I tried all that stuff and nothing seems to work..:( what i'm experimenting is with converting everything to nba live '06 . It seems like '06's game engine is more stable. '08 i get the same crashes..probably due to the amount of files i have in my sgsm. I'm still going to release the demo for '07 but I am getting a little frustrated with the crashes.

What about emptying some sgsm space by importing the .fsh files -> their respectful .viv files???

tried that too luke lol...

you know of any decent aiact files for '06? I hate how it seems like it the gameplay is majority fastbreaks. i like the halfcourt game..seems more realistic.

07 and 08 have some limits on double resolution patches which 06 doesn't, so 06 certainly might be the way to go.

I'd recommend checking out PDub's aiact update for 06 that's included in the NBA Live PC Project; it's also included in the roster only version if you're after a smaller download.

Dude, split your sgsm & put the game into 2 different locations (i.e external hard drive) and shortcut the exe file...then you can have the euro teams & classic teams as 2 seperate nba live 08 folders/sgsms with less files...

I havent forgot about the dornas either man, i been sick last couple weeks so havent done nothing but I lost my job today so I guess I got time on my hands now :(

ok i figured it out i think?... the nba live 07 engine must have a limit on the amount of custom teams you can create. I remember having issues last year with crashing also. so basically if i just replace the 29 default nba teams this should solve the issue. better for you guys but more work for me...

so this im thinking of creating 3 seperate classic rosters.

29 teams of nba champions
29 teams of nba runner ups (ex. 96 sonics,62 lakers)
29 teams of classic national teams and euroleague champs...

I have the majority of nba champs and runner ups..but i only have about 6 nationa teams l and euroleague champs..so give me your list of teams you guys want..but they have to be champions and have enough referenc epics to create the team.

let me organize the euro teams into a new save file and i'll send that for a demo

Now that you mention it, that limitation does sound familiar. Seems like a good compromise. (Y)

andrew,

I replaced the speech file from '08 to '07 and it works fine. Now marv albert says the national team names like in '08. I tried to replace the whole audio folder from '08 to '07 but encountered a crash. do you know which files in the audio folder are interchangeable?

Still looks pretty good to me. (Y)

Trial and error should narrow down the incompatible sound files, if you give it a shot I'd be interested to know which ones are compatible for future reference. Right now I'm working on getting the 08 current rosters polished up and converted for use with 2005-07, if you haven't had time to check it out by the time I've finished up with that I'll give it a shot myself. :)

Bayag. there's a trick i used to correct that center line or any other line issue. just divide your center line image into two color, so, if you want to have it white and green and the image resolution is let's say 32X32, so it's going to be 32X16 white on the left and 32X16 green on the right. then. if actual baselines and center lines colors are different and they tend to use the same color in court file, you do this - select baselines (or any other lines that interfere), open UV map editor, and resize their mapping to correct color (so in this case, if lines are white, just drag that part that it's on the green side of the image to white side). same with the other color.

I hope it helped.

In this way you may have as many colors as you want per court using only one image :)
