Okay look guys, my game corrupted. All of the saves I previously had are gone. I am going to have to recreate a lot of the things I did, including the record. Good things I was only five games in. But still the draft prospects will have to be recreated and I will get around to that as soon as I can

Huey:-to self- Why did Andre call me here?
-Andre pulls open door and stumbles into passengers seat-
Huey: What the hell Andre? Why do you smell like liquor? Its game night, why did you call me?
Andre Miller: I'm -burp- celebrating.
Huey: Celebrating what? We only won two games in a row.
Andre: I'm celebrating my last.... my last night as a phildawelphia 66ers.
Huey: What are you talking about? I haven't traded you. The team need veteran presence like yours.
Andre: I'm demanding a trade, you don't have to drive me anywhere. I just -long pause-
Huey: ANDRE!
Andre: Oh, I just don't like it here and I.. I won't play another game in that uniform until I am traded.
Huey: Alright, I'll call you a cab and Doug, I gotta' get to Wells Fargo.
Andre: -getting back out- Have a good one Mr Milky Way -long burp-
Huey: -calling Doug Collins-
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At pre-game shoot around

-Doug Collins talking to Huey-
Collins: Oh this isn't good.
Most of team: What is it coach?
Collins: Andre is drunk and demanded a trade to Huey Newton saying he won't play another game for us. With Spencer out, we really have no one to fill up the bench.
Wilson Chandler: Well who can we call this quickly?
Collins: We may have to call a D-league player to get him signed and into uniform quickly.
Evan Turner: But he won't know a single thing to do, especially since were going to be having a back-to-back and the guy hasn't even started the season yet.
Collins: Right now we have no choice until we can move Andre. Alright, lets get back to practice.
-Everyone restarts shootouts-

Andre Miller demands trade, Sixers sign Jackson from Red Claws

AP-Philadelphia, PA|Nov 13 2011

Andre Miller, backup points guard of the Philadelphia 76ers has demanded a trade for no clear reasons. This comes unexpected since they are only a few hours away from game time against the LA Clippers tonight. The 76ers went to their D-league affiliate Maine Red Claws to sign points guard Gary Jackson from Wake Forest university. Its not clear if he will be on the team after tonight's game but he will be needed. Andre Miller, who has averaged 7.2 points per game in 12.8 minutes per game will be missed if his production doesn't bring some help back at the same time. So far no one has been able to reach anyone close to this situation. The only things known so far is that Andre Miller no longer wants to be called a Sixer anymore.

Yeah he's my favorite player to use on offense, only reason Wilson Chandler had more points is because I was forcing things with him

If I actually trade Andre Miller the Bobcats are willing to swap our picks for him

Well where will he play though? The shooting guard position is taken by E.T. and I'm not sure he'd be suitable for the point

On another note. No games today, have to continue my online drivers Ed. Will update tomorrow most likely though.

maybe I'll write something up for some draft picks

Yeah you need more athletic SF , Iggy is out Wilson could play in PF because he's not bad at defensive-in.

Here's intreview with : Mad Skillz - D-Perks

Image

Hello Derrick my name is Dorris Burke I'm from ESPN and I will give you some questions , so let's get started .

All people looking at you and Anthony for the first pick , what do you think ?

Hello , umm I Think if u need points power and rebounds , take me if you need Defensive player Take Anthony , because he's not very athletic , he needs to be stronger to play against power fowards like : Carlos Boozer , Pau , Amar'e . I'm strong and i cant wait to bomb someones basket with my points.

Alright , who are your favorites at this draft ?

If really , i would love to see T-Rob in my team he will do great in this league , probably All-Star if he don't get serious injuries .

Your Numbers in Oak hill academy was outstanding , what you can say about that ?

Well i played hard as I can and I'm ready for NBA .

Thanks for interview Derrick , Good luck in the draft.

Thanks , appreciate it.

By the way , D-Perks is on the top of ESPN mock draft.

Hour before game time

Collins: Alright guys we'll run a few more drills then its back in the locker room to suit up. Gary?
Gary Jackson: Yeah coach?
Collins: Are you ready to play for this team? You've been given less then a day, you even had to wear Iggy's old jersey.
Jackson: I'd say I'm pretty ready coach. I do have some jitters but I'm still confident I'll be alright.
Collins: Alright because if you aren't doing well tonight I don't think you can expect to stay in that jersey for a long while man.
Jackson: I'll be fine, you aren't gonna' play me long anyway right?
Collins: True, I like your attitude though kid, keep it up. You may get a full time job one day.
Jackson: -smiling big- Thanks again, coach.

