Create a Player on Dynasty

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this board but I have a question. I'm created a player on NBA live 07 on PC and I had a great season, but my players rating went down. I had them participate in training with an A- Assistant and still his rating goes down. When I did this on the PS2 version, I had no probs, but on PC it made me lose star high flyer, just leaving me with star stopper... So im just asking does anyone have any tips or tricks when doing this in dynasty? I also started out with an 85 and made the player young as I was in 2007 which was 18

With the PC version, you can edit the hidden work ethic and destiny attributes to ensure that your player has great potential and the best possible chance of improving. Those are the things that determine whether or not a player improves, your actual performance with the player is irrelevant.

What you'll need to do is make a backup of your Dynasty (just in case something goes wrong), download DB Commander (available in our Downloads section) and open the players.dbf file. Locate your player - searching by surname or first name usually works best - and scroll across to the right until you find the DESTINY column. Once you've made your changes, keep scrolling right until you find WORKETHIC.

Thanks man... but the problem is now that I cannot find my created player on there...

Make sure you're opening the right players.dbf file. You need to open the one that's located in your Dynasty save folder, if he's in the rosters he has to be in the database.

Ok... Where do you go for the dynasty one because all I see is the original rosters?

It'll be in the saves folder, in the folder with the name you've given to your Dynasty save.
