adding a custom team, main things

hi

a noob here speaking, so please have mersy...
did some search on tutorials and toolz already and got the main idea, but just cant work out how to add a team...

ofcourse tried to add number 51 team to teams.dbf in game root directory and more or less filled it out... but did not get results, later noticed that the there are like a butload of same kind of database file folders in documents/nba07saves

so the question is, what files to modify and how it works? Tried to work something out by deliting half of teams in the teams.dbf file, but to my surprise nothing happened, the teams stayed in the game. OH and maybe there are some critical things that noob can easily miss trying to add his first team...

maybe I have missed some good tutorials, aber searched quite a lot for those...

ok, got the team going, pretty easy actually, but now I am confused with the art files...

maybe somebody could tell exactly where the menu logos are located...