Turner and Chandler go crazy again toward win

Image

AP- Los Angeles| Nov. 13, 2011

To many this game would have been a loss for the Sixers. And it almost was.

This was a terrible game for the team defensive wise. The Clippers were allowed to score 60 points by the half. To those watching this game was all Clippers until they thought they had this game won. Unitl Venny Del Negro decided to put all the guards on the floor and allowed Evan Turner and Wilson Chandler to tear them up for most of the THIRD -cough- quarter. Despite this questionable choice. The Clippers held on long enough to still lead a little at the end of the third. Then again, Wilson Chandler was slid to the shooting guard position and Evan Turner to point and they again tore up Chauncy Billups and Chris Paul on offense.
On another note, Gary Jackson seemed to cement himself as a passer dishing out 3 assist in 7 minutes. Though Chandler and Turner had to became the offensive catalyst because they weren't getting much more help from players like Danilo Gallinari who hit only 3 for 11 on the floor but being perfect from the stripe. Nobody helped, they didn't care.

In the final seconds Lou Williams nabbed a steal and dished it to E.T. to give them a four point lead. Clipper miss. Free throws for the Sixers, steal. More free throws. The game was won, but the Clippers still tried to hit a buzzer beating three. It went in, but it wasn't necessary. The game was lost. Clipper fan were quiet and 76er players were around celebrating

"We needed someone to hit more consistently tonight," Evan Turner told Doris Burke. "But it didn't happen except from me and Wilson (Chandler). We won but as late as it came down to we need to bring our defense and hit more offensively. Wins don't always come without playing defense."

"I heard about what Evan Turner said and I would agree." Shaq said in the post game wrap up talking to Barkley. "They weren't bringing defense to the table. So it was looking scarce everywhere. This win honestly came as a surprise to me."

Don't do it. Amnesty Miller rather than screwing your team with late first rounder in Nets pick and Liggins. He isn't worth Miller even though he is unhappy and seeking a trade. And Orton will never live up to the potential he has in 2K games.

Lets Reconstruct the Nets, Magic trade

Postby SuperHueyNewton on Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:27 am

Due to fan (albeit two) co-operation. I have decided to try and reconstruct the trade between the Magic and Nets so its fair for all of the teams. I still thought I was being kinda unfair, but it seems I would have been cheating my own team. You can see below

Image

Mostly same deal but added Glen Davis to go to us because we need a big man, and still gave the sixers that Nets 1st rounder our way. Added Q. Richardson to Nets since they would be in slight need there. Also put possible trade of Kris Humphries there and of course Brook Lopez to the Magic.

Again, what do you guys think? Its a lot of moves in the month of November but if you guys think I should pull the trigger. Tell me

For real. For those reading and not responding. It would help, a lot

Magic, Nets talks fall through. Andre Miller traded to Bobcats

AP- New York, New York| Nov 11 2011

It seems that talks have halted between the Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, and Brooklyn Nets as Huey Newton has agreed to send Andre Miller, and a second rounder to Charlotte for their first rounder in this years draft. This comes of little surprise as Andre Miller had requested a trade a few days ago. But its puzzling that the Sixers left talent on the table allowing Andre Miller to go for just a draft pick. Even Jay-Z had came up that the Sixers might have ended up with Glen "Big Baby" Davis. After today though, it seems like Huey Newton would like to wait until the off-season to sign players with more talent than Davis.

The team is also expected to have a press conference after the game outside of Wells Fargo Center with open attendance.

Plan A|Chapter 3: Press Conferance

Postby SuperHueyNewton on Tue Jul 24, 2012 11:50 am

Image

-Andre Miller walking to podium-

Andre: I'd like to thank all the city of Philadelphia for having me here for such a short amount of time. I wish it could it could have been a while longer, but sadly my venture has to end. I'm sorry, but I didn't enjoy being here. This wasn't where my heart was, I hope you all understand and will invite me back soon. Um... I'd like to thank Mr. Huey Newton completing a trade for me to land in Charlotte, a place I hope to end my career after such a long one. You all should visit the Bobcat game when the Sixers host us in a few days. I don't want this to end negatively, at all. I wish you all the best of luck. See you again in a few days.

-starts to walk off but remembers questions-

Reporter: Andre! Right here!
What made you request a trade to leave the Philadelphia organization? Your production was appreciated, you played a lot. So why leave?

