Oh yah that was a big muck up I think Wall got ejected out of the game and i was screwed playmaker wise lol.

I tonned down the penalties because i was commiting at least 25 per game whilst they commited 7 so it will be a lot even now.

WASHINGTON (AP) — You kind of new just 2 minutes in that this game was over -- The Wizards were up 13-0 and the Oklahoma City Thunder scored their first points
of the game just five minutes into the first quarter.

You kinda got the vibe after the first quarter that the Wizards were going to blow the Thunder out of the Verizon Center, they did just that and tied the series up for a
decisive "winner takes all" game 7 2011 NBA Finals series.

Image Image

With the help of John Wall's 36 points (15 of 38 and 5 of 14, 9 steals), Josh Howard's 26 points (12 of 17) and Andray Blatche's 10 rebounds, the Washington Wizards
were able to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 122-95, in the all-important game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals played at the Verizon Center last night.

"We played with our heats," said Wizards point guard John Wall. "We knew this could well be the last time we were playing this season, so if we did we wanted to go out
with a bang."

It was more like boom than bang, the Wizards defense stuffed the Thunder's powerful offense and held Kevin Durant to just 14 points, he averaged 27 points a game
this season.

"That defense was good tonight," said Durant who hit 7 of 14 field goals. "It just restricted us very well they defended very well, they didn't foul as much, they just played
a very good game, it was easily their best effort of the season and now we need to go watch tape and change things up for game 7, it's going to be a very good game, so
we can't just sit back again and except things to happen, we just can't overlook them again."

They did more than just overlook, it looks like they didn't practise, Russell Westbrook hit just 6 of 21 field goals, Jeff Green hit just 3 of 9 three pointers and the Thunder's
defense allowed Cariter Martin to hit 3 of 3 three pointers in what was an embarrasing effort.

"I don't know what you call this effort," said Thunders coach Scott Brooks. "It was lackluster and an embarrasment to our franchise, word's cannot explain how dissapointed
our front office is at this game, we could be hoisting the Trophy right now, but we didn't do even enough to make it a close contest, I just hope the players realise this and
that they can rebound and we can wrap it up with a win in a few nights time."

"What a game," explained Wizards coach Flip Saunders to the local media after the game 6 triumphant win over the Thunder. "All game I was like WOW, did John Wall just
do that? The Thunder got WALL'D by the best player in the game, that's right I'm ready to proclaim him that, give me him over, Kobe, The King, the Anything, John Wall is
for real unlike Kwame Brown."

John Wall might be for real -- this series may also be for real as Game 7 should be a closely fought contest which will decide who is the best basketball team in the NBA this
season.

WASHINGTON (AP) — 33 long years it took for the Washington Wizards to walk through their locker room in champagne-soaked T-shirts again.

Marquis Daniels carried the Larry O'Brien trophy, one he had cradled before. And John Wall, who took the game winning shot with 1.2 seconds left, always the
center of everything for his team, recorded every precious moment with a camcorder.

Image Image

After Kevin Durant missed what could of been the game winning shot with 5 seconds left the Wizards sprinted down field, passed to John Wall who was on the
edge of the ark and nailed the three-pointer with just 1.2 seconds left to give the Washington Wizards a 91-88 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in
game seven of the 2011 NBA Finals at the Verizon Center.

As the clocked ticked down to zero seconds the court went into pandemodium. "It was crazy," said Wall who was wrapped in a U.S. Flag hugging his MVP award.

Wall hit 13 of 28 field goals and recorded 30 points in what was his finest day of his life. "I dreamed about this since I was a young'n, it's a dream come true, it
still hasn't soaken in quite as much as my t-shirt." Wall became one of the few to have won the Rookie of the Year award and also the MVP Finals award in the
same year.

"He's a special talent," said Thunders coach Scott Brooks on Wall. "He single handedly won the series for them, yeah he had some help from players like Howard
and co, but he was really the only playmaker they had, they played better than us and they definitely deserved the championship, congratulations to them."

Both teams hit 40 of 84 field goals and both recorded 5 steals, what caused the loss for the Oklahoma City Thunder then?

"Were not going to go around blaming people for the loss," said Thunders playmaker Kevin Durant, who recorded 18 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the loss
to the Wizards. "We lost as a team, it's a tough thing to swallow losing especially when we had, 2-1,3-2 leads but it is what it is."

Russell Westbrook, who recorded 26 points (13-18, 0-1), 4 rebounds and 7 assists squatted on the sideline and proceeded to cry as the confetti rained down after
the buzzer sounded. "It was so painful," said Westbrook. "We came so far, to have beaten the Lakers and then to have lost to the Wizards, oh it hurt's, we will be
back next year."

