I don't know how to stop players from retiring but as for injuries, if you don't want injuries then, go to options and either under dynasty settings turn off injuries.

If you're playing the PC version you can keep modifying their date of birth so that they're younger; it's not a bad idea to lower their years pro and give them a high DESTINY rating either. If you're playing the console version however there's nothing you can do to keep players from retiring.

A version that is released for a gaming console (in the case of NBA Live 07 that would be PS2, PSP, Xbox and Xbox 360) as opposed to the PC DVD-ROM release. So basically, if you don't have the PC DVD-ROM version none of the information I posted applies.

Change the settings from the main menu, save them, then copy the settings.dat file to your Dynasty save folder.