Andre: I didn't feel welcome here. I was mostly scolded by the staff, other players. Not saying names. I was also drunk so it wasn't the clearest thought to have -nervous laugh-

-Crickets-

Marvin Mars: You say you would like to retire wearing a Bobcat jersey. Will this be your final year of play?

Andre: I hope not, but I hope when its said and done I'm still represented by a team. Right now, hopefully the Bobcats. That will be all for me for tonight.

-walks to seat being booed by fans-

-Huey Newton approaches stand-

Huey: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for attending on such short notice. I know I have conducted a lot of moves of the past few weeks and have heavily shook up this roster. My deepest apologies for the players that had to leave but I hope most of you are happy by the changes made. As for the Andre trade, it hurts me a little. The team did need his veteran presence. And though he played in Philly before, it doesn't seem like he wanted to be here again. It is said, but we all have to conduct moves in order to build this roster in the future.

I hope to make this team a championship and this year has started very well, even though we get bullied inside and still need a pure point guard that can start. We hope to acquire at least one of these players with freaks of nature like Tyler Rooks or Drazen Petrovic. This teams best interest is always with me. And though I had to move Andre to do it, it'll be alright. I would also like to thank Andre for his time here. Now we can begin any questions.

Mars: As you said, your making moves to better the team. And since you were in talks with the Nets and Magic. We all may have expected to see Big Baby in a Sixers jersey. What happened exactly?
Huey: Well... I asked the locker room, fans, even staff if they would agree with this trade. It appeared to them that it wouldn't be in the teams best interest for any reason. No offense to Davis, but we most likely wouldn't have taken his contract due to his performance this year.

Reporter: Are you planning to make any more moves in the near future?

Huey: Um... No not unless we are approached with an offer we can agree with. But most likely not until the deadline or this off-season. I want the team's chemistry for the future.

Reporter: Are you willing to make changes if there is a breakdown?

Huey: It is very likely, because this team wants to win. We don't want to have teams get away with wins from us multiple amounts of time.
Reporter: Has Doug Collins had heavy input with any of your moves this season?
Huey: No. Honestly, right now, here, where I am, last I checked. I'm in charge. I do not have my ideas go through Doug. No matter what they are.

Mars: Would you like to make a rivalry with the Bobcats?

-Huey looks at Mars, then Fargo Center-

Huey: Why yes I would

-Security cuts off reporters as Newton walks off stage questions still being barreled at him.-

You've got your rivalry Huey
Sixer lose close one to Bobcats

Image

AP- Charlotte, North Carolina| Nov 17, 2011

Well you asked for it.
A few days ago, general manager expressed he wanted to create a new rivalry with the Bobcats after trading Andre Miller there. Well put one on the scorecard for the Bobcats. It was close for a majority. The 76ers had a 10 point lead at one section of the game but was quickly drained away by a newfound Bobcats defense and running the fastbreak. You could tell that this one was a disconcerting loss for the Sixers. The game was in their grasp. But bad shots cost them

Lou Williams gave the Sixers a one point lead after making a three but after a Bobcat bucket. The team chose to foul. Costing them the game. Lou Williams tried to bust another three but it didn't fall and the Philadelphia 76ers received the first loss of the new rivalry

"I wasn't excited towards the end." Evan Turner revealed. "I wasn't playing at my greatest because of my finger and it cost us plain and simple. There was still very inconsistent shooting by us. Took a lot of shoots we should have made, but missed a lot of them. It hurt to lose such a close one. But we'll have to live with it and get ready for our next game."

The 76ers will head to Miami Monday to try to get out of their two game losing streak. The player of the game was Tyrus Thomas*

'Quite a combo'

AP- Miami, Florida| Nov 20, 2011

Image

Coming off a loss to the Warriors and Bobcats, the 76ers weren't going to get a easy task of winning against the Second place Miami Heat. Around the league it was expected to go the Heat without much resistance, but still ended up going to the Sixers.
The game was tied going into the forth quarter but the Heat lost the game for themselves. They started making careless turnovers and Philadelphia capitalized by hitting threes. The Heat's eight point lead quickly turned into a two point deficit. Evan Turner was a big part of the rally back with 45 points at the final buzzer and Wilson Chandler having 32 himself. With the two getting so many points in this game pretty much carrying it, Steve Kerr called them 'Quite a combo' together. They certainly were. Evan Turner got most of his seven assists coming from Wilson Chandler capitalizing.
The Heat wanted this game, The Sixers wanted it more. As you would have seen when the final buzzer finally rang.

