Its disappointing to see the Knicks get destroyed by the Heat but I'm hoping the Lakers and Pacer come out victorious.

Round 1 Game V

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers 92 - 94 OT > 2:3

The Lakers finally defeated the Spurs in a very tough series, now they are going to face the Phoenix Suns which didnt had a problem at all with the Warriors.

Detroit Pistons @ Indiana Pacers 102 : 97 > 3:2

The Bad Boys from Detroit did it again. They kicked out the favoured team from Indiana in the 5th game at Indianas home stadium. Reggie Miller was very disappointed after the game, the Pacers played such a great season leading the whole league for a long time. But the last weeks in April showed already that they couldnt hold on to that speed.

Round 2 will be another chapter of the legendary rivalry between the Pistons and the Bulls.

Thirteen years later, the Pacers would get their revenge, 97-82. Unfortunately, this would lead to Artest's suspension for almost the whole season.

Wish 2K12 would give you the option to start brawls in-game...

The NBA would not allow that, as brawls are really not part of the game. Same goes with technical fouls.

Radioman, the Rockets are gonna go all the way! :P Good luck against the Bad Boys!

Thank you,

doesnt look that good for the Rockets so far. They have a great team with Thorpe and Olajuwon, but with Drexler they were incredible. I still remember that 0-4

If i am able to, i am going to post the 1st Game against the Pistons tomorrow.

Round 2 Game I

It was the opening night of the 1992 Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons. Theese two teams had some very tough duells in the past and always it was the Pistons defense against Michael Jordan.

The rivalry already started in the late 80`s when the Pistons beated the Bulls in the Playoffs and went to their first NBA title. They succeeded with a tactic named "Jordan rules" until the early 90's where they pinpointed that there is no way to keep Jordan cold.

Jordan dismantled the Pistons in the first half.

With the beginning of the series Michael Jordan showed his ambitions to win the second straight title. He scored 24 of his 34 points in the first half against the Pistons. There was just no way to stop him, as a result of that the Pistons get in foul trouble early and had to rotate many times.

Joe Dumars and Isiah Thomas could resist against the attacking Bulls, together they made 67 points. Thomas also added 13 assists , 3 rebounds and 2 steals. The rest of the Pistons team remained colorless this evening which sealed the victory for the Bulls.

Round 2 Game II

Detroit Pistons 94 @ Chicago Bulls 90 L > 1:1 (best of 5)

Pistons tie the series!

In a close match the Pistons dominated the boards and beat the Bulls at their hometown. Even Michael Jordan could register 5 steals he stayed much under his means scoring only 28 points tonight.

Dennis Rodman made a season high in rebounding with 18 boards, Laimbeer added another 14 and Aguirre added 6 rebounds, that led to an total of 42 boards, a season record!

Horace Grant could resist against theese good boxouts with 15 rebounds. Scott Williams disappointed with only 5 boards.

Isiah Thomas was elected to game MVP as he scored 32points 3 rebounds and also added 5 assists.

Critical Situation for the Bulls:

The next two games will be in Detroit, the Bulls have to win at least one of them otherwise their journey will end up very short in the Conference Semifinals. This would be a huge disappointment for the acting NBA Champion.

Round 2 Game III

Image @ Image

Chicago Bulls 99 @ Detroit Pistons 108 L > 1:2 (best of 5)

Thomas the man of the series!

Isiah Thomas, 31pts-32pts-35pts <> 13ast-5ast-7ast his stats so far. IT plays an amazing series he is almost unstopable. In Game III of the Conference Semifinals he made 4 threes in the second half. The game was tied for a long time until Isiah started to shoot from outside.

The Pistons again did very hard defense on Jordan and kept him at 32pts. Jordan tried to involve his teamates and booked 8 assists this evening.

All or nothing for the Bulls:

The Bulls now trailing with 1:2 and the next game will be very hard because the Pistons can close out the series in Detroit. If the Bulls just win that game on the road they will be back in Chicago with the crowd on their side.

Its all or nothing, but its not over yet!

Chicago Bulls 106 @ Detroit Pistons 96 W > 2:2 (best of 5)

Jordan sinked 51!

Chicago struck back in Game IV of the Conference Semifinals. Michael Jordan silenced all critics scoring 51points firing the Pistons out of the building! This time the tough defense from Detroit could not stop Jordan.
Isiah Thomas again scored 37 pts which means an average of nearly 34ppg.

However the Bulls tied the series and now they are ready to pull it all away in Game V at Chicago.

Round 2 Game V

Detroit Pistons 102 @ Chicago Bulls 89 L > 3:2 (best of 5)

Big frustration!

The Detroit Pistons defeated the Chicago Bulls in a tightly contested series with 3:2. The Bulls could not find a way to stop Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars. Their offensive abilities were just too strong. The repeat of the 1991 Championship is over, this really hurts especially loosing the last game at Chicago.

The Pistons now seem to have a free pass to sweep the Nets and advace to the Finals.

There is not much more to say, a big disappointment in Chicago.

Historical letdown for the Bulls:

Its a tough defeat, thats true, but this is what happens in sports. When i look over the whole season i already noticed that the team was not that dominating at it is supposed to be.

I am sorry that i disappointed all the Bulls Fans in here

But...

This story is not over, the Bulls will return, and they will be stronger than ever! You can learn from every defeat and you can come back. Thats what i am going to do :!:

The Pistons are now my most hated team and i am going to show them the truth ! :D
