help me before I die!

I really love NBA Live 07 and its the only basketball game I have. Today I tried installing it and it installed ok. So I'm like "yey I get to play some basketball this weekend". Well, it installed and I go to click play and it says "Please insert DVD into drive." I'm like WTH!, it is in there! So I need your help to solve this problem. Is there a way I can play without the disc? I need all the help I can get.

we can't discuss no-dvd play in here. maybe your DVD is too scratched?

I see no big scratches on it.

NBA Live 07 can be troublesome like that. Sometimes reinstalling it a few times corrects problems like that; it seems to be the luck of the draw with 07.

I have reinstalled many times now. Should I try on someone elses computer?

Definitely worth a try if you've got that option.

I tried it on someone elses computer and IT WORKED! So now I am happy and sad because I know it works, but it won't work for me. What is wrong?

Hard to say without knowing a bit more about your computer and the one you tried it on. I'd be inclined to check out the support section on EA's website and maybe email them about the problem (there should be a form in their support section).
