All-Decade Classic Rosters

I've made all-decade rosters for the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 00's teams. I've expanded the rosters to include as many as 29 players on each team for more variety. Furthermore, I've adjusted the player's ratings to be more consistent with what I believe their true abilities are.

Some of the artwork for players that I couldn't find anywhere else suck, and I had to use some generic cyberfaces. If there is any interest in further developing these rosters, please let me know.

I guess the game will crash with 30 players in one team lol.. but nice work bro... haven't tried it yet

The game shouldn't crash with 30 players on a team--at least it didn't for me. That just gives you a bigger inactive list, but it's for me to rotate out players when I want to try something new.

I have tried it... what I a terrific roster.. me myself loves old school players... this roster will be better if the portraits work... I saw you add on portraits files such as Nate thurmond or David Thompson... but it doesn't work right... you might have to change it

The common practice around here is to get permission before including other patchers art in your patch and including their names on a credit list.For me, permission isn't necessary, but i would like to be credited in a list somewhere.thanks.

BAYAG, sorry for not acknowledging you. I'm not sure where I got all my artwork from, but I know I borrowed extensively from your patches, especially the Classic Teams patch. I also borrowed extensively from Andrew Begley's NLSC NBA Live 07 patch. I'm not sure if I took artwork from anyone else, because I made this in collaboration with my friend, and I've lost track of which archives I've extracted artwork from.

In any case, I will include a readme to acknowledge your contribution in future updates.

Edit: I have also made use of the "00's All-Stars". I actually do not have the original archive on my computer, as my friend gave me the necessary artwork, but I'm not sure who the original author is. I'll try to get in contact with him, but please let me know if you can direct me to the original author.

00's all star belong to Jimmy... and he vanished in March and never came back... so I don't think you can contact him lol

I'm the friend the OP referred to who worked with him on these rosters. We used portraits, cyberfaces, and roster entries from BAYAG's Classic Challenge roster and Andrew's NLSC roster whenever available. For the players that were not found on these rosters (like Thurmond, Thompson, C. Hawkins, etc.) we used the roster entries from an old (NBA Live 05) roster we found containing those players (can't remember where this is). We created portraits by cropping images found on the web, and we created cyberfaces by taking the player in the original game who we thought looked most like the player in question, and just copied it over; for example for Nate Thurmond's cyberface we used Wilt's cyberface, and for their equipment file we used Drazen Petrovic's equipment file; he has nothing (headbands, tattoos, etc.) on him so it was the most simple and reasonable one to use. The 00 All stars jersey and court came from Jimmy's patch.

Not a problem with me guys...everyone is welcome to use the legend art I created but a list of credits is needed when releasing it to the public.Some of the other patchers require permission 1st then a name on the credits...but not me...good luck

I'm in the process of releasing 6 teams for the nba live pc project and i'm still updating my finals challenge mod for 07. 81 Bucks , 50's era MPLS team and the original nike air force 1 team from the 80's will be coming up.You guys are welcome to use those when theyre released.
