agreed, Jazz win in the trade, Celtics loose...

but the Celtics can manage....

if AK is the 6th man on that roster...who starts at the SF? or the SG? Marquis Daniels....?

Pippen not satisfied with Deng

Image

There are rumors that Scottie Pippen is not satisfied at all with Luol Deng. And that's because of his long lasting injuries, and his laziness to try harder and recover from them.
It is said that in a meeting with the General Manager,George Koukoulis,Assistant Steve Kerr and Vice President Phil Jackson,Pippen said these words:
"I really don't know what I should do with this guy.He should be an All-star caliber player! But he always loses the 1/4 of the season and more with injuries. And not only he's like having a body made from glass, but he won't try his hard out to return as soon as possible!"

"Look at Carlos [Boozer].He was injured in the second game of this season. Our trainer reported that the usual time of recovery from this injury is at least 8 weeks. But he was working so hard, that he managed to get back in training that soon,so I can count him on for the team 2 weeks before! I want to see this from Deng too.Why he can't do this as well?

Koukoulis then stated out:
I will personally look over Deng in the next months before the trade deadline. If he continues his laziness and lack of effort i will try for sure to trade him away.Despite his great abilities,I don't want in a hard working team, players who don't want to work hard.

Deng's future now on Chicago is unstable, and the Bulls, who showed confidence on Deng, choosing him instead of Hinrich to stay on the team, are giving Deng a last chance to show that he deserves to be the Captain, and a part of this team

i can't believe u similated the game against ej17's team!!! haha just say it wasn't a televised...only NBA league pass

like i said earlier in ur dynasty...trade Deng!

but at least ur giving him a chance to prove himself...and ur not exiling him to the end of the bench like the knicks would do (ex. Stephon or Eddy Curry)

but yea, Korver is good enough, get some cap relief and look for a stud SF in the draft or free agency cuz ur doing just fine without Deng

(without boozer too, which is really good. can't wait for him to play 100%)

Booze will be back on the next game vs los Angeles lakers!

I can live without Deng it seems. As Booze is back I will try to trade either Alexander or Gibson too as they have 2 years remaining in the contract(though both of them play great and the equally filled the gap great) i am open to suggestions too though.(Or Blount, and move Gibson to the reserve C,but miss the only real center reserve and risk a little)

Both easy wins here. Sorry ej17! But Indiana currently is one of the best eastern teams ;)

i still think Deng for cap relief and get a solid SF in the draft of free agency

other than that...i'd favor moving Blout than Gibson...mainly because of age then go after a decent backup C in the off season

Alexander plays good for u...but i'm sure someone else can replicate his numbers (either on ur team or someone in the FA pool or another team to trade)....remember Alexander played good because if playing time....if Deng is back...expect Alexander's time to go down. meaning lower numbers
...he's expendable

I believe you're right. I will try to make those moves and i have an idea about an expiring center who will try to get for Deng

Bulls to honor Pippen with a Statue
Image

The Chicago Bulls announced that a bronze statue will be made in honor to Scottie Pippen, the Current Head Coach of the Bulls and a recent Hall Of Fame member.
The Statue will be Unveiled at the first round of the 2010-2011 Playoffs
“Words really can’t express my feelings,” Pippen told Bulls.com. “It’s an unbelievable honor and truly amazing. It’s something you dream of as a kid growing up, but you can never foresee those childhood fantasies becoming reality. You see statues of individuals who have done great things and made their mark on history, but as a basketball player, you never really think about arriving at this point. It’s an amazing honor for the Chicago Bulls to do this for me.”

“Not only is Scottie Pippen one of the greatest players to ever wear a Bulls uniform, but he’s among the best players in history of the league to play the game,” said Bulls former Chairman and current part owner Jerry Reinsdorf. “He had a tremendous impact in bringing six world championships to Chicago and there is no better way to pay tribute to him than with a permanent statue that honors his inspirational career.”

"He was the best teammate i've ever had.I don't know if i would be that Succesfull without him" Said Michael Jordan, current Bulls Chairman,Hall of Fame member and Pippen's teammate in the Chicago Bulls.

Backstory

United Center, minutes after the end of the Bulls morning practice, one day after the announcement of the creation of Pippen's statue....

Pippen just left the United Center. While he was passing by the MJ's statue he heard a well known voice.

"It seems that we will be together again, even as statues!"it was Michael Jordan, who was leaving the stadium too.

"Like the Good old times, right?"Pippen replied

"Yeah, right. What about taking a quick flashback of those times?" Jordan said.

"What do you mean?" Pippen replied without having a clue of what Jordan said.

"Just follow me and make sure you have your basketball shoes with you..."

30 minutes later at a Rucker Park somewhere at Chicago.....

P:"Where did you found these?"

J:"It was easy.I own this team now,you remember?"

P:"Our old jerseys. It brings me back a lot of memories..."

J:"Come on,put them on.At 21,loser pays a Big-Mac for both"

P:"That's a challenge for an 1 on 1? We're not back in 97!"

J:"Come on!It will be fun.Show me why you deserve this statue!"

P:"All right then.Let's get it started"

J:"Take the first shot for possesion then"

P:"Ok then..." (scores) "Nice start Huh"

Image

J:"It's just a shot!"

Image

P:"1-0!Still got it!Loser's out,take ball"

(Jordan scores 1-1)

J:"Bring it on!"(MJ with the rejection!)
Not this time Pip!!"

Image

(2-1 for Jordan)

(2-2 for Pippen with layup)

P:"That's what i'm talking about!"

(3-2 from Jordan and offensive from Pippen)

J:"Not that good,huh?"

(Basket and the Foul for Jordan!)

P:"You were lucky!"

Image

............

(score is 6-5.Jordan makes another basket and foul)

J:"Lucky again?"

Image

(Pippen makes the basket gets the offensive and then posterizes Jordan!)

Image

P:"I'm still flying baby!"

J:"Baskets here are shorter old man!"

P:"Admit that you can't do it now!"

(Jordan Scores a three. 9-7 for MJ)

J:"I always score though!"

......

(score 11-10.Jordan with the fake in the air and the beautiful lay up)

Image

J:"You can't stop that!"

P:"That was nice"

(Score 14-12.Jordan Dunks)

Image

J:"I told you I can still fly!"

P:"Baskets this time are not short MJ?"
.....

(score 18-17 for MJ.They hear a familiar voice from the fence)

?:"Hey Statue Men!It seems you two still got the moves! Why don't you play again for the Bulls?I'm trying to fill some gaps in the SG and SF positions!

It was the GM of the team,George Koukoulis

P:"You had to stop us now kid?"

J:"Why don't you play on the team?"

G:"You know that I'd love it ,but nah,I can't.I have to watch all of you in the team not to get the Bulls a mess!
And also,I have team in Greece to play.If I retire from a GM I should consider your propose!(sidenote:Nice idea for 2K11's My player Mode  ) I'm still young..

P:"Will we finish this MJ?"

G:"You played enough.Let's go to eat something.I will pay for the Big Macs!"
