Here's an idea, how bout they let use choose whether to use the R-analog or the t-meter via an option.

while i like the new method of shooting FTs i will easily admit the t-meter was more realistic for me. I have no issue popping 90% of FTs with Ben Wallace/Shaq caliber FT shooters. While occasionally i get the left or right thing; it tends to happen to me with my good shooters. Maybe i focus more when i have the shitty shooters in. I like the idea of an option though, i know alot of people who have trouble with the new way.

T-Meter. For some reason no matter what an with which player,I haven't hit the first FT for like 8-9 times out of ten.

I like the new system better and have no trouble making shots with it. Although it depends on the animations. If I control Steve Francis, or anybody with that FTRitual, I'll probably miss...

i like the challege that the right analog stick brings, especially at end-game situations.
