how to convert 08 rosters to 07?

08 to 07 is fairly easily. You can pretty much just copy the players.dbf and appearance.dbf files from an 08 roster save to an 07 roster save, 08 has some extra fields in players.dbf but NBA Live 07 will ignore them. NBA Live 08 has different shoes though so once you've copied the files over and made sure that everything is working, you'll need to go through all the players and make sure they have shoes assigned. If a player is assigned shoes that don't exist in NBA Live 07 they'll have blank, white shoes and will need to be edited accordingly. That of course can easily be done in-game through Edit Player.

i put player and appearance.dbf to 07 roster.
it can play game.
but i open a dynasty mod.

when the first season finish,it crash.

Any one of about a million different possible reasons; I'll need some more info.

Specifically, the exact error messages you get when it crashes (if any) and whereabouts the game crashes when you try to play a Dynasty game. If you could post everything you did (ie all of the exact steps) while trying to convert the roster I might be able to pinpoint a problem there, or perhaps a step that I left out of my previous instructions.

i just copy 08 roster's player.dbf and appearance.dbf.
then put them to the 07 'roster..
......
......
....
when the dynasty crash,just back to the table,no any warn sign appearance .

Try copying faces.dbf over as well.

dude, what roster patch are you using????

Cause I have tried the ALBYS RR7 or 8 (cant remember), and that were also happening to me, it crashes after one season in the dynasty mode, AND I cannot fix that one if you want to have a good dynasty try using andrew's roster NO PROBLEM IN SEASON AND IN DYNASTY,

I have heard that people have had difficulty converting RR7 for use with 08 so that could be it.
