Nice wins, but seriously, you have to admit that my scenario for the end of that game could've made everything a lot more interesting.

That, and how true that was. Stern's trial was a bigger farce than OJ's. Just had to say it.
Congrats again.

You've become one of the best story writers on the board and being attributed to that is definitely an honour. You've conquered the glitch machine that is Live 10 and now it looks like you're doing the same with 2k11. I should really start an association myself, because My Player makes me want to break the game
As for my jumpshot, I think I have the tendency to put too much behind it... I guess I don't know my own strength sometimes

Looks like this year's Playoffs in up for a long ride
2011 NBA Sixth Man of the Year
Posted by Axel Gomez May 6, 2011 at 8:56 AM
The lowly Minnesota Timberwolves may not be lowly anymore. Last year, they drafted Wesley Johnson out of Syracuse with the fourth overall pick. Johnson came in and made an impact, contributing to a 33-49 season. That may not be a good record, you know, it being a losing one and all, but for Minnesota, they'll take it. That's an 18-win increase from 15-67 last season, and if things keep up for the T-Wolves, they may be able to become a playoff contender in the near future.
Johnson averaged 12.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.4 steals, and 1.3 blocks, shooting a decent 42% from the field. He has become the second player to win the award as a rookie, Ben Gordon being the first back in 2005. "We're very proud of what Wesley (Johnson) has done for the franchise this year. He was able to come in and give an excellent all-around contribution in just his first season. He's only going to get better, but winning this award is just the start for him," Wolves' GM David Kahn commented.
There were other worthy candidates for the award, with Tracy McGrady headlining the best of 'em. T-Mac averaged 13 points, 4.1 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals for Detroit this season, reviving what was thought to be a lost career. TJ Ford and Mehmet Okur had surprising sixth man seasons, helping their respective teams make the playoffs. Ford averaged 12.1 points and 4.6 assists for the Indiana Pacers, while Okur averaged 10.6 points and 7 rebounds for the Utah Jazz.
And Lamar Odom showed up as always on the sixth man candidates. The award continues to elude him, but he gave the Los Angeles Lakers 9.1 points and 8.4 rebounds. Maybe the Lakers' down season made voters a bit hesitant on picking him as the award winner.
"It's a nice way to get my career started. When I first came in I didn't think the team would improve by that much, but it's good to know that I'm on a franchise that has a bright future as long as the right moves are made," Wesley Johnson said. Sorry to bring you back down to Earth Wes, but you mentioned "as long as the right moves are made", those being the key words. With David Kahn as your General Manager, the right moves probably won't be made.2011 Sixth Man of the Year Candidates:

man. lamar odom = SNUB. i hate how he gets snubbed every year.Posted by TMacAttack May 6, 2011 at 10:03 AM
You think Lamar's got it bad? It should've gone to my man T-Mac. At least he put up better all-around numbers than Wes.Posted by The REAL K-Mart (Kenyon sucks!) May 6, 2011 at 10:07 AM
I love how at the end he bashes David Kahn and the Wolves.Comical stuff, but true.
