kindly help me in my nba live 07 problems!

hi andrew!
since nba live 2004 i been a avid fan of nba live series!!!

and right now im so crazy about nba live 07 even if its very old now ! but im having problems with it regarding its dynasty mode!!
this is the story around it.

i installed the nlsc roster in my nba live 07. because i want to play micheal jordan ! with that i also use db commander 2000 to edit/create my all- star team in one team. i also edit my all-star player's contract so that i could play them for long time ! Also with micheal jordan , i even edit his birthday and experience so that he would not retire. But the problems is that when i play dynasty mode ,after 1 month in dynasty calender my nba live 07 hangs up ! and i cannot play my nba dynasty anymore. and an error occurs saying error in dbf database. (player.dbf) for example i start a dynasty in october , i can play all the games ! but when i play the first game in november my nba live hangs up and exit from the program automatically! hope you can help me with this problem!!!

and also how can i edit the salary cap of my team !!!!!!!!

i will apreciate any help from you !!!!!!!!!!

It's likely that there's an invalid value somewhere in players.dbf. I couldn't say where, locating someone else's database errors is like finding a needle in a haystack. I would recommend starting over and making a few changes at a time and then testing (ie simming past the first month) to make sure everything is working. That way, we can hopefully pinpoint where you might have gone wrong and address that.

but hey andrew are u also making a sound patch for micheal jordan wherein his name could be called and not his jersey number?
because i wanted to hear the name of Micheal Jordan whenever he makes a wonderful plays/dunks.

We can't edit the sound files in NBA Live 07, unfortunately.

until what yrs of contract is allowable to put in player's contract when you edit that in db commander?

I believe that column only allows for two digits, so probably 99. So realistically you could edit a player's contract to run for 10-15 years and ensure they play their entire career for your team if you wanted.

No, you can't change the number of games in Dynasty Mode, either through in-game options or by any means of editing that we know of.

Check out this tutorial. It was written for NBA Live 2005 but the steps should remain the same; just substitute NBA Live 07 for NBA Live 2005.

I check out and follow the guide but when i sim the game the game crash and close ! is this guide only for 82 games ? bec i want to make my season mode 29 games continue into dynasty mode ! Is it possible ! thanks and regards

Most likely. I don't think you're going to be able to get a 29 game season into Dynasty Mode since as I said before Dynasty Mode only supports 82 games.
