You should consider on thing. All of your latest 2K stories have exactly the same principles. You just copy the settings post from thread to thread. Apart from the My Player story, the stories feel exactly the same. The recap templates are slightly different, but basically the same.
.
You always have that post, where the schedule is divided into weeks and the played game is in bold. I expect the Nets go exactly the same as all these (And it has).

That's why I consider Pursuer's Lakers the best dynasty (Apart from X's and Sit's). He held the recaps very simple and easy to follow. He even had days, where he posted 2 or even three games. He played every game and recapped them. No fancy graphics, he just loved the team and to play the game. He often had many games with no replies at all. He stuck with it and that's why it's in the HOF. He was my biggest inspiration.

Learn from him.

Thanks Martti... yeah I always do the played game in bold, I'm not playing all 82, only 1 against each team.

Just looked at some of Pursuer's pages and yeah, he really stuck with it. So, that's what I'm gonna do. Sticking with the Nets and I'm not joking. I want to rebuild them.

I'm serious here, this is the sad part, 2k10 was actually the centre of my life this past two months. Didn't have the money to go on vacations, I had to stay at home, I even had to work, still. As you said, hope for somebody to say something, so I can reply back, that's what happened this past two months and that's what frustrates me the most. About the girlfriend, it's easier said than done. :P

I knew that. You were just sitting there and hoping for someone to reply. Or maybe go watch some TV and check back half an hour later if somebody replied. Don't do that. Just like Martti said. If you have a lot of time, go and recap a lot of games. Don't wait for replies. If the game dominates your life right now that is not good. But on the other side you can really make it far quickly by playing and playing and playing. Hell, I'd love to have some time to play a dynasty. So use your time. Oh yeah, the girl friend thing is always easier said than done, I know that. But it's like the typical sentence you might drop when you just want to tell somebody to get something to live for other than NBA 2k10 ;)

Ok, thanks a lot hova... the best replies I've had so far  I'm also playing some Dirt2 and PES 2010, but 2k is the most fun. School's starting for me in a couple of weeks, so I will play all the games I can now. Will go slower by April. I will look at the girlfriend part more seriously now. :P

Can someone lock this?

Thierry,

All the others have pretty much gone through, in great detail, why you keep failing.

I will keep mine brief.

You are trying to play all 82 games or at least recap all of them. It doesn't work. Do something different.

Scrap the betting game, I just found it a waste of time tallying points and all that.

Showing off your graphic skills is great but you're spending too much time on it. You prob spend four times as much time on that than playing the actual game. Even if you have fun with that, wouldn't that time be better spent doing something else?

Yeah man, we all just looking out for you. You're just wasting your time and I can tell that you spend a lot of time on your threads.

Holla.

Thierry, as everybody else has said, people are not going to waste their time until you prove you can at least make it through to a playoff series. I imagine your dynasties are what it would be like to have a cheating girlfirend. She'll always keep doing it, it's in her nature. Even when she says she will change, she never will.

How about just doing an offline dynasty & fill us in in the "How's Your Association Going?" thread.

The simple fact is that there was only one thing wrong with all your previous dynasties/Associations. It was the simple fact that you gave up on every single one of them. Nobody wants a cheating girlfriend Thierry.

Just imagine if you had kept some of your old dynasties going. You'd be at least a few seasons in.

Btw, you are on your 3rd page of your thread. On the 3rd page of my (supposedly good) Bobcats Dynasty, I had already finished my first season, done playoff, draft and off-season coverage. In the first page of my thread I only had one regular poster (Jing). By page 3 I had picked up a few more steady followers (Mark, Micchy Boy, Seraph, Dweaver, Sit & you even finally made your way into the thread 2 & a half months after I started it).

If I had of followed your system, my Bobcats' dynasty wouldn't have got past the first page, let alone the 30 odd it got. Just stick with something. Find a hook (like Lamrock's suggested one). To be honest, just continue this Celtics' one, everybody will appreciate it more. If you don't like current group, you are the GM, you can trade Allen, you can start to build. Heck, in 2k10 you can be hired to another team. Anyways, if you are going to continue this one, drop the prediction game stuff. I often don't comment because I see 3-4 comments with predictions. These people aren't even commenting on your Association, they are just making predictions because they want to see their own virtual characters in a dynasty.

Anyways, I've wasted enough time. I've got to get back to study.

I didn't really follow this one, and I don't regret it. You just don't get it Thierry.

This is your 29th dynasty thread since you joined

Holy shit

Everyone else has said it already, starting another story isn't going to get you more followers, if anything it would've just lost them. The biggest shame is here you could've done something to make people interested, traded all your good Celtics players for expirings to try and rebuild the team again. Shit like that would've had people curious, but you go through a minor lull in replies and you've quit already. I can't remember who said it, but your stories do all look the same. You're following an identical formula every time and it's not working because you're just making story after story, people are too used to seeing it. I didn't really follow this either because a) I knew you'd win pretty much every game, and b) I knew you'd quit and start a new one.

Anyway I'll lock this for you.
