Congrats on getting through 13 games (Y) You beat Orlando though.... is this backwards land!?!? :P

• Rasheed Wallace: 5+ rpg off the bench on the week :: 2/1 50 against it
• Paul Pierce: 30+ points vs. Philadelphia :: 3/1 100 against it
• Kendrick Perkins: 7+ rebounds against Toronto :: 2/1 50 on it
• Record: 3-0

I voted on moving expirings for a little more depth, aint too much you really need to do with this team.

Can there be a 5th option? My vote is for you to....

- Trade Paul 'Fake Wills Reed' Pierce
- Trade Rajon 'Dirty Defensive Plays' Rondo
- Change the Jerseys color to anything but green
- Move the team away from Boston
- Change the name to anything but the Celtics
- Burn the 17 championship banners and all the retired numbers

Wonderful suggestions right?

NEW YORK, November 22 -- Paul Pierce had a game-high 23 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 91-66 rout of the New York Knicks, on the Madison Square Garden Sunday night. Boston jumped out to an early 12-2 lead after a Rajon Rondo’s drive to the basket and free throw, as the Celtics entered the second period with a 27-16 lead, but Wilson Chandler scored seven points during a 7-2 run by the Knicks to put them down by only 2 midway through the quarter. The game would remain close the rest of the first half, with Marquis Daniels’ shot at the buzzer giving Boston a 39-34 lead at halftime, but it was downhill for the Knicks after that. “That's a topic of discussion on the locker room,” Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said. “We aren't really taking advantage of our home court. We need to do that right now or we won't be competitive.”

New York was held to three field goals in the third quarter -- two within the third minute and the other coming at the 3:51 mark. By that time, New York was down by 19 points, thanks to 14-2 run by Boston, who kept its momentum, stretching the lead to as many as 25 points to win by its largest margin of the week. Pierce also added 9 rebounds and Ray Allen 20 points, while Rondo had 13 points, 10 boards, four assists and five steals. Rasheed Wallace also racked up a double-double with 12 and 10. Chandler (17) and Larry Hughes (13) were the only Knicks to score in double figures; David Lee had 6 points but 11 rebounds. The Knicks only made 6-of-25 shots from beyond the arc, and also were outrebounded, 50-38.

BOSTON, November 25 -- Even Kevin Garnett has a bad game every once in a while. It's just not likely to happen twice against the same squad. Garnett, who had only 10 points last time he played the Sixers (only shot 4-of-12), had 15 points and nine boards Wednesday night to lead the Boston Celtics to a 109-78 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Garnett returned from a left knee tendinitis and shot 6-of-9. Paul Pierce added 29 points as the Celtics broke the game open with a 15-2 run right in the first quarter, 36-12 going into the second.

Ray Allen had 22 points, 9-of-17 from the floor, and Rajon Rondo added 18 points and ten assists (8-of-12 shooting) for Boston. Rasheed Wallace, who has played extensive minutes as a starter taking Garnett's spot in the lineup, only had 5 points back from the bench. Allen Iverson led Philadelphia with 23 points while Elton Brand added 11 and 12 boards. Andre Iguodala, a reported trade target by Boston, added 18. Iguodala said the Sixers made it hard on themselves by failing to execute their offense as the run dragged on and were down by 32 points at halftime. “I didn't know Boston tried to acquire me, but I'm still a Sixer. We might see more news coming the trade deadline,” Iguodala said. “About the game, instead of us coming together, we just went apart from each other. You don't win ballgames like that.” Philadelphia outscored the Celtics 30-16 on the paint, but only shot 3-of-21 from 3-point territory.

Celtics' Pierce-Daniels duo knocks out Toronto

BOSTON, November 27 -- Paul Pierce had 21 points and Marquis Daniels scored 19 off the bench as the Boston Celtics beat the Toronto Raptors, 120-103 Friday night. The Celtics have been looking for consistency all of this season and hope that this win is a step in the right direction as they sit at 14-2, best record in the league. “That is a sign of something,” said Daniels, whose 19 points were a season-high. “Hopefully, this game is where it turns around completely and we can just get on a big winning streak here, something like the Rockets did a couple of years ago.” The Celtics have won four games in a row, but the Rockets won 22 straight games on 2007/08. The upcoming schedule for Boston isn't very favorable -- seven of its next 8 games are on the road, including three games on the West, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Memphis.

“14-2, that's huge for us,” said Pierce. “We've got a lot of work to do still, but we want to try to keep it rolling.” Boston led by 11 at the half, then featured a very close third period, and finally pulled away for good on the fourth after Toronto missed six of its first nine shots. Celtics coach Doc Rivers let Daniels finish the game after starter Ray Allen went 1-for-9 from the field over the first three periods and finished the game with only 8 points. “Marquis was really playing aggressive,” Rivers said. “That's exactly what he's got to do. He gives us energy off the bench and I love the way he's playing as of lately. I just wanted to see him finish the contest, we need to get him going.” In total, thirteen players scored in double figures. Chris Bosh continued his MVP games with 26 points and 17 rebounds (leads the league in rebounds, 15.3), and Hedo Turkoglu added 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists for Toronto. Jose Calderon also posted 14 points to go with 11 dimes, while Marco Belinelli, Andrea Bargnani and Jarrett Jack all had 13 points apiece for Toronto.

