Nice work, guess it shows all the support & following that you've got. Shame about the loss though. Could be a tough season. I'm thinking you will end up with between 36 & 38 wins.

October 30, 2010 - After narrowly losing to the Cavaliers in front of their fans in their season opener, the Raptors needed a pick-me-up. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies would not be the ones to provide it. Despite a ho-hum effort from 80 million dollar man Rudy Gay, Memphis was propelled by efforts of their twin towers (Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph), and cruised past Toronto. Memphis dominated the first quarter, forcing the Raptors to play catch-up all game long, then dominated the fourth to close the game. Sixth man Leandro Barbosa led the Raps with 16. Memphis improves to 2-0, while Toronto falls to 0-2.17 22 20 20 80 (0-2) | Bargnani: 13/8/2 | O'Neal: 15/4/2 | Barbosa: 16/2/0 (Shitass: Weems: 6 trillion!)

November 1, 2010 - Raptors fans had to be disappointed following their loss to the Orlando Magic, their third straight. Toronto, buoyed by a strong start by Shaq, jumped out to a 34-20 lead, and looked to upset one of the two Florida "super teams". Despite a subpar outing from Dwight Howard, the Magic bounced back in the second quarter, then dominated the second half to comfortably win 104-93. Six Magic players scored in double figures. Former Magic players Shaq and Hedo Turkoglu had solid outings in the loss. The Raptors remain winless, while Orlando remains undefeated.20 32 26 26 104 (3-0) | Paul: 18/3/9 (PotG) | Howard: 10/11/5 blocks | Lewis: 15/4/0

He(do) Got Game. | Barbosa is the shit.
November 4, 2010 - Following the Jameer Nelson trade, people expected the Pistons to be at least decent. After last night's atrocious performance in Toronto, the Pistons have fallen to a TURRIBLE 0-5. They were so bad, that the Raptors held them to 65 points, the lowest total since Toronto was part of Pangea. The Raptors, hungry for their first win, dominated from the start, opening with an 8-0 run, and eventually opening up a 25-16 lead going into the second. Hedo Turkoglu, reverting to his role of primary ball-handler that he had in Orlando, led the offensive charge. The Pistons' offensive woes continued into the second, as they couldn't buy a basket. Detroit entered the half down 45-28, shooting a dismal 33% from the field and already with 10 turnovers.
The massacre resumed in the second half. A Hedo three in the face of starting small forward Rip Hamilton (who is living up to his all-star contract with 7.2 points per game) put Toronto up 52-30, and the game was already sealed. The fourth quarter was mostly garbage time, with Austin Daye making the least of his opportunity. It was also Ed Davis's first playing time of the season, which saw him score 4 points and grab 3 boards in 11 minutes. In the end, the Raptors held on for their first victory, winning 84-65. John Kuester has to be on the hot seat, with the "architect" of the 08-09 Cavalier offense's team averaging a league low 77 points per game, and currently winless.

November 6, 2010 - At home and leading the Southwest division with a surprising 4-1 record, the post-Chris Paul Hornets looked like a lock to oust the subpar Raptors. Appearances can be deceiving. Firing on all cylinders from the start, Toronto bullied the Hornets, taking a double digit lead in the first, then opening up an 18 point lead at the half. The Raptors onslaught would not cease, as they would go on to win 113-87. Andrea Bargnani, Shaq and Hedo Turkoglu stood out for the Raptors, while David West led New Orleans with 21. Five games into the season, the Raptors have yet to see a 20 point performance from an individual player.32 29 25 27 113 (2-3) | Bargnani: 16/12/3 blocks (PotG) | Turkoglu: 17/3/8 | O'Neal: 15/12/1

Howard's been dominant on both ends of the court, as have his undefeated Orlando Magic. This was magnified by their 130-79 drubbing of the Nets in New Jersey, in which Howard had 35 points, 18 boards and 5 blocks on 15-19 shooting.

Will continue to refine it though. I liked the idea of mixing up the recaps with different perspectives from TBAB, but the high-maintenance was a primary reason for its demise...
