HELP-RR8 TO NBA LIVE 07

just want to ask is albys RR7 compatible with NBA live 07??/
cause i downloaded it and it works in PLAY NOW but during dynasty after one season during off season it crashes.

ANDREW YOUR ROSTER IS STILL THE BEST CAUSE IT IS CRASH FREE.





i'm planning to delete RR7 cause it crashes during offseason in dynasty..
ANY suggestions from you guys????

If you want to use any NBA Live 08 roster with NBA Live 07, all you need to copy across is appearance.dbf and players.dbf; every other dbf file should be an NBA Live 07 database. If you do that, you should be able to advance to the next season in Dynasty Mode without any problems.

Hello dude i have tried it anD WORKS UNTIL THE SIGNING OF FREE AGENTS BUT DURING THE TRADING PART OF THE OFFSEASON IT CRASHES WHAT'S THE PROBLEM DUDE? EVEN I DONT TRADE ANY?

No need to type in all caps or use so many smileys, you'll get a reply to your post eventually.

I'd try replacing birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf in your roster save with the default files from originaldb, see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise, everything should work fine without any problems. I've tested it a few times in preparation for converting the forthcoming NLSC update for 08 for use with 07 and it works fine.

and another thing, will i just copy the birth.dbf to my save folder dynasty or make another roster? cause i tried it in my dynasty and it not works. and i get it from the origdatabase in my documents? ayt?..

Copy it to another roster, not your saved Dynasty file. If you do that then you're bound to cause a crash.

If you save a roster file in NBA Live 07 and then copy appearance.dbf and players.dbf from an NBA Live 08 roster update, it should work fine. That's what I did with my update when I tested it out and I didn't encounter any problems. That's Albys' update though so I'm not aware if there are any other issues I haven't thought of but I shouldn't think there'd be any problems.

hey dude want to clear it up.

* i have reset the rosters in nba live 07 and save it,then copy the players and apperance.dbf from nba live 08 and then create a dynasty and the dynasty goes well until the trade in the offseason. WHAt do you think is the problem?

*About the birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf, I have copied from : MY Documents;NBA live07;database;OrigDB;and paste it my save dynasty? it is right?
But still it causes the game to crash in the trade in the offseason.

Should be, I believe we use the all the same PLAYERPKG values for players we've added, perhaps give or take a couple.