“We didn't have enough juice, but we hung in there,” Raptors coach Jay Triano said. “If we could've made a couple of shots in the fourth quarter and cut the Celtics lead down, we might have won.” The Celtics shot an impressive 72 percent from 3-point land (13-of-18), and also outscored Toronto's bench, 52-23. Kevin Garnett (16 points, 12 boards) was out to start the second quarter, but Glen Davis scored twice inside; he finished with a season-high 14 points. Bargnani then complained about a whistle on Boston's next trip and got a technical foul from the referees.

I gotta be honest. I love this Celtics team, and I know I shouldn't be worrying about replies, but this one is getting even less than my previous ones, and it's very frustrating to me. Or I'm starting a last story with a team chosen from a poll. :| As Jae said, I'm running an offline dynasty and go with it, that's the plan if this one doesn't work. I was thinking of a Nets story with huge cap space.

And that will get even less. Don't do it bro.

But here's an idea : Just play this not with the intention of it being a story. If some game Ray-Ray hits like 10 threes, post a recap. If you win by 60, do a recap. You'll get the season over more quickly. It's what Sit did in ALIB II. You just have to keep us informed what record you have and if you want fancy graphics, do special monthly recaps with all the standings and stuff. It will be more fun for you.

I just looked back at my Wizards dynasty. I was in the Playoffs already by the second page. I did extensive weekly recaps and got 5 replies or smtg per recap. I played for the fun of it and I finished the season (Although not the best way). Replies don't matter as much, duration is much more important.

Man, if it wasn't for the betting game, I would still be on the first page. That's what frustrates me. I love ALIB II and your Wizards story, but I don't want to rip them off. :P

If you guys have any ideas for my story presentation, send me a PM... I'm starting a last story with the Nets and if it doesn't work, I'm retiring for the association business for a couple of weeks.

I know man. :shake: I can't help it. It's just that I wouldn't be on the third page if it wasn't for the bets, that's what I don't like. I want to do some sort of X or Sit story with small updates, but I always end up posting pics and doing things that are hard to mantain later. I want to revamp my image for the next one.

And I'm serious. It's the last.

You might have noticed, that I did not post even one time in this one. I just did not take it seriously and I knew this would happen. Just one after another. No one can help you with that, not even with many replies. Actually it's good for me now, because I did not even try to get into this D like your last ones and thus now I am not disappointed.

That is why I don't follow your Ds anymore, sry Thierry. (N) :miserable:

Stop worrying bout the presentation/followers/betting game so much: no posts doesnt mean no followers. Dont get me wrong: im not saying be like me and do the bare minimum, but the second it becomes not fun to do, you're going to get bored and want to quit. I hope you stick with a story man. Nets should be fun to build up but I'm sad to see you bail on this one because unlike most, i dont hate the C's (only one im not a fan of is Sheed). I sorta did the create a team thing because i knew i'd get bored if i did a real team.

I know I said this a gazillion times, but I want to keep it simple. At least 20 members who followed my 16-18 games stories, don't follow me anymore, and I really don't like that. I'm dropping the bets and predictions. I'm dropping the previews. I'm going different with the Nets, I have my new short layout ready, something like a X story. I only want a couple of replies per game. Hope you all follow my Nets when I'm on January. :cheeky:

Why should this work? Is it really the fact that you just put too much work into it? I don't think that anymore. You just want replies, hell you even said that in your post now. That won't work. Making a thread for the sake of replies simply does not work.

Even the best stories did not get many replies at the beginning. And man, you want to be like X or Sit but these guys are just unique. Not everyone can make a story like they did.
What makes their success is their passion for different aspects of the game. Look at X, he's my number one college ball insider on this forum, that's for sure. Sit has a passion for writing, he's got superb writing skills. Valor just has fun with the game, coming up with an update every now and then for about 8 month now. Or Lamrock, a guy who just like to talk about his gaming experience with other fellas (that's actually what me myself and 80% here like to do). What's your passion? Getting replies?

This is your 29th dynasty thread since you joined, 17 for NBA live and 12 for 2k. None of them has gotten further than the Blazers one you did about two month ago. It had 8 pages. Why should anybody want to follow this one. The teams seem to be replacable, just another Thierry. D. It just does not attract any attention anymore.

Starting a dynasty needs a good idea and some great passion to present this idea and talk about it with the NLSC fellas. And even if you don't have the passion or you just want to make a nice lil dynasty than make it like Oznogrd for example. Just post your thoughts, discuss a bit and don't put too much effort into it. But then you might not see many replies.

My last thought is just one thing. Get other hobbies. Get a girlfriend. Get anything that makes you not sitting in front of the NLSC waiting for replies. Sometimes I have two days off from my dynasty and then come back into NLSC and see some replies and I like it. Sometimes I have very much time and just hope for somebody to reply so that I can post more stuff or talk to them. The latter is the worse imho. Just don't make 2k10 the centre of your life. For me it seems like that.

Good luck with the Nets. I might join after you made it to playoffs.

First off thanks hova. Of course, I will never do something like X or Sit. I meant, I want to make something of that style. I also want to share my story with others. I made a poll, then the blog, and didn't get much answers, that's why I got frustrated so easily.

My idea was taking the Nets because of the rebuilding challenge... I think I can pull this one off with VERY, very short recaps, zero pics. :shake:

I'm serious here, this is the sad part, 2k10 was actually the centre of my life this past two months. Didn't have the money to go on vacations, I had to stay at home, I even had to work, still. As you said, hope for somebody to say something, so I can reply back, that's what happened this past two months and that's what frustrates me the most. About the girlfriend, it's easier said than done. :P

I PROMISE, I PROMISE, THIS WILL BE MY LAST STORY.[/b]
