Carmelo Takes His Talents To The Valley Of The Sun

July 11, 2011 - It's over, it's all over. The Carmelo Anthony saga has ended. Melo has signed with the Phoenix Suns! After a long season full of trade rumors linking him to New Jersey and New York, the four time all-star decided to "follow the wins" and the warm weather. Despite the Nuggets finishing a game away from the Western Conference Finals, and just having acquired former all-star Brandon Roy, Melo opted for the lottery Suns due to the presence of Steve Nash, along with the signing of Zach Randolph.

Anthony's deal is reportedly for 5 years at maximum salary. Anthony is expected to wear the number #15, and start at the small forward position. With this signing, Steve Nash is expected to finish his career in Phoenix.

July 26, 2011 - The Blazers' rebuild continues with a coup of a trade. They send disgruntled swingman Wesley Matthews to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Serge Ibaka. Ibaka is a young, athletic big man who should bolster their already deep frontcourt that features Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge and Nene. Meanwhile, the Thunder get deeper at the wing positions...
