My Boston Celtics dynasty

Postby Lauie on Thu Oct 23, 2008 9:38 pm

I am currently starting my 6th year. Won the NBA Championship last year!
This is my team
C-Andrew Bogut 87
PF-Tim Pena 90 (1st overall Pick 2008)
SF-Paul Pierce 92
SG-Jason Richardson 87
PG-Steve Nash 86
PG-Baron Davis 86
PF-Elton Brand 86
SG-Richard Hamilton 81
SF-Dominique Parker 81 (No.5 Pick 2007)
C-Shelden Wiliams 76
What would yous rate this team on a scale of 1-10? Any thoughts to improve the team in the long run?

There must be a glitch because Dominique Parker was drafted the year after Shelden Williams but it says Dominique Parker was drafted in 2007, the year Shelden Williams was drafted

I give this team a 9, i mean you should have a good team because you have a combination of veterans and young players. I like that pf tim pena, you must have been in a good position in the draft to get him plus you have a good back up sf to pierce. Did you get a good scout by the way? It seems like you're training sheldon williams since he's 76, are you? I love your power forwards and point gaurds, in the off season i think that you should scout a point gaurd because of your aging point gaurds. But i'm glad that you have veterans on your team, experience=wins.

I'd rate it a 9 or 10 in terms of being able to assemble an awesome roster but I probably wouldn't go for such a lineup myself as I find stacked teams a bit boring to use.

i dont really scout, or research rumours, i just sim games, but i get the best of each staff. No i dont train shelden williams at all, i think its just he has good potential and he is learning the ropes from a good center like andrew bogut

If you mostly sim then that's definitely a fine lineup to have. Such lineups tend to get a bit boring in gameplay though as you find yourself padding stats and going for numbers rather than playing a competitive game.