Wizards coach Flip Saunders at the podium told fans. "Thank you for this year, you raised the roof tonight, you guys are our sixth man, you guys were so loud tonight,
I almost shit myself on several occasions."

"This definitely is one of the greatest series of all time," said Josh Howard who was one of the protagonists in getting the Wizards to the Finals, and eventually winning
it. Howard recorded 13 points on the night.

"Now we can relax, do some partyin' and just chill through the offseason," said Nick Young. Relaxing may be ideal for the players, for management it's even more excitment,
when was there a last time when the NBA Finals winners had four first round draft picks?

• Now that perhaps the most entertaining Fials series is now over, the retirement papers are being filed to the league today, you can read the list here, which containts Jason Kidd. There hasn't been much retiring in the coaches section, probably firing later this off-season, however Rockets coach Rick Adelman retired afternoon after four seasons with the Houston Rockets. The Rockets announced that Jess Conner will take over the coaching reigns. The defending champion Washington Wizards announced they had signed prospect scouts Joseph Webber and Jefferey Grove to two and three year deals.

• Player options were processed this morning and afternoon, some of the players that highlighted the day were Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade who accepted his option, Nugget's Carmelo Anthony declined the option on purposes of wanting a "longer-term contract" and T.J. Ford told reporters "I'm worth more than my option year paid." You can see more player option transactions
here, here, here, here and here.

• A few months back, exactly almost 3, just before the start of the playoffs, Rookie of the Year John Wall told reporters that he would "guarantee" a championship to be brought back to Washington, Wall not only made his comments come true, he also carried the Wizards on his back, that's a lot to do for a rookie, the Wizards have told Wall that now all the pressure is off his back and that he won't ever need to carry a team like that again.

*p.s. due to the roster i used there was quite a lot of players playing for $0K, bargain! :D

• Even though last year's offseason was probably the biggest in NBA's history, each and every year there is some highs, lows and the question marks that leave us wanting more from the offseason, this offseason is no different as the rumors of this year are starting.

• The Washington Wizards will not re-sign Patrick Ewing Jr., Kyle Weaver and Joe Alexander, they will be free-agent's this offseason. Josh Howard has been re-signed to a 4 year deal worth at least $28.42M. His base salary for this year will be $6.18M. Marquis Daniels will also stay with the team despite his Boston Bathroom brawl during the playoffs, Daniels signed a 2 year deal worth $3.45M.

• If you ever believe the trade rumors, then continue reading. The New England post are reporting that the Celtics are openly shopping Taddeus Young, who is being pursued by the Bucks and the Nets. 76ers Hasheem Thabeet has told reporters that "I'll play for any team" but is not bound for Charlotte.

• Spanish sensation Ricky Rubio told local media "I'm happy here in Cleveland", however the Cavaliers are trying to shop Rubio, his destinations may be Indiana, Toronto and the favorite by Las Vegas is Orlando.

• Rumors are also flying around that the Wizards are tying to trade for Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings who would play shooting guard and Raptors small forward DeMar DeRozan are also in their sights, the Wizards have 4 1st round draft picks and could land two selections in the top 15, which gives them a lot of leniency over other teams whilst trading this year.

• The Draft Lottery odds have been released to the public for this years draft. The Clippers who had the #1 selection two year's ago have a 25.0% chance of getting another #1 draft pick and the Washington Wizards who had the top pick last year, used it on John Wall and won the Championship this summer have a 19.9% & 1.1% of getting another top draft pick, however the Wizards are intent of drafting out of the top 10 to get experienced players, they already have a handful of youth players.

The Memphis Grizzlies will have the first selection in the 2011 NBA Draft, followed by the Philadelphia 76ers who also had possession of the #2 overall pick last year. The Suns, Clippers and Wizards round out the top 10. The Miami Heat will have the last selection in the first round and the Washington Wizards have the most draft picks with 4, followed by the 76ers and Pistons who both have 2.

It's widely considered that Harrison Barnes will go first to the Memphis Grizzlies, followed by Kyrie Irving to the Philadelphia 76ers.

• The Wizards traded their 5th overall selection to the Cleveland Cavaliers in return for J.J. Hickson, although Hickson wasn't worth a 5th overall, the Wizards wanted to offload the draft pick and had tried to trade for Brandon Jennings and Carmelo Anthony but both were denied, the Bucks wanted to keep Jennings as he was the only point guard on their roster. The Wizards still have the 10th, 21st and 28th overall selections.

• The Wizards hosted prospects such as Kyle Irving, Harrison Barnes, Brandon Knight, Derek Williams, Kemba Walker, Chris Wright as they prepare for the draft.

• Talking of drafts, here is the 2011 nba.com mock draft. part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6
