Adding Players to Dynasty Rosters

Hey this is my first post here and I'm a n00b when it comes to modding NBA Live 07, so sorry if any of my questions have been asked before.

Is it possible to add individual players to my current dynasty (its into the fourth season) rosters, e.g. players that have retired, legends or free agents that weren't in the default roster? If so what files do I need to edit and what things do i need to look for?

I have DB Commander and realise I have to add the player's details I want to add to the players.dbf and appearance.dbf files. I tried this with Alonzo Mourning (he had retired from my dynasty) adding him to the free agent pool but the game crashed. (I think tho its because he had no expected contract details lol). Also is it possible to draft these players as rookies?

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it thanks

You have to copy the player then insert it into the players.dbf in your dynasty. To add a new line you scroll to the bottom then press the down arrow key. Then past the player's line into it. Do this with the appearance.dbf also. I am sure some of the roster creator's on here could explain it better. Sounds like you have the right idea with Alonzo Mourning but I don't know why it would crash. It might have something to do with the contract info or other info not being complete.

Yeah it was just the contract info, edited it and it was all good. I'm having another problem now, but might start a new topic for it. Thanks

is your problem the guy wont dunk? i think its because the player height changes - maybe?
