I think the favorites are Heat and the Magic in the East and Blazers and Rockets in the West. But of course the Lakers and the Cavs are always there.

Diary Of Kyle Washburn

After a two-and-a-half year hiatus, Gilbert Arenas's blog is back up and running! Now here is somebody who knows good general managing when he sees it. I've always loved his blog, and I'm glad to see it coming back. In it, he explains why he's wearing #6, his plans for the season, and his $0.02 on the new signings. I was running low on Gilbertology...

I'm Back Y'All!
Hey guys! Remember me? For a couple years I ran this little award-winning blog. After taking two and a half years off, I decided it was time to return to the blog game. I don't believe in no superstition or anything like that but quitting was just bad luck. I been told that I only played 45 games these past three seasons. That's messed up. Greg Oden messed up! This year, I is gonna top that. The Hibachi is back!

The Gilbert Arenaissance
Yeah, baby! The Gilbert Arenaissance - thats what I be dubbing this season. This year, I gots one goal: win the scoring title and make the all-star team. Last year, I had a conscience. I wasn't my usual assassin self! This year, I'm just going out there to drop 40 a night. Forget assists, forget shooting percentage or that Hollinger cat. I'm gonna make the D.C. plans proud. Unlike Andray, I really am underpaid, and I'ma prove it this year!

Being the NBA '11 Cover Boy!
LeBron was on 2k11, CB4 on Live '11, but I'm also on the cover of an NBA game this year! The PlayStation exclusive NBA '11: The Inside ringed me, sayin' that they couldn't find anyone else and said I was happy to do it, even though I had never heard of the game at that point. Its a funny story though. Due to my little run-in with the man (by the by, guns are bad people!), we had to do the photo-shoot from my halfway crib! Its a good game though. Reminds me a lot of NBA Live 2002. Boy, did I have some good times with that game...

Agent 6th man
It was sad to let #0 go, but after these last couple years, I knew it was time for a change. I saw what Manu [Ginobili] was doing in San Antonio, coming off the bench but being an all-star, and I thought a 6th man of the year award would look nice next to my most improved player trophy and solid gold plaque I treated myself to for making all-NBA second team. Ramon (did you know his name is actually pronounced "ra-mahn", like when Jamaican cats say "hey, mahn"? Crazy stuff.) will start at the point but then I'll come on and play starter minutes. I'm excited.

New Duds
The part of the Bullets change I'm most excited about is that we are finally done with those sea blue Wizards jersey's. Those things was turrible! Not everyone is happy with the new ones, because of them looking like Detroit's, but with a plane logo instead of the team's name, but I'm digging them. We did a photo-shoot the other day, and I think I've found my career after basketball. Gilbert Arenas: fashion model. Has a nice ring, don't it?

Expectations for this year
Don't know about y'all, but I'm excited about the new guys in Washington this year. We got Larry back, who I for one, think is still a top 5 SG in the league. Then we got Darko, a former #2 pick! I think next to me, he can develop into a star. We also got Stevie Franchise's corpse (I kid, Francis has still got it), some Stoudamire guy I've never heard of and Ra-Mahn. For the rooks, we got this Dirk wannabe guy from Lithuania, and a couple scrubs. (gotta love rookie hazing!) I think we can really make some noise! We gots some great locker room personalities now.

That's all I gots for now. Agent Ze- I mean 6 out!

Nice blog, but is it really pronounced "Ra-Mahn"? I doubt it. As a latin american name Ramon is, it's said just like that: Rah-mon.

those jerseys remind me of the pistons unis with the horse. actually i think the wordin of bullets should be there. ie bullets from the plane forming the word Bullets down the side of the jersey to form a retro look.

anthony22, In an old 2K7 association, I averaged 30+ points, 10+ assists and 4 steals per game with him. Hope I can repeat the feat here.

Thierry., I don't think Sessions is Latin. I've been calling him Ramon(e) for the longest time, but the 2K announcers call him Ra-Mahn, as does this article.

puttincomputers, I can see that a little bit. I actually almost went with teal, before realizing that its a hideous color. Unfortunately, as much as 2K's create-a-team has improved, for some reason, you still can't put your team's city/name on the jersey. The Sonics jerseys I made look a bit better though, since the S looks a lot like their logo.

lovin' that GA's back and cocky as ever (Y) he seems to have no indication of RL events... never happened in your dynasty or is he just being obtuse? one thing, don't forget to strikeout the 'Zero' in the blog title graphic for a 'Six' or '6' now

Nice catch, but I think I'll just keep the "Zero" there. Appreciate the feedback though. (Y) Not sure if NBA.com would even let him run a blog if he constantly referred to the gun thing. However, this sentence referenced it:

Don't the Wizards already have both Bullets jerseys in the game, or is it the Zephyrs one I'm thinking of?

Edit: Never mind. I just realized that you probably wanted to change the court to match the jersey.

I know Sessions isn't latin, I'm just saying the name "Ramon" is latin; "Ramón", with the accent. But yeah, "mahn" should do the trick

The jerseys are decent, especially the court since it's hard to get a good court out of the jerseys. THe Arenas blog is awesome, just like Gil sounds. Good job (Y)

Thanks guys. I'm fairly pleased with the jersey and the court. Not the best in the league by any stretch of the imagination, but better than the real Wizards, the Wolves and a couple other teams.

I'm a few games into the season, but I'm not sure how I'm going to recap this. Definitely won't make as long of recaps as for my Clippers (and probably a little shorter than my Wolves). Anyway, I'm torn between doing X-style monthly recaps (like my Hawks but more polished and refined) or doing something similar to my Wolves. I plan on doing the play 29 (all teams), sim 53, though I may forgo it and simply play a third of the games.

Feedback would be welcome. Next up is the team preview, then the season kicks off.

The jersey should have a big gun on it smtg, Arenas would love that.

Looking forward to things. My Wizards style got me though thing quickly and kept me interested. But go with whatever suits you the most. :)
