Realistic Roster 2007-08 v.2.1 by Albys

The Realistic Roster has been developed to offer the best level of simulation possible while playing an NBA Live 07 Dynasty mode or Season mode. I spent hundreds hours watching videos, reading official stats and others to be able to make every NBA player behave exactly as he does in reality.
Among all sources I used to make this roster the most important are:
-nba.com (rosters, stats and bio)
-nbadraft.net (rookies)
-playitusa.com (rookies and other)
-hoopshype.com (rosters and salaries)
-youtube.com (videos)
-NLSC forum (misc)
-draftexpress.com (rookies’ size)
-my personal knowledge, of course

Features:

1) Team rosters updated at 06-08-2007 (Kevin Garnett trade included), including the first 37 rookies drafted on June and 12 more from the second round, beside them, up to 200 Free Agents.
Unsigned FA have been placed in the FA list or left in their team roster, depending on the number of player already present in their team’s roster and the last rumours.

2) Players have more realistic values, all manually updated one by one referring to the NBA official stats. Fix primacy, scoring area, learning, destiny, dunk packages.

3) Real contracts both in salary and duration. Some missing contracts have been set following hoopsype.com rumours, to have the most realistic salary cap possible.

4) Some starting five have been edited to avoid CPU’s bad substitution managing. In a few words the starting five are those players who plays the most important minutes during the game.

5) Lot of fix including body, muscles and skin colour.

6) Completely renewed teamgear.dbf, which allows now to use all the alternative jerseys, among these some hidden and others found on the web:
- St. Patrick Day’s Boston, Chicago and New York jerseys.
- New Orleans’ St.Valentine jersey
- Black for Toronto, Houston and Orlando
- Red one for Milwakee
- Glacier and some old Phoenix’s jerseys
- Blue 2006 and old Philadelphia jerseys
- Gold jerseys for Sacramento and Washington
- Silver and grey San Antonio jersey
- Alternative and fictional Memphis jerseys
- Cleveland 2002-03 away and home (2x, by Looser))
- Dallas 2003-04 alt. (2x, by Looser)
- New 2007-08 jerseys for Atlanta and Philadelphia (2x, by Conr4d and Looser)
All files except 2X jerseys (this files is too big) are included and located into the sgsm folder.

7) Updated all players’ shoes (new rookies’ shoes also!) through the shoesacc.dbf file, including every version of the accurate shoes’ patch until version X. Obviously all shoes’ files must to be placed into the sgsm folder. Updated also just traded players’ shoes.

8) Updated appearance.dbf file including real players’ stuffs (bands, bracelets, tattoos and so on)

Installation:

1) Unzip the file “RealRoster07-08” into your SAVES folder, which is usually placed here (Win XP): X:\Documents and settings\user\Documents\NBA LIVE 07\saves

2) Copy all files from the sgsm folder into your game sgsm folder, usually located at (Win XP): X:Program files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 07\sgsm. Overwrite older files if asked.
Copy the files from the subfolder “uniforms” into the same sgsm subfolder on your hard drive.

3) Start the game, from the options-charge\save menu select RealRoster07-08 and charge it.

4) Enjoy the Realistic Roster 2007-08!!

Notes:

The Realistic Roster is fully compatible with every patch relased, official or unofficial.
To improve the game realism (but the good level of play depend on good setting of sliders in game options…), I suggest you to install:

a) The EA Sports official patch:

pretty good job, the gameplay is somewhat realistic, even whithout any aiact patch, which is great for nba live 07.

You can choose every single jersey of this pack.
This teamgear also work with NLSC roster.

hello Albys your roster is great but there is a bug with the new Phili home, away and serd jersey portraits

okay i look in your teamgear.dbf file and i saw that you change the new Phili Jerseys line to ho08, aw08 and se08. I change the Jersey files like this lines (philaw08, philho08 and philse08.fsh) but it still not working can you help me?
