what do you mean nothing is changed, go into a game and take a screenshot for me

are you detail settings on max for everything?

did you install it properly?

are there different dunks and passes?

do courts just look the same?

I mean give specifics, saying that it doesnt work really doesnt help the situation much.
Opinions are my own.

are you sure you installed it correctly?

dont try to update the rosters or anything cause that will mess it up.

just try reinstalling it all and make sure you are putting everything in the right place. something got screwed up somewhere down the line.

Hi,

I don't know if I should post here, because I'm actually facing the same problem with the SUM 07 2.0 update instead. Previously I was able to install the SUM 07 mod on my Windows XP PC a few years ago. I decided to install NBA Live 07 on my Windows Vista PC today, with the SUM update. However, I see no changes to the Front End Menu (Still the same old default one).

I can see a lot of .fsh and .ebo files in the SGSM folder (again, this is a fresh installation). So I think it's safe to say that the mod is indeed installed correctly?

I would like to give you a comparison of what is changed in-game, but I don't know how it looked (before) to give you a comparison. Are there more specific things I can take screenshots of to show you? I was able to load the SUM 2.0 Roster that was included with the installation. I see sweat on Kobe's forehead, he's wearing a pair of Zooms, while Fisher is wearing a pair of black Nikes. Shoe textures look sweet. Only things not showing up(from memory of previous experience with SUM 07), are no ESPN overlays, no change to the front end menu, no SUM/ESPN logo-popup-thingy transition between plays/replays.

I suspect this is a problem with the installer and vista (perhaps because the file system is abit different from XP?), therefore some files may not get registered or something? i.e the User and Documents locations etc, or roaming folders. I don't really know, just throwing in stuff.

Nevermind, I got it to work.. I think.

I uninstalled Live 07. Installed V 1.0 of SUM instead of 2.0 first. And it worked.

In SUM 2.0's installer, it mentions that Version 1.0 is not needed, but the filesize between the two versions is quite great, does that mean that certain stuff were left out? (In V2.0 there are like only 5 checkboxes for a custom install, as compared to V1.0, which has abt 10?).

If this has not been done, I suggest putting a disclaimer stating the differences in the first post of SUM headquarters.

Thanks for the mod =)
