A question about SGSM

Postby ahriman on Mon Aug 24, 2009 12:38 am

Hi,

i'll try to keep it short

Installed nba live 07 back in the days since then downloaded Andrew's great roster patch and added a few CF's/uniforms/courts made by other great patchers we have... everythings working great.
i need to format my pc so the question would be - if i simply make a backup of my saves (from "my documents") and the "sgsm folder" (from within nba live directory) after i have installed the game on the new pc is it enough to simply put my saves and sgsm folder back into their designated places in order to have the same game i had before the format ??? or do i need to copy some other files besides the sgsm ??
appreciate the help

P.S. i cant simply install all the patches again coz i dont have them and i dont really remember all the changes i've done

Did you get....

Any camera patches? If so, the MERLIN directory needs to be backed up
Any AI or animation patches? If so, the AI and ANIM directory need to be backed up
Any full menu or full portrait package packes? If so, the FE directory needs to be backed up
Any shoes added like Real Shoes? If so the LOC directory needs to be backed up
Any front end music patches? If so, the LOC directory and the AUDIO/MUSIC directory need to be backed up
Any simulation engine patches? If so, the SIMENG directory needs to be backed up
Any intro/cutscene patches? If so, the scripter directory needs to be backed up

like i said i just used andrews roster patch and added a few CF's, uniforms and courts by other patchers... but basically i dont mind backin up all these (mentioned above), the question is whether its enough for me to just copy those folders back into the NBALIVE07 directory once i've reinstalled the game ? if thats how it works i'll back it all up

thanks for the quick response Pdub (Y)
