Kemp or Chris Webber.

Or maybe a famous player who never won a NBA titel like Karl Malone Chalres Barkley or Patrick Ewing.

a little outlook to the 92/93 season

Postby Radioman on Wed Dec 15, 2010 11:15 pm

Though my 1991/92 season is still running, i tried myself in converting the 1992 Draft Class into my Dynasty Roster. Though it took the whole weekend i think i managed it, so the 1992/93 season will be with the top Rookies like O'Neal , Mourning Jimmy Jackson .... I am so glad about that :D

This is an example of Shaquille O'Neal: (in which team he will play isnt decided yet, the draft lottery didnt start); most likely teams are Dallas, Minnesota or Orlando: (for sure its not Chicago  )

i am looking forward to it , he will crush the league

In my chicago bulls dynasty in the first year, i made trades to get Jamal crawford from the atlanta hawks and Deshawn Stevenson from the dallas mavericks and Carlos Boozer from the utah jazz. Then in the offseason didn't resign Boozer right away and i drafted a three point shooting power forward, and a lowly shooting gaurd in a strong draft.

Then in the free agent period, i singed De Andre Jordan that center, Kyle Lowry, Rudy Gay and eventually i was able to get Carlos Boozer back. So we should have a better team in year two, Joahkim Noah, Jamal Crawford and Deshawn Stevenson are all free agents that we want to resign.

The only player from those names that you mentioned that i would want, is Jeff Green, because he has excellent potential to be a great player, i've made him a superstar before. And maybe i'd want Shannon brown.

I started a franchise with the Cats, made only a couple tweaks to the roster, the largest being Nazr Mohammed, Desagana Diop for Tyson Chandler. (yeah, I really want TC back). I simmed to the 2014 all-star game and Chandler, Tyrus Thomas, Wallace, Jax, and Augustin all made the All-Star team! Wallace and Augustin were starters (Rondo is injured, Rose is now a Clipper). It was amazing - my entire starting five was in the All-Star game!!
