Ok, first turn caps lock off. Typing in all lower caps is more acceptable then all upper capitals.
Just like my post above, the quit game crash bug seems to be random. My experience is this-
I bought Live 07 when it came out, installed it and was able to play fine without crashing. One month later, EA released the official patch to fix some bugs. I reinstalled the game without mods, installed the patch, and all of a sudden the game started crashing when I quit a game.
This is what I tried-
I uninstalled the game first and foremost.
I restarted my computer.
I unplugged any cable that connects me to the internet.
I turned off my anti-virus.(You may or may not have one)
I shutdown my software firewall.(You may or may not have one)
I ended every single background program that didn't come with Windows XP(Or whatever operating system you have). Use the "Task Manager" (CTRL+ALT+DEL), right clicked on the 'processes' name and chose end process. If you are unsure about which processes are from Windows and which processes are from a 3rd party(non-microsoft), you can google the name of the process and read a few links, you should be able to find out which processes are from microsoft.
Once that is complete I reinstalled the game.
The game no longer crashed for me.
This may not work for you, but it worked for me.
Another option is to start Windows in Safe Mode. To do that you press F8 during boot up. You can press it multiple times until you get the option for Safe Mode. In XP there is an option for Safe Mode with networking, and Safe Mode without networking. Choose without networking to be safe. Install the game.
I had to try different combinations of what I suggested, but I eventually got it to work.
Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX. You can also try different drivers for your videocard. You can try both newer or older drivers.
By the way, have you registered before under the usernames truballer845 or prowl?