"Now that's what I call a win!" Wilson Chandler shouted in his post-game interview. "E.T. (Evan Turner) just went crazy tonight. It pumped us all up. If it wasn't for him I don't know how this game would have gone. It could have most likely have been a loss."

When asked how much this game meant for Evan Turner, since he hit another career high in the same season he answered. "Coulda hit fifty. Ha. But you know in this game we were heavily doubted because we don't have as much talent as the Miami Heat but we were the ones coming out with the win and it feels good putting up a whole bunch on a great team."

The 76ers will head to Dallas to take on the defending champions Dallas Mavericks and the Heat will play Atlanta at home. Both in two days.

Two forty point games in one week by 'The Combo'

AP- Philadelphia, PA| Nov 26, 2011

Image

In tonights game against the New York Knicks the Philadelphia 76ers shot them out of the gym in the rout. We actually saw defense come out of this game by the team and it was a good vision. Both teams were able to force plenty of turnovers as both had more than 15. Wilson Chandler, Evan Turner, and Danilo Gallinari pumped out good games from all three but Chandler's being the best of them all. He scored a career best 40 points. Earlier in the week against the Heat Evan Turner turned 40. Fanbases are getting their share of bandwagoners for the Sixers as they are becoming one of the top team in the East quickly showing that against the Knicks.
The Sixers had the game won at the end of the third quarter when the were leading by 16 points and never let the Knicks back within 8. The 76ers ended up winning the game by 24 with great shooting from four of the five Sixer starters. Gallinari ended with 20 points, Lou Williams ended with 21 points, Evan Turner added 29, followed by Wilson Chandler 40. The team is looking powerful after such a blowout even though the Knicks are stuggling to get out of the middle of the pack. The 76ers are first in their division and have earned second place in the Eastern Conference.
Fans couldn't ask for more by the end of the game as the future stars of the league were finally on their team. The Philadelphia 76ers will head to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers this Tuesday.

Evan Turner Player of the Week

Evan Turner Gets first ever POTW honors

AP-New York, NY| 11/26/11

Shortly after the big win against the New York Knicks. It was told to Evan Turner that he received the Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career. He's only in his second season getting player of the week honors. He could get even more and maybe a shot at the MVP award one day. In the team press conference he told reporters.

"This is a real achievement for me. I wouldn't have expected getting such an honor. I didn't get rookie of the month last year so to be able to get this award is a huge leap and it feels great. If it weren't for my teammates i most likely wouldn't have gotten this honor. I'm proud of it and shoot I'm buyin' a trophy saying 'Easter Conference Player of the Week.' I mean its just that important to me.

The 76ers will now head to Cleveland in an away game.

In the game against the newly placed Brooklyn Nets, the Philadelphia 76ers got competition from the team but came out victorious. The game featured a back and forth affair that lasted all the way into the forth quarter. Neither team wanted to lose their grasp of the lead. But of course, guess who took over again? Don't worry I'll wait.
Evan Turner and Wilson Chandler and this time Lou Williams went berserk in the forth quarter and end of fourth quarter. Lou Williams came out the victor of the Williams vs Williams battle against Deron Williams. (L) Williams forced Deron to turn the ball over a lot and gave Louis 5 steals by the end of the game. Evan Turner also turned up the pressure by forcing a lot of turnovers, also getting 5 steals. Off these steals came fast breaks that allowed quick points for the Sixers to push their lead by having as much as a 10 point lead.
Danilo Gallinari fouled out of this game but still produced point ending his time on the court with 17 points. Wilson Chandler was having an almost flawless night only missing two shots from three ending with game high 31 points. Turner wasn't as consistent but still had around 50% shooting ending with 29 himself and Williams chasing with 21. This game put the Sixers on top of the East over Miami by a full game.

Following the win in the post-game team conference stated. "I am extremely proud of the performance out all us tonight. We played like a team and had a convincing win. We're cooperating like a family. Its great that we can perform like this and I hope it last all the way to the playoffs and beyond."

Deron Williams also had his own statements post-game. "I think the main reason for our loss was my lack of ball-handle. I don't want to let these guys down like this. I didn't play like I'm capable and I apologize to all the fans for tonight's performance." Deron didn't answer any questions after that.

That game ended the month of November on a high note for the 76ers and will host New Orleans on the Second of December.
