Our average age is 27 and over as my players are getting older but we do have a few young players. We won 2 nba championships and i'm a two time coach of the year, this year we made it to the eastern conference finals but we lost to toronto who would go on to win the nba championship. So what do you think of this team?

Yeah you're right about the gaurds but that was something that i could not avoid because the scout kept telling me every offseason that i need point gaurds and that's all that they've been giving me.

Are you simulating the Draft? If not, you're not restricted to the recommended players, you can pick anyone that's still available.

hm, i didn't know that but i do enter the draft. I don't know if i can trade any of them because most of the gaurds are in their 30's now like formor. I'll just try to pick players at other positions then. Even though i enter the draft though, one year they gave the choices of six point gaurds.

I might play 07 again because of this. I really like playing 07 dynasty more of 08. Nice team you got there by the way. Your team is a little stacked.

End of any racist discussion.

That's definitely bad advice. ;) I'd certainly recommend advancing to the next screen and picking from the entire pool of generated rookies rather than sticking to the recommended players when the CPU makes suggestions like that.

Yeah, and most of the time, you even if you get a player with a bad draft rating, The one that you probably drafted would become totally awesome. You just have to pay attention to the rookie's ratings from all the scouting you've done. Like there was this one time I got an early 2nd round draft pick in a trade, took a 2nd round player, and It became my superstar... He's name was Ed Eddy, he now has inside/outside stopper, inside/outside scoring, shooter, highflyer, power dunker, and most importantly, lots and lots of stamina. I got the guy in the draft when he was only 19 years old, and by age 23, he already got all of my previously mentioned FSS abilities. I think he started at 74 overall rating as a rookie, and retired at a 98 rating in 2029 after spending 19 years in the league. What a good carreer... After that, I just simulated the game until the Dynasty ended.

Exactly. The analysts aren't always right anyway, so a bad grade doesn't mean much if the player you'd prefer is a better fit.

Thank guys, i have never used the draft pool but yesterday i did and i got the players that i wanted i forgot their ratings but for rookies they were pretty high. One was rated in the high 60' and the other was rated in the low 70's. They weren't points gaurd either. I forgot the position since it now has been a few years since my last post and we won 2 more championships.
