Help! how do I change the sock colour of each teams?

I've been editing the teamgear.dbf file but there's no effect when I change the color field codes.

For example, Cleveland's team sock color is red but I want it to change in white for home and black from away.

Is there anyone who knows to edit the sock colors of each team?
