Grand Theft 2K11 : DUB Edition, he's not active anymore so i didnt see why i should bother making him. plus since Ch4os decided to move up it was okay since there would still be a bottom group for the 2nd round...if not all the NLSCers this year would have been 1st rounders

as far as money-wise...i had A LOT of cap space since I traded Kaman last season and got Eddy Curry in return...obviously i did not re-sign Curry so his contract is off my books

than an the only C the Sixers had was Spencer Hawes...Vince Sleepy has a lot of potential and fits them better than Iggy fits

On Thierry's Jet

KJ thinking to himself, "It was nice to see Rasual and his family one last time....and Andre is really excited to be coming to LA...I can't wait"

Pilot, We will be arriving in San Antonio in about 30 minutes."

[..10 minutes later..]

KJ on his phone, "Alright, all the workouts are scheduled. Should be an interesting next few days in LA. I wonder what Thierry wants...?"

Pilot, "Attention, attention. We will be rerouted to LAX. According to Mr. Tirieux we will no longer need to stop in San Antonio."

KJ, "What? Why?"

Pilot, "Mr. Tirieux sent this message for you."

KJ, "Huh? What message?"

The lights dim and a video screen appears and Thierry comes on, sitting at his desk

TT, "ahem, KidJustin? If you got this, I'm sorry but something urgent came up."

TT, "We are going to have to reschedule for another time."

TT, "Again sorry for the inconvenience, but please if you need anything just let my pilot know."

TT, "Okay, I will let you know. Bye"

On the screen TT reaches over to turn off the video message.

Just as this is happening, KJ notices a mysterious figure right behind Thierry! And Thierry doesn't seem to know!

KJ, "Thierry! Thierry! Hello!? How does this thing work?"

KJ, "Pilot! Pilot! Connect me to Thierry!"

KJ gets on his phone and tries to call Thierry....no service

The plane eventually lands at LAX where KidJustin gets off and is picked up. As he is being driven to the practice facility he continues to make calls. Eventually someone picks up.

KJ, "Hello Tim?"

Tim Duncan, "Uh yea? Who's this?"

FREE AGENT WORKOUTS

The NBA Draft has come to an end and now it is time to focus all the attention on those players that have been in the NBA. The Clippers are a young team and with new GM KidJustin, the organization had a turn for the better. There is a nice core in stars Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin, veterans in Baron Davis and the newly acquired Andre Iguodala, and then the young prospects Eric Bledsoe, Al-Farouq Aminu, Willie Warren, and rookie JaJuan Johnson. There is currently a glaring hole at Center and that is where the Clippers hope to re-sign DeAndre Jordan as well as build a strong bench of free agents. It is GM KidJustin's job to find the right players that will fit the team, which is why he called up a few players for workouts at the Clippers Training Facility in Playa Vista, CA to get a better look at this years Free Agent class as well as get an idea of their interest in the team. The main issues that need to be addressed for the Clippers are backup swingmen and bigs. Today the bigs came in for workouts, below are some of the note:

He could help us very much in defending the middle...if he was only bulkier. He really gets up too, which will help B.Diddy throw lobs. Ryan is a good guy and local too, coming from UCLA, but I'm just not sure how well he will fit. Not sure why he didn't extend his contract, but he's young enough to possibly still land somewhere.

He had a falling out in New Orleans so he is definitely available if we want him. Aaron has a big frame and he knows exactly how to use it to be effective in the paint. A true big man and still young. A real possibility for us as a starter or a bench player.

He seems to have trouble on defense because he lacks a wide wingspan, but he more than makes up with it in effort. He is a great guy to be around and a great personality that fits in with the new culture the team is looking for. Oh yea and Kim Kardashian (his wife) can join Jessica Alba (Baron's best friend's wife) court side. Yay!

And he still has a lot of potential to grow. While his athletic style of play will match perfectly, it is his 3 Point shooting is something we really need on this team. He will most likely be one of the top free agents available. It may be hard to sign him to a reasonable contract with the amount of offers he will be getting.

Marcus Thornton, SG

Last Played: 2010-11, New Orleans Hornets Age: 24 NBA Years: 3 Expected Salary/Years: $19.01M/3Yrs Contract: Restricted FA Strength Scoring Weakness Passing, Playmaking Workout Notes The former second round pick has really blossomed playing along side Chris Paul. He is a spark plug style scorer that we could use behind Eric Gordon. He is still young so many other teams may offer him other opportunities to start. The Hornets can also match any offer if they want, meaning he will probably be a Hornet unless another team overpays for him.

Michael Redd, SG

Last Played: 2010-11, Milwaukee Bucks Age: 31 NBA Years: 12 Expected Salary/Years: $3.03M/1Yr Contract: Unrestricted FA Strength 3PT Specialist Weakness Old Age, Defense, Injuries (Knee) Workout Notes Redd has clearly a shell of his former self, but he did show use he can still hit the outside shot. How well he will do in 5-on-5 action, let alone an actual game, is still uncertain. We do need a shooter, so if the price is right and he is willing, he may be an option for us at the end of the bench-type player that we can have during special situations.

Allen Iverson, SG

Last Played: 2010-11, Washington Wizards Age: 36 NBA Years: 16 Expected Salary/Years: $3.45M/1Yr Contract: Unrestricted FA Strength Scoring, Quickness, Steals, Toughness Weakness Selfish, Lost a Step, Questions on Durability Workout Notes Iverson showed flashes of his old self last season with the Wizards, but he is clearly no longer one of the top players in the league. Even though he still thinks he is. We could use the bundles of scoring he can provide, but he would have to accept the role behind Eric Gordon. We have no plans of finding a player to put ahead of Gordon. We will track this veteran because he is still serviceable, but rumors speculate he might sign with the "Other" LA team...

Tracy McGrady, SF

Last Played: 2010-11, Detroit Pistons/Chicago Bulls Age: 32 NBA Years: 15 Expected Salary/Years: $5.35M/1Yr Contract: Unrestricted FA Strength Veteran Experience, Knockdown Jump Shooter, Playmaking Weakness Not as Athletic, Questions in Durability Workout Notes I believe Tracy has welcome his new place in the league and would be willing to play off the bench. He did start a number of games for the Bulls and showed that he can still score without being the focus of the offense. He can also help relieve ball pressure with his steady ball handling. This may comedown to how much the Bulls want to keep him and how much Tracy wants in his new contract.

Reggie Williams, SF

Last Played: 2010-11, Golden State Warriors Age: 24 NBA Years: 3 Expected Salary/Years: $17.10M/3Yrs Contract: Restricted FA Strength Scoring Weakness Not Athletic, Defense Workout Notes Clearly all this guy knows is how to score, which isn't a bad thing. He also doesn't have a problem coming off the bench. Reggie is clearly on our radar, but only at the right price. He has really made himself known around the league and will probably want a big pay raise after season with a contract as an undrafted free agent. However, the Warriors will have the right to match any contract he is offered.

Ricky Davis, SG

Last Played:2009-10, Los Angeles Clippers Age: 31 NBA Years: 13 Expected Salary/Years: Minimum Contract: Restricted/Unrestricted FA Strength Veteran Leadership, Energy Weakness Lost a Step/Athleticism, Turnovers, Injury Problems (Knee) Workout Notes Ricky Buckets...He has had better days than his last stint with the Clippers, but just as he was getting his groove back he was waived and then went to play overseas. I thought it would be a great chance to give him another chance and see what he still has. His veteran presence will really help the young guys even if he doesn't play much this season, and he will most likely be low cost and available, though there might be better options.
