Making Teams Unavailable in a roster

Id like to make some teams disapear in the play now menu
tried deleted all teams in teams.dbf bu they still appear
anything else i can try ?
maybe a trick to make a sgsm file to make those teams or their logos disapear ?

i am a noob, dont kon much, but can tell you this:

make a nev roster save file, through the game, then go to jaur documents and in saves edit the nev roster files teams.dbf database, then open the game and load your roster...

You could try changing their TEAMCODE to 3 (same as the Free Agents). That should remove them from Play Now mode, though it will cause problems with Dynasty Mode.

YOOO ANDREW thx man this worked i switched TEAMCODE TO 4 for all teams i didnt want to appear...i then put the game original allstar teams to 0 so they can appear in online gaming....i wonder why ea put em out...
so takin out the regular teams DOES fuck up dynasty...but it all good for me ...this is for online play... thanx again for the tip
