anybody who can help me how to use DB commander 2000 pro?..how can i edit nicknames of the nba players through this?...pls...pls...pls...any help will be much appreciated...

You can assign nicknames by editing the NICKNAMEID in players.dbf. These values correspond to values which you'll find in nicknames.dbf.

To add a new nickname to nicknames.dbf, simply scroll to the bottom of the file in DB Commander and press the down arrow key to start a new line. Enter the next available ID number (ie if the last one is 220, use 221) and enter the new nickname as desired. You can then assign this ID number to any player by editing their NICKNAMEID field in players.dbf.
