v1.04 released...

Postby Andrew on Sun Mar 18, 2007 9:05 pm

Welcome to the official support thread for v1.04 of the NLSC NBA Live 07 Current Roster Update!

Andrew wrote:A new version (v1.04) of the NLSC current roster update for NBA Live 07 is now available to download here.

Key features of v1.04:
- 2006/2007 Season Rosters (accurate as of 17/03/07)
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Fatigue ratings updated for better substitution patterns
- Cyberfaces for all newly added players
- Portraits for all newly added players
- adidas, International & European All-Stars Updated
- Some skintones corrected
- Terry Stotts replaced by Larry Krystkowiak
- Fatigue Fix included

A few release notes:

  1. Due to the fact fatigue ratings have been adjusted, some overall ratings are subsequently lower. This is particularly noticeable on the All-Star teams where the ratings have been lowered even further to allow all players to get into the game and play a decent amount of minutes. This is pretty much a superficial change since all players are affected by the changes and the only difference you should notice is with the substitution patterns, which should now be more realistic.
  2. Players on the adidas team have slightly higher Fatigue ratings compared to the other All-Star teams since there's only eight players on the roster.
  3. I'm still on the lookout for a Larry Krystkowiak cyberface. If anyone can contribute one, please let me know. :)
  4. The Fatigue Fix will update Fatigue ratings for a Dynasty in progress. Unlike the Primacy Fix, you only need to run it once. There shouldn't be any problems with the fix but it's always a good idea to make a backup of your Dynasty in case anything does go wrong. It's a good idea to keep a backup of your Dynasty anyway, in case you want to make any modifications through dbf editing or in case anything else happens (ie accidentally saving over/deleting it).

That's about it. Any problems, suggestions or corrections, this is the place to post them. ;)

Thanks everyone, and you're welcome. :) Let me know how the Fatigue ratings work out, there's probably still room for improvement there.

Thanks again to Jimmy for his advice and research. (Y)

Great work Andrew!!! (Y)

But I still have some suggestions.

1. Mikki Moore is very underrated. He's scoring 9.3 pts per game(http://nba.com/playerfile/mikki_moore/index.html),mostly from inside, according to http://www.82games.com/0607/06NJN14A.HTM but his FG is 50 and inside's 68. I think it should be near 65-68 FG and 71-72 inside. Than, I found at hoopshype.com some of his characteristics: "Very athletic... Good mobility... Runs the floor well... Active defender... Good shot-blocking skills... Can hit the mid-range shot... Way too thin for the center spot." Due to this I think that his speed and block have to be increased from 46 and 42 to at least 55 and 57-60.

2. Rafer Alston now is scoring 13.6 pts per game(http://www.nba.com/playerfile/rafer_alston). It's a very good result,he scores more than Sheed, Anthony Parker, Bobby Jackson etc,and they have FG 76-77. He has only 71. Increase it,plz,at least to 74-75. Then he is 8th in Steals Per Game (http://www.nba.com/statistics/player/St ... ason=22006) . It means he's a good defender and has only 54 in def.awareness. I suggest it has to be increased at least to ~70.
Thx again for the roster, nice work :)

Hi Andrew, your roster is really nice . but i think theres a mistake with the blazers, Sergio Rodriguez plays more than Dickau, an Rodriguez isn't in the 12 convocated players and now Udoka is titular on the team.

Well, it's not really a mistake per se since that's the Uninjured version of the roster which ignores injuries and real lineups, which is why Darius Miles is starting for the Blazers instead of Udoka in that version of the roster.

Great update as always, thanks a lot!

I have noticed that Bostjan Nachbar has started appearing regularily in the NBA.com top 10 with some pretty imressive one handed jams - I think his 55 dunk rating needs a lift.

I've noticed that too, I thought I'd raised his dunk rating a couple of updates back but it seems not. I'll check it out. :)

Hi again Andrew!
I have some more suggestions about some NBA players.
Thabo Sefolosha. At hoopshype.com I found some notes about him:"Nice all-around player... Pretty athletic... Superb defender on the ball..." He has only 60 in def.awareness and it's NOT a superb defender. I think it should be increased at least to 73-75.

His Defensive Awareness probably could stand to be improved a bit but I don't think it needs to be that high just yet. I'll certainly review it though. :)

You can't apply it to a Dynasty/Season already in progress. Sorry.

Rafer Alston now is scoring 13.6 pts per game(http://www.nba.com/playerfile/rafer_alston). It's a very good result,he scores more than Sheed, Anthony Parker, Bobby Jackson etc,and they have FG 76-77. He has only 71.

Alston shoots 47% from the floor and gets 14.5 points per 40. (Not pace-adjusted. Last season: 45% 12.9)
Sheed shoots 47% and gets 14.9 points per 40. (Last season: 50%, 18.1)
Parker shoots 54% and gets 14.0 points per 40.
Jackson shoots 44% and gets 17.7 points per 40. (Last season: 47%, 19.1)

Better data to determine one's field goal rating than points per game...

No, it doesn't. It means he plays 37 minutes a night and therefore can get a solid number of steals. He only snares 1.7 steals per 40 minutes. Chuck Hayes and Bonzi Wells rip steals at the same rate. And those are just players on the Rockets, let alone guys who can get 2+ steals.

Plus, Alston is an average defender at best. He got a stop on 46% of his counterparts' possessions last year, which placed him 32nd out of 61 point guards to play over 20% of minutes. He ranked 26 out of 49 point guards to play at least a third of minutes. And of the top 30 point guards in minutes he ranked 18th. And while he lead the team in stops per game it was because he played 38 mpg, he was last on the team in defensive points allowed per possession.

Hi Andrew! How are you ?
I have some little suggetions for you: :)
-A.Jamison is second scorer in Washington, with alot of stuff from outside, and have fg and 3 pt just 75 and 63, but he shooting 3 pts very good, sugestion that his FG and 3-pt shoud be a lil bit increased to help washington scores much in game like in life.
-E.Okafor jump. Only 55, like old centers have. But he is young PF with a lot of power dunk, rebounds, bloks, in life he jumping something like 70-75 in game like have Jamison or Odom and other players with the same positions. Also his quickness better than D.Howard he is faster than D12 and more plastic, but have quick only 64 but howard have 68. Please take a look on this Andrew.
-Ricky Davis. It's hard to play with Minesotta without one good outside scorer. In life Davis scoring very good from outside but with FG 75 it's hard to do in the game . Please make atention on this too.
Greetz, and have a good luck in life Andrew (Y)

Oops i forgot 2 things about Memphis players :D
-P.Gasol with 2.2 bloks per game deserves SS level of blocking. He is super in blocking this season, other players like KG and D.Howard have SS level with less bloks per game. Also his rebound was uped from 8.5 to 9.8 this season with 7.1 def rebound per game.
-M.Miller with career high 18.5 points per game and 2.9 3 pts made per game second result in NBA with high % deserves to be SS 3 pt shooter.
Take a look on this players please
Have a nice day dear Andrew :headbang: (Y) :applaud:
