Boston celtics need a three point shooter point gaurd backup

Postby Cleveland wins on Sat Jan 09, 2010 8:35 am

I am currently doing a boston celtic dynasty online with the currect updates, and here's my lineup.

Centers-r.wallace, k.perkins, s.williams, d.harrison
powerforwards-k.garnett, glen davis
small forwards-p.pierce, a.morrison, b.walker
shooting gaurd-r.allen, t.allen, jr.giddens
point gaurds-rondo, house, hudson

I traded marquis daniels and someone elese for adam morrison to the lakers, i signed harrison to a long term contract just in case we can't resign shedlon williams whom i love. So here's my problem, i need a three point shooting point gaurd to either back up rajon rondo or to start, just in case i can't resign rondo. Almost everyone is tradable except for harrison my center, hudson whom i'm working on and glen davis whom i am a big fan of and i'm also working on him. But everyone elese is very tradable, in fact ray allen is in his contract year and i'm not going to resign him so i can free up roster space. I'm getting reading for the summer of stars free agent market next summer. Can anyone help me make a trade for a three point shooting point gaurd? I don't care if he's young or a verteran, one player i would love to have is mike bibby, i don't know if the hawks have roster space or not. ALthough i don't want a non star who is a veteran three point shooting gaurd, if its a veteran he has to be at least 70 over all and not declining, i'm still in my first year, if he's a young player his overall rating has to be at least 66. Oh yeah i'd kind of like to keep perkins because i can develop his mid range shot a little, but if i have to trade him i would. The main point gaurd that i want are mike bibby, gilbert arenas and maybe steve nash, but he's getting to old now and maybe has one or two years left but maybe that's fine because, he can help us win a championship now. I want to win a championship win the next two years, either this season or next season, so far we're number 3 moved up from number 4 in the power rankings.

Boston celtics update getting ready for the summer of stars where there will be players like lebron james, dwade and others as free agents. In our first year the celtics defeated the san antonio spurs in a sudden death nba finals series to win the nba championship, simulating the seasons. Now i made a bunch of trades in order to clear cap space to get ready for this summer's super free agent market. Hopefully there will be plenty of stars if the cpu doesn't resign them all, I forgot what the rookie draft will be like but i check and its either a strong or very strong draft, i forgot which one. What a great offseason it will be for the celtics! I made trades to get as many expensive players who will be free agents this summer as possible, and with those trades i'm down to over 49 million over the cap. But here's the good part, i have over 52 million dollars worth of free agents! So since i won't resign anyone, not even my young players, i should be at least 2 or 3 million under the cap. Here is my curernt roster.
Centers
A.Bargnani
K.Perkins-free agent
_____________
Powerforwards
P.Millsap
A.Bargnani
_____________
Small forwards
Paul Pierce-Free agent
J.Chilldress-Free agent i think
A.Morrison
________________
Shooting garuds
J.Richardson-Free agent
J.Crawford-Free agent
J.Salmons-Free agent

I will not resign one free agent when the time comes to resign them, i may sign Kendrick Perkins if i can't find an offensive big man who's better than perkins. By offensive big man i mean someone center or powerforward who can either shoot the midrange shot and or the three point shot, i want someone to replace Garnett and Sheed, especially Sheed who can shoot from downtown, i desire so much to have another three point shooting big man, who can start along side Bargnani, who is my favorite player on this team, who can shoot threes as well. I may or may not sign a veteran this summer, but i definitely want at least one young player under the age of 25. I know the positions that i'll need to fill this summer starting with the rookie draft, shooting gaurd, point gaurd and small forward. Adam morrison maybe developed nicely by the time the summer comes, i have to start training him, right now its Paul Millsap and some other player i forgot who. I know i won't have a chance to get Lebron James, because cleveland will probably resign him, as much as i love the guy, i really don't want him right now. He takes up too much cap space, i want one big star who's in the same league as maybe a Dirk Norwitzski or something. And two or three lesser stars who are up and coming, and who are 1 to 3 year pros. I wish i would resign Perkins because he's one of my favorite defensive big men but, he's gonna want too much money i think and he doesn't have much outside offense, his rebounding and blocking are excellent though and that's what i'll miss. But i can always draft a good rebounding center in the 2nd round, in fact if i can find some team with roster space, which there are hardly any of them out there, i'll probably trade one of my lesser players and and 2nd round draft pick for some teams' first round pick and one of there garbage players, someone rated in the low 60's i mean. For a few years now the celtics have been know as one of the great defensive teams in the pass 2 or 3 years, at least 2. But i'm taking control and trying to make them a greater, offensive team, i want a mixer of young players and veterans. But not mostly old or mostly young, but a nice mixer, and a nice mixer of stars, but not stacked, and young up and coming players. My dynasty is about a month or two into the season and we're struggeling a bit, last time i check we were 9-7, i'm thinking of scouting a shooting gaurd and center, i'd love to have a center who's at least 7'1, and a good three point shooting shooting gaurd, and it'll be good if he can dunk the ball as well. So if you'd like to reply, tell me what do you think about what i'm doing with this team? Do you think i should have kept the team intact? Meaning keeping Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Garnett? I want to win now, but, i'm also willing to build for the future and have a good team for many years to come.

Yeah thanks, i was able to sign pp after the rookie draft, but i wasn't able to get any big star or even the lesser names and i had around $2 million or so under the cap. I'm still doing the dynasty.
