How is that possible?

I put in Gameplay Settings for User Defensive and Offensive rebounding 100, for both CPU stats I set 0, but CPU has more rebounded balls anyway!! How is that possible??

The CPU tends to find a way to grab rebounds when it really needs to, especially at the defensive end. Even with those slider adjustments, you'll need to get into good position and try and box out your opponents (as well as NBA Live 07 will allow you to, anyway). NBA Live 07 also has an annoying problem of having your players jump backwards - and often away from the ball - when you go for a rebound. Sometimes you have to compensate for that.

There's a little thing I found that makes your A.I. controlled players really dominate the defensive boards and also on the offensive boards only when you shoot the ball at certain times (so they have spacing to get off the box out).

Basically it involves moving the right analog stick down and holding it while the ball is in the air. Then as soon as it its the rim, press up on the right analog stick and watch your players attack the rebound and box out really well.

It also seems to work on helping your big men attempt to block shots. Only problem is it sometimes gets tiring to keep doing this method and timing is and spacing is crucial. obviously if your running a zone defense it will be harder for your players to get good rebound position. Anyway, no matter what team I play with, either my power forward (usually him) or my center averages 15 - 20 rebound per game. Once I got 27 rebounds, 8 blocked shots, 36 points and 4 steals with Amare Stoudimire and I never controlled him once when grabbing the rebounds. Only time I controlled him was on offense (he loves to fast break for some reason...guess cause he's fast). However, don't think it has to be a superstar player to do this, average players like P.J. brown or low rated players like jamal sampson (very good rebounder), Jamal White and others (even ones with less than 65 overall rating) can dominate the boards sometimes. I've had backups with rebound ratings of 50ish come in and control rebounders like ben wallace and shut them out from getting any defensive rebounds at all.

Also, holding down on the right analog stick, step back off the defender a bit and slightly move the stick left and right (not too much and not moving towards the defender or you'll foul) will shut down most passing lanes and will even improve off ball defense with your A.I. players. You'll get a lot of tipped passes and intercepted passes...especially when the PG tries to run plays from the very top of the 3pt line.

Basically any rapid movement with the right analog stick seems to make your team play much better even when momentum and synergy is down with your current lineup (they just seem to respond better for some reason). Lineup synergy plays the most important role though....get that lineup synergy high and players seem to respond very well on every aspect of the game and even better when I use the right analog stick trick in addition. so far I average about 50 rebounds per game in my last 3 dynasty's...but like I said, it gets tiring to keep doing that every play...lol Sometimes players will give up 10 offensive boards to the computer too though because the computer can basically jump through your team and snatch a rebound 5 feet away from him...I really hate that :(

Oh and one more thing....the third quarter or at the beginning of the 4th, the A.I. seems to go into unstoppable mode and PG's become so fast that even chasing them with players like tony parker (99 speed) can't catch'em or keep up....just one of EA's super modes like they do in madden's all-madden mode where players with 70 speed become as fast as players with 99 speed.
