GIMP-based tutorials

So, yeah, the title says it all. Some tutorials for GIMP would be super mega awesome. I'm a noob patcher, and also a poor bastard, so I cannot purchase Photoshop. I also have a conscience and therefor cannot illegally download Photshop, either. As such, the GIMP remains basically my only option.

So, it's probably a long shot, but if anyone can make some GIMP (for Windows) jersey and court tutorials, that would be effin' awesome.

They don't even need to be long tutorials. Hell, you could even take someone else's tutorial (with their permission, of course) and edit all the pertinent Photoshop info in that tutorial to GIMP info. It would be easy and so very, very, very helpful.

use that to learn gimp, then look around the forums for jersey making tutorials and other tutorials

I know. The search button and I are tight. But sometimes, the search button refuses to cooperate and won't give the info you need, even if you spend 2 hours browsing the forums.

But thank you anyway for your help. I suppose I just need to figure it out by a process of trial and error.
